What we don't see is total deposits or total losses. So long as people lost 50 BTC or more today then paying out 50 BTC isn't a problem.

Also, I can deposit 50 BTC and withdraw them straight away. To you it looks like the site just took a beating whereas in fact I didn't place a single bet.

It doesn't matter which hash you use. Brute forcing a 160 bit secret takes on average 2^159 attempts, and so to expect to be able to brute force it within 24 hours you need the same number of hashes per second.

The chosen hash makes that easier or harder to achieve by being faster or slower to run, but the hashrate you need to achieve is the same for all hashes.

We highly doubt anyone was cheating, we made the switch to Sha512 as it was very simple to implement and more practical in the long run.

Also we've restored the maximum bet payout to 5BTC
