I wouldn't invest in this coin even if he did sign on. Perhaps a situation happened and the situation disallowed him to sign back on? Hopefully he is feeling alright.
The money is fine, his health is what matters most. It is a real shame to see people so worked up over a few bucks.

It's a very recent codebase - so it's absolutely no walletbuilders coin and also segwit compatible (not turned on yet) - IF the dev has skills, he could enable segwit and a few other features/enhancements as well and make this at least something special.
There's also no premine .. Interesting what will happen.
