The timeserver sync and check on Windows is amazing! And very intriguing.
Only problem I'm having is I've installed both the Windows EXE files from the latest github release, Qortal (the app 1.3.5) and the current UI. Running the UI and the app is no problem. It does use a lot of memory but I got memory to spare!
I just am stuck synchronizing the app at 68% but it says on the UI that I am stuck at just short of 60,000 blocks.
I have peers connected, are there ports I need to let through my firewall? Also my windows notifications said I received a message from a Qortal user when I ran the client first last night and I can't find it anywhere in the UI.
The UI still has a few little bugs... such as the bug you're mentioning now...
I would suggest...
- kill the UI
- Wait for the core to be 100% synchronized.
- restart the UI
See if the caching issue is resolved.
(This is literally just an issue with the UI caching the incorrect block height, and not displaying correctly, as long as when you mouseover the blue Q icon on the taskbar, and it says 'synchronizing xx% - height - xx,xxx' you're good, just let it finish to 100%.)
When it gets fully sync'd the icon on the taskbar, upon mouseover, will say 'not minting - height - xx,xxx', at which point you're sync'd. THEN start the UI, and you should be good.
Once you're sync'd and account created, go into 'communications - Q-chat' and send a message in 'Qortal General Chat' and I will send you some QORT so that you can register your name on the chain, and potentially join whichever groups you may be interested in joining on the chain.
You can also send me a PM on-chain by going to 'new chat' and sending to 'crowetic', and message me.
Giving it another go tonight - I hope I can sync.
