For me its life sentence because only god can judge him. Because even if he commet a big sin only god can get our life.
They should be placed in an environment of much bigger rapists, and let nature take its course. Of course the bigger rapist also deserves something bad. But yeah, rapist should get what they dished out.
I agree with the death penalty For the case is: yes, I agree. But, the hearts of my childhood rather tersentil. If the death penalty actually “”enough to give a deterrent to the perpetrators ( and predators sexual still roaming outside there )? 
Death Sentence should be their punishment.
Rapist deserved death penalty by hanging o shoot in the head. They are not deserve to live. If you send them in jail the government just spending money for rapist. Its useless. Its better just kill them.

In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.

Death is too easy. I think rapists should be imprisoned until they die without parole. They should be in the general population in jail with other criminals who hated rapists to be with them in the same joint. Imagine the hell he will experience everyday while other inmates can do whatever they like, either beat him or kill him. I think thats the best punishment for rapists. Or if not. Just cut their dicks and balls so that they will never have to use them forever. Haha
Cut the dicks of the rapist. And let them live their full life without having sex. He cannot even masturbate. I think we cut the dicks of a rapist. They will take away their own life.
The penalty should be death, a slow painful death so it will set an example to the people to think twice before commuting such offense. Theres alot of place that people can pay for sex and fulfill their sexual pleasure. Most Rapist are drug addicts and with mental health conditions.
Every country has their own concepts and beliefs in terms of the punishment "suitable" and "justifiable" for rapists. Many countries, however, have already set death penalties for rapists because it really ruins one's life and his/her family as well. A rape victim is put in such position that it would be hard for the person to move on with her/his life without being reminded of the trauma he/she has experienced. Also, to rape someone, I think, there is no justifiable reason for someone to do it, but only his selfish motives, and he should definitely be punished heavily for it.

The best punishment for rapist is mutilation their genital. But i think that is fair too if the rapist punished with death penalty, like hanged them in public. Because their behavior is harm and damage another people's life/ future. It's not fair for victim if they married by the rapist. Marrying the rapist just ruined the victim's life.
Effect of the rape as a sexual abuse is really take effect for the victim. Because of the rapist, the victim's mental down and they are very shame to enter their the socialty.
I think rape is a crime that is unforgivable. Just imagine if this happens to your sister, mother, or anyone from your family. It would make you feel really bad. They need to be detained and that they can get out of jail or a death penalty or executed. So they start generating repeat victims. Rape is a brutal crime and a death penalty should be declared once the rapist is convicted. In earlier times rape was not considered a major crime. The highest degree of punishment that could be given to the convict was imprisonment for seven years This was possible only when the culprit was arrested and proved guilty. But after few brutal incidents, an act of rape is liable to life-long imprisonment and even death penalty in extreme cases. According to the new law, not only rape but other acts like sexual harassment, molestation, acid attacks, stalking and voyeurism are also liable to stringent punishments. The new law has the provision of awarding minimum 20 years of rigorous imprisonment, which can extended to life imprisonment to those found guilty of gang-rape.

What if the girl gets pregnant and she is scared to tell her parents she had sex, so she claims to be raped?
The life of a girl comes with so much hope, a smile and a great value. Think how many days his parents suffered to make him happy. A girl's parent will do something to make her life successful and give her a great future. Suddenly a bastard came and raped her. How many lives have he destroyed? more than 3 life Girl, her mother and father. How can law restore the business they have spent on girls' lives? It is impossible! Time, effort, money, sacrifice can not be recovered. So the rape must be stopped. Conducting the punishment should be given. The only punishment is the death penalty.
In my opinion the punishment should be life imprisonment or death penalty depends on how heavy the crime committed. The traumatic effects of rape are far-reaching and cannot be quantified. Rapists destroy lives of an innocent people.
The men doesn't realize how damaging rapes can be to a woman. It permanently destroys her confidence and in certain regions around the world rape victims are ostracized and discriminated against. And worse still, there will be people who blame the victim for her ordeal. In many cases, the victim never recovers and suffers from suicidal tendencies and mental disease.

Harsh punishment should be given to rapist. It is disgraceful not only for women but also for society.
