Right then, last night had a few surprises, starting right off with the upset by Cardiff, though the red card was a portent.

Spurs have again squeezed out all 3 points, is that now their 5th 1-0 win or am I thinking of another team? Remember the last time a team got 1-0 consistently, they won the league by 10 points (Leicester City!).

Newcastle suddenly find themselves with a lot of breathing space, so DeathAngel, you did well, just need City and Liverpool to win to get your parlay, really well done on Newcastle, but how could anyone except a Toon predict 2 consecutive wins?

United gave us a great Mourinho performance to win me 6.66 so I'm wondering if he can do another Special One tonight. Guardiola's men haven't tasted defeat other than at Lyon, so is the time right?

You never really know with Mou.  Their stats head to head say Pep wins, but Mou tends to find a way to out fox his rivals when it matters.  And this match def matters with United on 7th place or something on the table...

I agree with most of you said, City will obviously dominate because United's luck against Juvie was hilarious. I feel horrible for anyone with bets hanging on that one. But regardless, 3 or 4 goals seem a bit hard to pull off. I have a hunch that they're only going to finish with 2 goals over.

Maybe. But United's defense really have been awful so far this season. They have conceded 18 goals compared to City's 4. In terms of goals conceded, they are 15th in table. If it wasn't for De Gea, they would be even lower. They haven't been able to keep a clean sheet against teams like Newcastle.

And we all know how deadly City's offense can be when they are regularly racking up 5 or 6 goals in a game.

I mean I can't disagree about the disaster that is Utd's defense, but we can't deny that they did WIN the game against Juventus. That alone might give the team a reason to pickup the pace in the derby tomorrow. I'm not saying they're going to win (which if it happens, is going to be one hell of an upturn), but I don't see them losing form to take more than 2 goals of difference. If I had to bet on tomorrow's score it would probably be 2 to 1.

And football will not escape from luck, you say Juventus have 23 shots and Manchester United only 9, and MU's final results came out as winners. This is football not mathematics where 1 + 1 = 2 and it will not change at any time. Anything can happen in soccer

I mean you're not wrong, but come on. Football isn't casino slots, some games SHOULD be one-sided. Surprises happen, but that's what they are, surprises.

I think maybe the visitors will make a surprise. Manchester United, which has just beaten Juventus, will certainly continue this positive result to the derby match. Liverpool are always struggling against weak teams, this will be difficult for Liverpool. And maybe Newcastle United will win with a thin score.

No chance. United's win was pure luck. Did you see their second goal? Juventus had 23 shots in the game, United only had 9. Given how good City's attack is and how bad United's defence is, I reckon something like 3 or 4 goals to City isn't unrealistic. I also very much doubt Liverpool (8-3-0) are going to struggle against last place Fulham (1-2-8).

The only game doubtful in that parlay is Newcastle to beat Bournemouth.

And to finish, I parlay a Bournemouth win. Easily Wink

Cardiff City won the match with a score of 2-1 and were able to be in 16th place in the standings. They were left behind in the 6th minute of the first half but were able to equalize in the 28th minute. The winning goal was created at the final minutes of the second half. This is a maximum result and will certainly pump their spirits to face the next matches.
After the referee sent off one player from Brighton & Hove Albion on the field, if Cardiff City are still not able to beat Brighton & Hove Albion in front of their home fans, the home fans would surely be very disappointed, but Brighton & Hove Albion did held on quite well in this match, despite playing with only 10 men on the field, Cardiff City still need a late goal to claim a victory against them, that is also one of the reason that makes soccer such an amazing game, as the result is always unpredictable until the final whistle is blown by the referee.

Damn, Opening game and an upset has already happened, based on bookie odds anyway. I'm backing an even bigger upset today, all props to Leicester and their team, and in no way anything personal, but I also feel Burnley, just like Fulham, have not been getting their dues on the basis of football (not that I'm a huge fan of Dyche's style but they're robust and should get a win some time soon).

Let’s bump this bad boy to the top of page 1 ahead of some interesting games in match week 12.

I’m going to go with a parlay -

Man City vs Man Utd - Home win
Liverpool vs Fulham - Home win
Newcastle vs B’mouth - Home win

So that’s a 3 way home parlay Smiley
I'm not so sure about the Newcastle win. If you look at the league table, there's a clear favorite, and that's Bournemouth (6th on the league table, while Newcastle are 17th). The Magpies just won their first game last weekend but that doesn't change the fact that they're one of the worst teams in the EPL...IMO that's a risky parlay to say the least.

Agree with the risky parlay on Newcastle, they bagged their first win and I predicted that last week but it was a very lucky game they almost let in equaliser. Not quite worth the parlay either, as Newcastle is 3/1, even with Liverpool and City padding it, you get 4/1? Not good value in my books but good luck all the same.

Cardiff City would need to get some points desperately if they wish to climb out of the relegation zone on the English Premier League table, even though Cardiff City will be playing against Brighton & Hove Albion in their next match with home ground advantage, I still think Brighton & Hove Albion is the better team in this match, and Cardiff City should consider themselves lucky if they can earn 1 point from this match with a draw.

This is a good occassion for them to get at least one point from this encounter. While Brighton has showed more good football compared to Cardiff the fact that Cardiff are playing at home and against a team of the same level should made them comfortable to get at least one point from this match.

I’d like United to take points off City, can’t see it though. I think City will totally outclass United. 3-0 or 3-1 to City I reckon.

Hoping my boys LFC can bounce back from a humiliating loss midweek in the CL.

It looks like an easy game for Liverpool this week against a newly promoted team like Fulham. I think that Liverpool will unleash the fury and will win with a score of a big margin like 5-0 or 6-0 and I will play the Over 4.5 goals for this game. Liverpool I think will put up a good show before their fans in Anfield Road on Sunday in a metaphoric way as saying sorry to their supporters for these last bad games they had.

Derby is never been easy for any team I also looking some good fight from United as they are doing some good in last few matches they can give some tough time to rivals and if this match going to end in 1 - 1 I will not be surprised as its not upset for me.
