Hey all,

After taking some heavy losses last night we're back up! As much as we love to see our players walking away with profit, it'd be lovely if some of you guys can start losing for once Tongue

I've set the max payout per bet at 1 BTC. This will be back to the normal 5 the moment this next batch of BTC comes in, which will be within the next few hours! So don't worry all the people who enjoy higher risk stakes.

Thanks for your patience everyone, it's a gret feeling when you've got people constantly messaging you asking for your service to come back online Smiley Will go ahead and credit all the people who posted their usernames prior shortly.

-Stunna

Is it this forum's username? or the username on the site primedice.com ? I want some free credit if you don't mind, but I haven't created an account on primedice.com

Where's that quote from, Dabs?  I never say no to free credit.  Username 'dooglus', most recently with address 1ProUdsaZNf82CZe2F1EA731wa9iuMeFQK.

I don't quite see the difference for the multiplier thing. Other than being presented differently (Under X/65,535 for CR or Over x/100 for PD)... works exactly the same way.

I guess the difference Zaih was referring to was about the presentation.  Having a slider you can drag or type into which updates all the numbers in real time is very slick, and a lot nicer to use than coinroll's interface, where you have to type the threshold over and over to get the multiplier you want.

In terms of provable fairness and transparency however coinroll is miles ahead.  It's even easier to verify than SatoshiDice, because I don't need a copy of the blockchain.  Coinroll makes their whole database of bets available for download, and I wrote a script which checks all the bets ever made on the site.

A plus for primedice would be that there's no minimum bet.  Coinroll won't met me bet less than a certain amount, whereas on primedice I can be a single satoshi if I want to.

Full disclosure: Namworld sent me a tip for the coinroll verification script I posted, but I remain unaffiliated (other than a small (and dwindling by the day) SDICE holding).

Yeh, exactly.

Oh, and as Doog pointed out, converting the 64000 to 0 - 100 is a lot better I think. A lot easier to understand if you like changing your odds a lot.

And yay back up.

Ah, sorry if it is seen as advertising, I was just arguing a bit against what you said about always losing on Coinroll.

Oh don't worry. I understand they're provably fair, I was just saying it felt like that. Sorry if I came off unfairly negative.

Small analysis of the data above:

After 1: 25.04% win vs 24.94% loss: 49.98% win chance
After 2: 25.33% win vs 24.66% loss: 49.98% win chance
After 3: 24.83% win vs 25.11% loss: 49.95% win chance
After 4: 25.89% win vs 24.05% loss: 49.95% win chance
After 5: 25.4% win vs 24.51% loss: 49.91% win chance
After 6: 25.36% win vs 24.58% loss: 49.95% win chance
After 7: 25.33% win vs 24.66% loss: 49.98% win chance
After 8: 24.73% win vs 25.29% loss: 50.02% win chance
After 9: 25.01% win vs 25.01% loss: 50.02% win chance
After 10: 24.73% win vs 25.26% loss: 49.98% win chance
After 11: 25.01% win vs 24.94% loss: 49.95% win chance
After 12: 25.29% win vs 24.62% loss: 49.91% win chance
After 13: 25.26% win vs 24.62% loss: 49.88% win chance
After 14: 25.29% win vs 24.62% loss: 49.91% win chance
After 15: 24.66% win vs 25.26% loss: 49.91% win chance
After 16: 24.66% win vs 25.29% loss: 49.95% win chance
After 17: 25.61% win vs 24.3% loss: 49.91% win chance
After 18: 25.47% win vs 24.41% loss: 49.88% win chance
After 19: 25.19% win vs 24.69% loss: 49.88% win chance
After 20: 25.01% win vs 24.9% loss: 49.91% win chance

How to read? So, you have won the last round, you want to know what the chance of winning after 5 spins is. So in the row: After 5, you see it's 25.4%. Was your last round a loss, then after 5 it will be 24.51%.

(this is done with winning with 50.00 and higher).

What does this show? Nothing, it's random.

Hey vlees, what does the 25% chances relate to? I know you've probably clearly explained it however I'm still a little confused. Shouldn't it be 50% win 50% loss after losing x amount irregardless? I don't see how the 25%'s come in is all.

Also Namworld, I understand your a large investor in Coinroll judging by the trust you gave them (regarding the 200 BTC investment or what not), but I don't think Stunna would appreciate you advertising on his thread. Then again I might be wrong, sorry Stunna if you don't mind ^_^

You can get under the verification page the database dumps of bets/deposits/withdrawals/accounts

The provably fair system is based on the blockchain tx and all betting history is provided so it can be checked that rolls match the site's secret, the last tx id of user and the nonce (incremented by one on each bet). It's almost as easily auditable as SatoshiDice bets, but without the need for a Bitcoin transaction on each roll.

Well I just got really lucky with coinroll.it and won 2.55 btc....personally I'm glad I won there and not here...I don't know why but this is the first "house" I actually feel bad that they've lost so much (Stunna). Truly great customer service here.

I ALWAYS lose with them. It's so weird, I lost like 0.2 BTC betting tiny amounts. To me it feels like their house edge is like 100%.

I also like PrimeDice since it feels like it has more soul and Stunna is a legend Tongue Coinrull's multiplier is also pretty boring, the one on PrimeDice is ingenious. Only thing Coinroll did better was fast rolls, but seems like Stunna sorted that out for us.

CoinRoll > SatoshiDice any day though.

Coinroll has been following more or less closely the 1% house edge. Bets do remain provably fair and the whole list of bets is public. Rolls are based on the account's last tx ID. Although when looking at individual users, some are average, some are very lucky and some are very unlucky. But for those with a very large amount of bets (thousands), it starts getting quite close to 1% edge.

I don't quite see the difference for the multiplier thing. Other than being presented differently (Under X/65,535 for CR or Over x/100 for PD)... works exactly the same way. To me PrimeDice and Coinroll are essentially clones.

Coinroll's provably fair system is better tho.

How can you see how individual users have done there?

Who says the house always wins? I wanted to try out PrimeDice especially after reading some of the comments. Guess I'll have to wait 48 hours.

Yeh 1% is tiny tbh. And despite the investigations on the prior page, proving their is no pattern & no bad functionality in the random script, I still am very skeptical of Stunna's RNG, I feel as if it's being abused.
