Crystal Palace are in danger of relegation currently they have 30 points just 2 ahead of 18th Southampton also they are in a poor shape losing 4 of their past 5 matches. While the visitors are in a very fine shape with them sitting in 4th place with 7 points ahead of 5th Chelsea and although they have played 1 game more. So they want to make themselves comfortable with to secure a Championsleague spot as early as possible so I think that this game will see a lot of action as both teams are looking for a positive results so I expect an over 2.5 goals from this event.

this week the big match is definitely Chelsea vs Tottenham!
Tottenham is without H.Kane and therefore Chelsea playing at home is clearly favored.
Chelsea also must absolutely win if it wants to try to get in the first 4 positions.
If Tottenham wins  would close the games for the Champions League qualification (the Chelsea would have an almost unbeatable 8-point gap)

Real Madrid are apparently interested in signing Salah over the summer transfer window. I just read that Liverpool have offered a new contract of 200k pounds a week to Salah but his manager has denied any concrete info on the matter saying they are still in talks with the club. I think Liverpool might end up selling Salah for a hefty sum in the summer. What do you think?

I don’t think there is any chance at all he goes this summer. He’s only been at Liverpool 1 season. Maybe next summer but no way this summer.
Moh Salah will probably stay at Liverpool in the next few seasons despite the many offers from wealthy clubs like Real Madrid and Barcelona. As a player, Moh Salah definitely wants to give his team first achievement so he will stay in the coming season and try again to win some competition along with his teammates because I am sure Moh Salah did not want to leave Liverpool without the memories of his wonderful achievements his team. That way, Moh Salah will continue to be remembered by the Liverpool fans.

Derby suffered a collapse in the second half of the league, this is now the destiny of the team, they have only one win in the last 10 weeks. But Sunderland's situation is not good either. Derby are one step ahead of the game.

Unless he has an amazing World Cup with Egypt, I doubt he'll go to Real Madrid (they always buy a player that stands out in the world cup). Also, if they don't want Kane (last year's top scorer), what makes you think they're gonna go after Salah? I think there are only 2 players in Real Madrid's wishlist from the EPL: Eden Hazard and David De Gea.

Rumors about David De Gea transfer to Real appeared something like 4 years ago, but he is still in MU. Why do you think it gonna to become truth now?

As for Kane, even with all his strong sides, I don't think he is a player of RM's format, so here I agree with you.

The rumours appeared something like 4 years ago, and since then the rumours appeard every year, then do you think if Real Madrid will not pursue De Gea again? or is De Gea still not moving clubs? Real Madrid still need a goalkeeper figure who can be consistent in the play. De Gea is the most appropriate choice and the most difficult choice to get.

My first EPL bets in a while...

West Ham (at home) to win vs Southampton +0 at 2.01.  Both clubs will obviously go at it to avoid relegation, but West Ham being at home could give them the edge.

Burnley (away) to win vs Westbrom +0 at 2.17.  What can I say?  It's Burnley, and I love Sean Dyche.  Grin

What do you guys think?

Even if they're at home West Ham can't really be relied to win it, I would be dicey over it.

I'm going to take a call on Everton beating City because of their record against City.

I also feel Chelsea will be on top of Tottenham without Kane they're a toothless tiger.

Manchester United to win comfortably against Swansea.

What do you'll think of this calls? Good or just sheer overconfidence.

Are you really serious with Everton beating City right now?  Lol.  Cheesy  Wanna bet on it?  10 bucks.

And Chelsea vs the Spurs could be close even without Kane.

Edit:  Thinking about it now...  I like to bet the draw on Chelsea vs Tottenham.

I think Liverpool will certainly renew the contract at Salah.
He should stay because his characteristics are enhanced with the Klopp type of game.
Liverpool next year is ready to win trophies.

Liverpool should be renew Salah contract because he has showing good performance this season but as far i know star players in Liverpool usually not last long that since Torres at the team until the recent transfer Coutinho they usually move to another teams and the price also so expensive however if Salah consistent i think i have to agreed with you that next season Liverpool will get at least 1 trophy

They did get him at a discount price. Wink
I am sure he will be asking for double that amount next season for them to keep him or he is off to a team that will pay him this much.
Because he has the top scoring title from this time onward until Kane comes back onto the pitch.

No games this week and all these games(the ones which were postponed due to weather conditions not being ideal to travel to the games) will resume next month from what they released yesterday on the EPL website.

Taking into account current marketing and TV payouts in EPL, I think Liverpool will able to find money for not repeating the mistake with Coutinho. If they are ready to spend nearly 80 mln for van Dijk and 65 mln for Naby Keita, it means Klopp and bosses want to build a long-year project with the highest goals. So a big part of the business will depend on Salah's decision - if he believes in prospects of Liverpool's future, it should be enough money for him to be satisfied. If he doesn't believe, it will be something like the situation with Coutinho, when there is no point to keep an unmotivated player in a team.

Just my own opinion.
Yes. All I ask is to not let him be wasted just like Arsenal did with Ashley Cole years back. Remember that season they went undefeated in the season? Cole could of stayed but they did not offer him enough so he packed his bags and went to where the money was in Chelsea. Even though he didn't want to, it was all because he didn't feel his abilities were being appreciated there with the pay they were offering him. Mo Sallah will feel the same way if he is the top scorer at the end of the season and they do not budget him for his talents.

all I can know of facts is that Liverpool cannot keep their players in Merseyside. Especially their rising Stars every time a player appears Real Madrid or Barcelona comes for shopping. We all remember Suarez Mascherano Xabi Alonso Owen and Coutinho recently so it will be diffecult for Liverpool to keep Salah more then two seasons they probably will manage to make him stay one more season but no more then that especialy if he still top performer and his performance don't get them any meaningful silverware. So be ready to See Salah in Real Madrid shirt somewhere near the future.
If Liverpool does not want to be abandoned by their star players then they have to make a feat in the near future so that star players like Moh. Salah can feel at home in the club for achievement with a club is a beautiful memory for all players and memories will not be forgotten by the player. Otherwise, if Liverpool does not want something similar to happen to the Moh. Salah, then they should be ready with a lucrative contract renewal offer to the player.

Its actually not the money but the desire that certain players want to leave whenever a big club like Real Madrid and Barcelona come calling. If its the desire of the player to leave and the club that wants him to spend any amount to get him, he will eventually leave.

Besides that having player in your rooster that have no desire to play for the club anymore is as good as being worthless. Even De Gea performance was much lower than what the club expected him to be after his move to spanish been denied. The summer transfer market is going to be great considering that alot of top player is going to move out of premier league
