Slightly off topic but why are all these washed up super stars going to the MLS? First Beckham, then Zlatan and now Rooney.  That league has always been a joke and always will be.  Soccer (Football)  is like the fifth or sixth most popular sport in America and all the Americans I know could care less about it.  Wouldn't surprise me if Cristiano Ronaldo ends up in the MLS soon.

Well I don't exactly find MLS games entertaining but I have to admit I haven't watched them for years. Maybe things have changed. Some people find their format entertaining (I prefer straight league games or KO phases), I think Lukaku is one EPL player who's said that the format's very challenging.

US were also a force to be reckoned with on international stage not so long ago, and I did find players like Brad Friedel or Clint Dempsey very good value to English football - athletic and exciting. Washed up stars they may be, but come on, give them a break. Zlatan gave them many memories. Rooney's also done so much in his first season there to spearhead his team to play offs.

Some interesting games today, it will be especially interesting to see Spurs vs Chelsea. I think BTTS is an attractive bet. I have a feeling Spurs may win though.

Last year Chelsea won and I think today they will win too because their form is better than Tottenham and Tottenham as a charachteristic I have noticed during some years have inconsistency.

They may come up with a really good football show today and win the game but the probability for this to happen is small in my opinion.

true or just cause of HAZARD perhaps....

no i think as a team chelsea will win today, they play very good football under sarri (much respect for pochettino as well)
but the form of chelsea is very good and Spurs missing some key players i think @defense as dembele for midfield....
i think its a close call but i will go for chelsea today as a winner
MAN CITY will eat the hammers, LFC is not gonna have a easy game but will get the job done, NOW man u a doubt i think there could be a suprise in that game (they really should lose mourinho or the team will get more ill as it already is)
fulham could be a draw
everton will have a handicap win
leicester will also win IMO Smiley

Tottenham vs Chelsea and away team Chelsea is one of the 3 teams that have not been defeated besides Man City and Liverpool but Tottenham as host team also not weak but indeed playing at their home ground Tottenham slightly benefited and recently i was checked for Tottenham home match records and it does not really good but regarding their chance in this match i think Tottenham will win and my pick this time for them

Tottenham's home record isn't so impressive. Played 4 home games and able to win only twice with two losses. Tottenham away's record looks great btw. So, at today's match againts Chelsea the chance will be equal for both teams to win the game. I guess there will be a lot of goals at this match. So, total goals will be the good market to consider.
Yes indeed i know about that during this season Tottenham away match records is more good than their home match but i think Tottenham players will so motivate to defeat Chelsea and they needed to win if Tottenham want to still at champion league zone and if Tottenham really able to defeat Chelsea then third position will belong to them

MLS isn't as competitive as the european leagues, so you can go to X or Y team and relax by not giving your 100% (since you're old) in each game like you would in europe, and you get paid the same if not more than in the european teams.

Wouldn't surprise me if Cristiano Ronaldo ends up in the MLS soon.
Nah, his competitive mindset won't allow him to go to a shitty league like the MLS, he could've gone to USA or China after leaving Real and make a shit ton of money, but the guy is a competitive beast. He'll probably retire in Europe.

True, tho Juve's offer was also financial competitive enough to make him move there.  He's still worth the money, but if there's no club demand for him in Europe, I think the MLS could be a good place for him and look for other opportunities like setting up a club in the US, besides playing like what Beckham did.

Pretty sure a guy like him would love to cement his legacy that way.

Yes, that's a real choice for former world soccer stars. Going to MLS on the remaining abilities is a good choice, where they can still get a decent salary at the end of their career, certainly difficult in old age to compete in the top European league.

I have a feeling Man City will drop points away at West Ham, don’t ask me why, just a gut feeling.
Liverpool could drop points away at Watford too, also Spurs to beat Chelsea.

Very interesting weekend of football ahead of us.

I'm actually tempted to back West Ham with a small handicap, but yeah also predicting a Spurs win to break Chelsea's record. They're not playing badly at all, but they've just been quite blunt in attack minus Hazard.

Almost the same for Liverpool but they have other reliable goalscorers too even when our main front 3 aren't scoring. Still very high ratio of chances created per game so am not worried. It's a far cry from the Liverpool that hammered on doors but couldn't break them down. And VVD's volley against Germany? Say whaaaat.

If they play against the Citizens the way the did against Man Utd, then I can see them snatching some points tomorrow. That match against Man Utd was the best performance I've seen from West Ham this season, great display of defensive tactics, as well as good offensive football.

Liverpool could drop points away at Watford too
It could happen. Last game between both teams at the Vicarage Road ended 3-3.

No, it's possible, it's possible.  Grin

West Ham drew Chelsea, which is somewhat adjusting with Sarri's methods at the time, won vs United, no surprise there, and lost to the Spurs.  That's how they did vs top clubs.  With City, I just can't see it happenning.  0 - 2.

I believe Everton will be able to claim a victory against Cardiff City

With Sigurdsson back in training after picking up a small injury and therefore likely to start, and Richarlison being on good form and scoring for Brazil during the international break, Everton are looking like a strong side going in to this next run of matches. Everton are 4-1-1 in their last 6 Premier League games, including holding Chelsea to a draw, whereas Cardiff have only won 2 games all season - once against Bright as you say, and once against bottom place Fulham.

Should be an easy win for Everton.
