It is always nice to see symphonized here with his stake signature that literally shows which direction the team is going Cheesy. They can't just close down a shop that has 500+ players at all times that is making them profits but they have spent millions of dollars on stake just for the name probably so I kinda understand the signature.

Primedice is our beloved tho, I have played on stake countless times but I will always come back to primedice for the dice gaming, I can't play dice on stake, it would feel like cheating to me. No matter how many challenges or promotions or giveaways stake will do, when I want to play dice I will come here. Lets hope that the number of players here doesn't transfer into stake too much because I am afraid that would mean slowly moving away from here and closing down here to focus on just stake.

So how is the jackpot funded exactly? Because it's a crazy large amount and it can make anyone super rich at the current BTC prices.
~

It's just not gonna happen, imo. Firstly, in order to win 100% of the jackpot, one has to bet with over 0.01 BTC, and betting with this amount you can lose hundreds of USD in a matter of minutes, even playing with 98% win chance. Proof:

I was betting with 0.00001001 BTC, with 98% win chance each time, and lost over 0.00006 BTC within 70 rolls. If I were betting with 0.01000001, I would lose over 0.06 BTC.

Secondly, this is a self reporting system, and if you don't pay attention to each roll, you are likely gonna miss it.

But of course, it's not completely impossible, and with the amount of users PrimeDice has, one day I may be wrong thinking "It's just not gonna happen". Smiley

And, yes, it's interesting to me too, how is the jackpot funded. I can see that every second a satoshi or two being added to the Jackpot, but from where does the money come from?

From my understanding the money in the Jackpot represent a percentage of the wagered amount, almost like the house edge each casino has. So every time a new player plays the game some of its betting money enters the Jackpot. The concept is analogous to how the Lottery works.

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
The chance to win the jackpot is really low.
There would be any reason to call it "The jackpot" if it was easy to win. If you think winning the jackpot is a cup of tea then you are mistaken.

Quote
The chance of rolling 77.77 for two consecutive times is (0.0001^2)=0.00000001=0.000001%
Even if someone does that, The prize depends on the bet amount. If the bet amount is lower than 0.0001 BTC, nothing will be awarded.
I think that jackpot will never be achieved.
For the sake of argument, some people had rolled this number and statistically speaking a roll with the same number coming twice is likely to happen every few weeks. But the problem is that many people had got the rolls under the zero bet or lower than minimum bet to be eligible for the jackpot. There is a minimum bet amount for that too, which if not rolled would give out a much smaller fraction of the total pot.

If they would be willing to take the risk then that is another question, but chances are that you could make more profits from just betting than thinking about rolling the jackpot amount.

Does a percentage of each loss get contributed to the fund just like the Bitmex liquidation emergency fund which grew to epic numbers.

I think it's great to have this even if it not really possible to win essentially but imagine if you took 2 bets where you actually hit the jackpot numbers but you only bet like 1 Satoshi for each bet and it wouldn't count. I would regret it for the rest of my life.

That's just gambling, they can't make it too easy either Wink You basically roll toward 100 million rolls and maybe you hit it once

Lol, I love how professional it is, primedice actually knows their customers, not like there are too many women or even some women but not feminists who would be disgusted by this are around here, I am a busty man for life but I would of course appreciate a good ass too, never would have imagined I would say this on primedice topic tho Cheesy.

Give me one hundred years and I still couldn't come up with a reason to say "I prefer bust over ass" on primedice topic, this turned out to be way more interesting than I imagined Cheesy. Keep up the fun stuff primedice, you have always come up with amazing new stuff that makes people give you attention before and you are doing it again, I am sure it will continue to happen for eternity as well as long as the team stays the same and not sell to another lame team.

Haha, same here, mate.  Cheesy

So, have you joined any of the crews yet? I can see that you are still hesitating on which one to join. ))

Anyways, I think we can add some activity there, maybe by posting (or even creating our own) themed memes or something?

And agree with you on PD team. It's amazing.

Wow, that's hilarious! I din't know those existed. I just joined the Busty Lovers Army (BLA). Request pending, but I hope they'll accept me. Now I have couple of questions regarding crews.

You said, I can make one of my own, but I can't see how can I create a crew?

As I can see, both current crews were last active more than a year ago. What does it mean? What do they do exactly?

Overall, I think it's a great idea. Only we should add more activity to this process.

I think you have to contact a mod, they have disabled individual creators, forgot to mention that.

The reason why the faucet abuse went on for so long is due to the extremely cheap prices for solving captcha's. Most casinos assumed that Googles captcha is pretty difficult to cheat, especially when you need to select buses or street signs instead of just typing letters. What they didn't realize is that there are services where there are people who are paid like $1/hr to solve captcha's non stop. They use this service along with some API bot and take a bet on 99x and eventually they will reach the min withdraw and repeat the process.

I think PD was losing like 20BTC a day in the past due to the abuse as far as I can recall. Hence this strategy is more bullet proof.

In the world of technology nothing is secured be it ranking on google, or solving it’s captchas the casinos should have known better and installed better security systems in place. These news promos are actually good for the industry as it’ll draw out gamblers who really wish to gamble, and genuinely discuss about gambling.
How in the hell people agree to solve captchas for 1 dollar per hour? Like seriously? Is that a job? That is like 12-16 dollars a day at max for literally non-stop captcha solving, even in the worst of countries you can find something better if you have even a bit of English. Hell you can make more money by just having an account here and on primedice as well and keep writing on both places, that doesn't even require too much skill.

I would like to believe there is no one doing that kind of job for that much money, there are so many options available now thanks to crypto being so easy to find a job. I was thinking there were bots that automatically solve those kind of captchas and let faucet abusers steal money from primedice, didn't know it was all human.

It's mostly either some kids who had nothing better to do or some people living in 3rd world countries where it was
Actually considered a steady income.

Right now I am pretty sure the demand is down for captcha solvers but during the 2017 days there was tons of work. It actually was dependent on time of day and there were multiple services which held these Captcha solvers. These were primarily used to do faucet abuse on any gambling site that had a decent faucet which in 2017 was plenty and also there were coins like Raiblocks which had a "Proof of human" algo and had tons of abuse also from these Captcha solvers.

So like the above poster said, in many 3rd world countries it's very difficult so if someone can make like $1 USD and it takes a few hours to do so they probably will. Since standard of living there is much lower than places like USA and Europe.

Gambling sites are usually the easiest targets in this because they know they got tons of money and losing a few bucks a day is nothing to them but it adds up in the end.

Believe it or not, I've seen people work their asses off for less than $1 per hour and they realistically called it a job. This is very common to 3rd world countries. Like they're literally earning $7 for an 8-hour work. The discrepancy between the rich and the poor for these countries are at extreme levels.

Sorry for being off the topic here and also, I didn't disagree nor debate with you. Just wanted to say the experience that I had in the past regarding the matter.

The promos and challanges are like a "Faucet 2.0". Basically it serves its purpose like a faucet however it filters out most of the people who will abuse the service.

The issue with the faucet was that there were too many people who weren't really gamblers, they never made a single deposit to the site and were just in it for the free money by risk-free gambling.

By having these promos it lets people who are actually interested in gambling and loyal to the website to get some type of "faucet" funds they can gamble with. So this filters out many of the people who would abuse the faucet without actually making a deposit.
Exactly, they basically made another faucet but called it not faucet so the bots and abusers would stay away, it requires a bit of work but nothing major and it is still quite easy to get free money from them, all you have to do is spend a bit of time. Hell, if I am not wrong they are giving away free money to people who post on their own forums as well, so you are still getting paid for basically writing (kinda like signature campaign) so it is not risking any money at all, it is not even risking too much time neither, just stops abusers and that's it, still gives people free faucets.

Of course, there must be some people who try to abuse even that, we can never have zero abusers but at least it could stop the most common ones and make the current ones work harder for it.

Yes it's still possible to have a few unethical people who will abuse the promos but it's very difficult and more human interaction is required so most faucet abusers will just quit.

The reason why the faucet abuse went on for so long is due to the extremely cheap prices for solving captcha's.
