Benfica's players could understand such situation with Belenenses team and score 2 or 3 goals but they began this humiliation. they have experienced coach who could tell to stop scoring after 3 goals.

I do not totally understand what you mean that the clubs that dominate the league do not win by big scores. This is what I have noticed about Portugal Primeira Liga, most of the clubs do not always win big, they always end with just same draw, no score or just 1 goal range difference between the winner and the loser. But this go to other clubs not like the three dominant clubs which are FC Porto, Benfica and Sporting CP (except Sporting CP this time). These two clubs (FC Porto and Benfica) score very well, you can check their mactes played just of recent and see how they score big with especially FC Porto and Benfica.

There is no surprise in ninth week games. Benfica, Porto and Sporting beat their opponents but all of them were kinda weak teams. Benfica got the win in last minute goal, it may be an upsetting night for them if it wasn't Rafa Silva's goal. Sporting won by only one goal as well but they found goal early and wasted too many chances. Porto had a comeback, their early conceded goal couldn't stop them. Taremi made hat-trick in the game.
Estoril is the flash team this season, their next match will be pretty exciting. They will play with Benfica at home so that would be a real test for them. Estoril got their only loss from Sporting, coming from second league and being in fourth position after Big 3 is pretty bold move for them. Let's see how long this goes on.

First of all, FC Barcelona is no more a good club as it was always be before Lionel Messi left for PSG, Barcelona was always on the first 3 before, now they are at number 9 of the table. But it was yet a surprise for me to see Benfica won Barcelona in UCL but such club like Benfica should not be taking simple as they can win unexpectedly. Likely Benfica won the weak Barcelona might make their training to decrease after also winning many matches in their league leading to too much confidence but low training. I noticed Portimonense is not really good at home but it is not joking with away matches, and it was another surprise to see Portimonense won Benfica 1 goal to nothing, but Benfica is still leading the table by 1 point as of recent.

today Porto managed to snatch a win over Pacos de Ferreira which took the lead on 19th minute with goal from Nuno Santos. then two goals from Luis Diaz and Wendell helped Porto to secure the victory though Mehdi Taremi received late red card.

Sporting and Porto didn't make mistake in Friday games but Sporting only scored from a penalty in last minute against ten men Maritimo. Sporting got off cheap, they could've lost points at home against a team that couldn't even have a shot on goal. It was expected an easier game, in the end it's important to get three points though. Porto won a harder game at away with last minute goal again. Sergio Oliveira came from bench and twenty minutes later he saved Porto. Now all eyes on Benfica today against Vitoria Guimaraes, it won't be an easy game for sure.

Considering the results so far in the Liga Portugal, we have three big candidates for the title already as it seems. Benfica are the one that have been doing a great job in their games so far. They have won all of their 6 games and they are getting ready to end Guimaraes this evening. Even though they have one missing game, they are the leading team in the standings. Porto and Sporting both got two draws and won the rest of their 7 games. Porto are at the 2nd place and Sporting are the 3rd. It looks like this season will be really great to watch as we can see a superb competition for the league title. This time, Sporting may not have a very comfortable season like they had last.

The Primeira Liga is so good that they are able to groom players from their very young age and turn them to professionals ready for topclubs and big leagues in Europe and England. A typical example is Joao Felix who moved from Benfica to Atlético Madrid, Ederson who joined Manchester City from Benfica. Also Diego Dalot from Porto to Manchester United. The striking thing about the Primeira Liga is that their transfers always makes news headlines. When the next transfer window opens, I'm hoping to see big transfers from FC Porto , Benfica and Sporting Clube de Portugal.
