You are having a wrong impression about the punishment of rape under the Islamic law. In Islamic nations, less than 1% of the actual rapes are reported. This is due to the fact that if they are reported, then the victim is more likely to face the punishment than the perpetrator.

I dont think i have a wrong impression as you said. I just have not presented my reasoning the way you presented yours. Or better yet i am not understood. 😊😊

I think that's an absurd idea, who would marry someone who raped them. I think the best way to punish rapist is just like the
old times, in the past punishments were brutal. It's somehow effective it scares everyone to commit a crime.

I think the right punishment for a rapist is by castration, by castration their lust will be reduced. But if the rape was done in a cruel way, I'd like to live a life sentence and not be shot dead or hanged, imprisoned for life I think it's a very torturous punishment and it's fitting for them.
