Hmm, I don't know, Liverpool felt kinda "different" in the first half, not the usual offensive style with high pressure to get the ball fast, seems to me like they gave all the responsibility to City while they just stayed back just to counter-attack. Second half was better, Fabinho offered a lot more than Milner in the midfield but still, this wasn't the same Liverpool that i'm used to seeing every weekend...maybe it's just me, I don't know lol

I was amazed with the first goal scored by Sergio Aguero against Liverpool today, there was not much space for him to shoot from that angle but he is still able to fire in a goal. I think it was a very good decision made by Pep Guardiola to field Sergio Aguero into the starting line ups today, even though Liverpool did managed to equalize the score in the second half of the match, but Manchester City are still able to beat Liverpool in front of their home fans with the scoreline of 2-1. Manchester City are only falling behind Liverpool with 4 points now after today victory and Tottenham are 6 points behind Liverpool, I guess there is still a chance for both of these teams to catch up with Liverpool now until the end of this season.

Liverpool is known for scoring I am just surprised they could only get one.

Its been an entertaining game so far and I just hope there will be another goal scored before the end as I have my bet on over 3.5 goals for this match. I'm also hoping that Man City can get the win as I am a supporter so I'm hoping the next goal is from Man City but if it is Liverpool that score a late equaliser at least I win my bet.

Man it has been a wild week, the lower side of the fight is going away very quickly. Leicester will probably finish at 7th or at worst 8th and that is it, its already decided and its just half yet, however the upper side is getting more and more fun. Another win by Manchester United and they are just 3 points away from europa league, only 6 points away from champions league thanks to Chelsea getting a draw. It is getting really fiery up in there.

All teams needs to be very careful about what they are doing. No one has any credit right now. Look at what happened to City, they were unbeaten leaders at one point, now they are not even in top 2 or barely there. I think Premier League hasn't been this competitive in a long time, aside from Leicester year almost all years had a clear contender and following teams, this year it could be anyone's game at any position.

I just had a quick look on Bet365, the odd for over 4.5 market is 7/2 which is a good gain if (keyword if) you win it.

Well betting on Liverpool to win gives you just over 7/2, which I feel is a better bet than going for a 5 goal game... City may have a crappier defence but Fernandinho is back, and Alisson plus Van Dijk unlikely to ship more than 2 goals especially with Aguero still rusty and Sterling seemingly in a rut.

On paper the home team is still far stronger but I think Liverpool want to win this much more, all 11 individuals on the field today will be hungry to put 10 points between them and the only likely challenger.

It's definitely not over if we lose, but we need this momentum going, all the way through at least February. Marathon is barely halfway there.

Fernandinho being back is huge for City. They need that enforcer, tackling and intercepting behind their attackers and they that assurance that somebody has their back.

City need their full backs to suck less too. With Mendy always injured, Walker seems off, Danilo no better and Delph is not really full back... But that's football. Lol.
