Anything is possible, the points gap between Porto and Sporting is very small (6 points) with 13 games remaining. Yes porto run this season was perfect so far no loss in this first half it is really impressive they won against their title contenders a six points gap is not impossible to overcame and the first step is for sporting to beat them but with the state of both teams and the performance they are showng i don't see sporting winning.

It may not be impossible to reduce the gap by 6 points. But it is not easy. Because Ajax has not lost any match yet. They have drawn only 2 matches and lost 4 points from 2 matches. Maybe Sporting will be able to win all their upcoming matches. But there is no guarantee that Ajax will lose 6 points in the upcoming matches. They are a very strong and stable team.

Porto had an incredible series. The guys don't even draw, they win all their matches. When Sporting lost to Braga at home things got messy. Moreover, in the match in which they took the lead, they first conceded a penalty and then lost with a last minute goal. It was a very dramatic ending. It's very difficult to stop Porto after this time. The league is a long marathon, but they don't seem to lose any points.

I wouldn't say they are the undisputed champion as there are a lot of matches to go but what you can say is that their chance is a lot higher than other teams, right?
Porto are only 6 points above sporting which is the biggest of gaps for sporting to recover. But what I can say is that Porto have a better chance of winning, not undisputed.

Benfica have started making important mistakes and this is causing them to go away from Sporting and Porto in the standings now. They were really close to them for so many weeks in the league but they have lost their good form. They will just hope for those two teams to struggle and stumble against their future opponents. And Benfica will have to continue to win. But I don't think that they will catch the two teams on the front. We will see another competition for the league championship between Porto and Sporting.

Today Benfica surprisingly dropped points against Moreirense, game ended 1:1. Moreirense scored first, but they enjoyed lead not for long, Benfica made score 1:1 just after 4 minutes.
This unexpected result may cost expensive for Benfica. Their main rivals will play against weak teams, Sporting will face Vizela, Porto against Belenenses, so it's great chance for them to increase gap from Benfica.

Agree about it, when top 3 teams play against underdogs, odds is such low usually.
Today Porto made nice comeback. Interessting that game winning goal was scored by Francisco Conceicao, son of Porto manager Sergio Concencao and it was his first goal for Porto in Primeira.

That was definitely a close goal, but also shows that Porto is dangerous until the last minute. I guess it is good for them that they still have some capable contenders and they feel the pressure to take those three points home. It is also demoralizing for those hunting them in the table. A big point also from a moral point of view.

Porto had a hard time playing against Estoril today. Am quite impressive with the way Estoril played in the first half. They scored 2 goals. Although, they couldn't defense the winning. While Porto were lucky enough to secure 3 goals in the second half, and probably got the 3 points from Estoril. The result showed how superior Porto is in the Primeira Liga.

However, Porto have played 17 matches so far in the League and still remains unbeatable. It clearly that they have high chances of winning the Primeira Liga trophy this season.

Meanwhile Benfica will play against mid table Pacos De Ferrerira.

Porto bearly won 2-3 against Estoril. Estoril leaded 2-0 and 1 goal was disallowed due to VAR and Porto made a miracle comeback in the second half and won 2-3 and now are 3 points ahead of Sporting that drop some really important points.

This was a historical game I believe. Because Santa Clara never lost to Sporting in their home games in their history until today. And they made history today by defeating Sporting by 3-2 home. Even though Sporting got ahead two times in the game, they still couldn't prevent Santa Clara from becoming the winner. Sporting actually played better than their competitor in terms of the effort made. But Santa Clara were better about taking advantage of the goal chances. And this is a big hit to Sporting as there is a chance for Porto to make the point difference three if they beat Estoril tomorrow which seems difficult but not impossible. Grin
