AkCoinMiner is going crazy if you guys want to see some action on the HR tab, he's currently down 35 coins from +20 2 days ago or so.

edit: AKCoinMiner -69.84315641 and a huge loss in these bets:

Ow that's a rough night for a gambler, but when you play the odds sometimes you win sometimes you lose
It will be interesting to see however if he is able to recover from this position of loss and make a full recovery or not.
Got to worry about that variance.

Wow, I deposited 0.03 I earned over the past week to bet. When the deposit came I was fauceting and I ended up 2x'ing, lol. Is there a way to block incoming deposits while you go on the faucet waiting for your deposit to come? That way you can bet on the faucet without worrying about your BTC popping up and making an accidental bet like I did. I'm sure it's a problem for many.

Also, instead of a bank, can we have an "account balance", and then "bankroll". In JD we could use the "invest" option to store BTC while we play. It fixes so many problems, and eliminates the need for a "bank account".

My username on PD: Ejaculation you can check the bets, my deposit came and was immediately 2x'd lol.

I think I suggested this back in PD2, it would be extremely convenient.

I see why it would be a great idea, but right now they are working on the mobile version with high priority. I guess after that they gonna think about your idea.

Are people actually abusing the faucet? Is the payout really high enough to make it worthwhile?

Yeah they are, I don't think it is worth the effort though as we are doing our best to detect/ban accounts that try to abuse it. I think claiming once a minute is more than fair, doesn't stop people from trying to take advantage though.

Sorry for the radio silence the past few days in terms of updates/work. Main goal is still mobile/browser optimization which is a two bird one stone issue and our developer is prioritizing.
We're still trying to patch issues (particularly with autobet/sockets) and are making some progress with that and already uploaded a few patches with regards to those.

More to come soon.

A Great Time to Start Something!
FYI: Auto-bet is pausing (hanging) fairly often after a small number of rolls. Sometimes it recovers and continues, but often it just "dies" and the button eventually goes back to saying "Roll Dice". I opened a new tab (while the older was hanging) and checked to see that PD3 loaded without problem at the same time.

Overall PD3 is great, thanks.
Edit: For now, it is better and no one would notice what I reported, but it was happening "a lot" yesterday and part of today.

Are people actually abusing the faucet? Is the payout really high enough to make it worthwhile?

Sadly yes, people abuse the faucet any chance they get. The payout they would receive from doing this really isn't worth the time in my opinion, it would take a WHILE to reach 50ksats with only pvping every faucet claim.
Absolutely ridiculous. Couldn't one way to prevent it ( or at least make it harder ) be to implement a log in timer to the website for the same ip, like this forum for example? But rather than 45 seconds between every login, a good half hour would make it hell for the people abusing the system. Also it wouldn't affect the normal users because why would you need to relog once you're in?

The people doing the PvP abuse are probably using 2 different browsers and/or computers to do this, so making a relog timer wouldn't really fix anything.
2 different browsers / and or computers doesn't change the fact that the IP is the same if it's in the same household.

But the abusers can use proxies and log in multiple accounts with different IP.
There is a way to abuse the faucet on same ip to. You don't need proxies.
We're discussing a scenario that isn't reality at the moment.
Yes - today it's highly possible to abuse the faucet.

I can be on 2 different accounts at one time, without ever logging out of either of them, using 2 different browsers, so like i said, a login timer isn't going to solve anything lol

maybe im wrong but im pretty sure its people like this that got min tip raised, and maybe getting pvp raised. looks like blatent abuse to me

tongats (77.04) beats tongat (8.31) in a 0.00005976 BTC dice duel!

tongat (91.06) beats stongats (66.29) in a 0.00002988 BTC dice duel!

all the same guy. all 3 accounts i would think

PVP can be used to transfer funds from account to account.

If the account that wants to lose uses "L" as its seed and the one that wants to win uses "W" then L rolls 53.81 and W rolls 80.08.

If min tip got raised, min PVP should be too, because it's open to abuse in all the same ways.

Yeah i said the same thing , but they want people to be able to try out pvp with anything they have .
Luckily its easily noticeable when somebody is abusing it, since pvp outcome is public on pvp chat .

Probably a wise idea, though dueling at 0.5 could soon lead to some big losses  Grin. I'll battle you for 0.05 if I ever see you on  Cheesy.

Yea, I just hope that doesn't happen lol.
