What a luck win for Sporting against Maritimo they bearly won from a penalty in 98th minute just lucky. It was expected from Sporting to dominate the entire match was expecting a much easier win from them today but in the end they bearly won .
@Joca97 Sporting haven’t shown great form in the earlier draw, and yesterday despite showing intent they had to wait till the end to win, and this is something they should quickly address. Also I strongly feel that Benfica will win this game based on their current form, and it’ll be a big upset if they lose against Vitória Sport Clube.

I think that this time, Sporting won't be able to win the title easily like in the last season. Now, Porto and Benfica are playing much better compared to last season. Benfica are the current leader also. This time, we might see a different champion but it is early to say of course. Let's observe the season till the half of it and then start becoming sure about something.
You are right, it is too early to conclude that a particular club will win the league this season, there are only just three games played and there are still many games that will be played. But like I have previously commented before, this Portugal Primeira Liga is not that so competitive enough, as Sporting CP just lose a single game at the start of the season, the chances that Benfica or FC Porto to win the league this season has gotten higher as the winner do win many consecutive matches before losing at all, also as we know the winning if the league will not go beyond these three clubs. 
Sporting got Pablo Sarabia from PSG on loan at deadline day. They also give Nuno Mendes on loan to PSG for 4m € fee and 40m € future transfer fee. That would surely boost Sporting's chances, Sarabia is a top class midfielder. I think they used Nuno Mendes transfer as leverage and got Sarabia on loan. This season they can use him in Portuguese League and Champions League. He can play as right winger or attacking midfielder. The only problem for Sporting to me is their striker role, they have only Paulinho there. If he gets injured or booked his alternative is 19 year old Tiago Tomás. Season is too long, in the long run they have to use an unorthodox forward in striker role or even play without striker based on opposition. I think they will get another striker in Winter transfer window. They can't play with only 2 strikers whole season long.

And I agree with you that the problem in the current team is the limited number of strikers, but on the other hand I think that Ruben Amorim has another strategy about this, the most likely being to play Bruno Tabata in the striker position who in fact he is an attacking midfieldder if it happens Unexpected Things, Or it could even play Jovane Cabral, who incidentally is a winger

Sarabia deal is good because he played in the high level and champions league and can play even as a striker if its needed i ve seen that both porto and benfica has a stronger squad compared to sporting with some experienced and high level players so it will be a though season.

Benfica had a big difficulty in winning against Tondela in their last game even though they definitely dominated the game. Tondela ended the first half 1-0 ahead. Benfica increased the number of their attacks in the second half and managed to find the equalizer in the 71th minute. When I saw that their second goal didn't come for at least 10 minutes, I started thinking like that was it and it was going to end 1-1. It would be a really lucky point for Tondela. However, Benfica finally scored in the 88th minute and succeeded in winning 2-1. Now, they are maintaining their lead with 4 wins in 4 games.

One thing about Portugal Primeira Liga is that once one of the strongest club (Benfica, FC Porta and Sporting CP) start to lose, the chance that such club can win the league that season is low because the other strong clubs continue to win as the league is not that competitive. Famalicao tried and manage to make sure Sporting CP did not score in the first half of the match and was able to score first in the second half. I did not watch the match but to be the away team can be difficult, I still know that Sporting CP would have tried their best and scored in the 82nd minute, but just that they were unable to win. About today's game, there is no doubts about Benfica win and I expect that it will be quite big.
