Better if death penalty in a public places so that all will all evil one will have fear to do such thing.
In my opinion the punishment should be life imprisonment or death penalty depends on how heavy the crime committed. The traumatic effects of rape are far-reaching and cannot be quantified. Rapists destroy lives of an innocent people.
There are many arguments which support this law and some arguments which oppose such a law. Well proponents of the argument that child rapists should be sentenced to the death penalty say that children who have been raped usually live a life of torment, the become victims of the torment themselves. These kids often turn to drugs and alcohol to help them get through their lives effectively. This condition can also worsen for them if they have to face or see their tormentor on a regular basis. Hence by making the death sentence as the price you pay for raping children, a vivid message is sent to the perpetrators. Moreover the offenders or rapists very rarely change their abusing habits and research shows that around 98 percent of them reoffend; hence the death sentence makes sense.
Death penalty is a must for those who have been proven guilty. Rape is even worse than murder. Do you think enjoying the evil pleasures at the expense of the true sacrifice of the sacrifice? It is said that when a person is punished by the death penalty, it is done not to get justice but to take revenge; or demanding an eye for the wrong eye. But what about the victim? Does not he demand justice for what has been done to him? The life of a rape victim is a living hell. The victim will never be able to remove this incident from his life. He has to live with it. Rapists who have taken the spirit of a person to live, have no right to live alone. Hanging brings your life in a while but rape kills you every time you think about it.
In India for the past few years there are many rape incidents happen and there are no safely young women in this country. The rapists are not even punished and are left freely. I do not know how will the victims lead their life after such incident has happen in their life. In some countries, the rapists are let off freely if they marry the victim. In some countries, the rapists are given death sentence.
According to you, what can be the best punishment for these rapists so that no one else should think of raping a women. I like the punishment which is given in most of the Muslim countries - hanged to death in public. Do you think that this is fair or they should marry the victim???

I think the rapist should be raped so that he/she could understand the physical and physiological effect rape has on the victim. Then they should be brutally put to death.
Castration
That would be easy for them. Rapist who get away with their crime will soon rape another. Cut their penises and legs and arms and let them live if they can. Or the government can blind them but also provide them a rope if they want to hang themselves after it. I think this is a better punishment for such crime.
I believe that the punishment for rape is death penalty. But before that, I want the rapist to suffer in a slow and painful death (cutting his genitals and peeling of his skin).😈😈
Hanging to death is the only punishment to a rapist who also murdered and killed their victims or just simply cut their penis off o rmake them impotent.Its a better way to punish them so that others may be scared of doing something brutal.
I don't think society needs people like that so it should definitely be death or at least lifetime imprisonment

Death penalty for them , even a child ages 1 or a 6-9 month old have been raped with those people who don't have conscience. I am angry for all the rapists !you all deserve to be in jail and have a death penalty.

I think a lifetime punishment is enough for the rapist..
Death, no two ways about it, serving jail-time isnt a good enough punishment to rapist, i so hate men that could even have such thoughts in their mind, if you cant control yourself or you love sex so much you can get married that might help, if it doesnt then its better you even cheat with other ladies, Hire a hooker if you want, But please and please dont rape someone, So yes DEATH should be the best punishment for rapist

That is not enough. If we follow that law it will give the rapist to do and do and do again that immoral act. I'm against of death penalty because only god can get our lives but if this is the one to lessen or stop the rapist then go. Women do not deserve to be treat like that. We must respect each other to have a peaceful country. So, death penalty is the only solution to solve that crime and to give justice to all the victims of rape.
The rapist's panishment was for a while to suffer the consequences of thier offense ,not in the hands of our own.
I think the best way to prevent these rapists is to have a law to castrate anyone who rape.

In this case, I have to agree with you. For a woman, rape is even worse than death. So the punishment which should be given for a rapist must be more harsh than the one which is to be given for the murderers. I like your suggestion of constant torture. What about locking up the convict in some remote penal colony, where he has to work for 16 hours a day?
