If you can buy the coin which has good quality and it's low price, then that is good because sometimes, the good coin will have an expensive price so we can feel that it is not good to buy. But I am sure that there is a coin which has the quality and the price is not too expensive so we can buy that coin. But bitcoin has that quality and price, and we should purchase bitcoin no matter if the price now reaches $7400 price level.
Quality will be best option for investing on alts because prices are unpredictable and not stable, but if the project has quality i.e having a service to offer or built on a standard basis and have something useful to offer will be much better than unrealistic price,
a project with utility will weather any storm and still manage to retain it's price because of the demand for it than a plain project with nothing to offer other than artificial price pump.

Both are very important to me. I won't buy a coin that price is cheap but no product launched! Therefore I won't buy that quality coin that price dumped highly and the team is becoming silent. You can't ignore any of these two reasons. But a quality coin that has the active team and working roadmap but price dumped highly, then still I will go and buy that, for example, the Matic coin!
in my opinion, if you want to make a safe investment, invest in a top altcoin. that is to say, that altcoin is already guaranteed regarding its development. however, the quality of altcoin is already very good, in contrast to altcoin which is not in the top altcoin row, the development of the coin is still not necessarily good. however this is only a suggestion, and my suggestion is to have ethereum, or a binance coin.
im looking for coins with good reputation such as (sia,xlm,dash,etc,ada, many others..) .. and looking on the chart
if the chart shows that its in the middle of red momentum im just buying every month so i have diversified portfolio and not trading
just holding it until there is a good momentum in the altcoins
selling for usdt or btc when there is a negative crossover
and then waiting ..
you always have few months of bull market then few months of bear market
just observe.. learn to read MACD, Momentum, RSI, Moving Averages
in a bear market - learn as much as you can and invest a little amount of fiat every month (that you can afford to lose)
always have a strategy for the summer and for the winter

Quality came from trust and price is just symbol, low price it doesn't mean has no potential to grow up. You need to see this part clearly because in my experience Altcoin/ project with good concept and system has bigger chance to survive. People will see price and volume and that's not wrong but we also know price and volume created from quality. I think coin have the highest potential to make you success, survive until now is good reputation.

Price has no say in the matter whatsoever. I think what you are referring to is probably fundamentals vs market capitalization. The nominal price of an altcoin does not necessarily determine the market capitalization, because of the fact that the circulating supply can be significantly different from coin to coin.
I'd say that fundamentals are always more important.
That's because it determines LONG TERM growth, not just short term growth or indicates dominance in the market in the very short run. I'd highly suggest that you do thorough research on the long term prospects of a coin alongside TA and other things.

I can not make a definite choice among them, and I would even evaluate each one of them depeding on situation. But I value the more reliable top coins lately.And if you can give me some idea too to where I can research project development statistics and quality of altcoins.

actually there are other options, but because there are listed here I prefer this, and of course if you choose this you have to be patient because there is no instant to develop a project, especially in the crypto industry and also I believe there are still many people who certainly have a similar stance.

even the coin is in the bottom as long as they continue the development it will be worth something in the future
but you also need to look if the coin has a good purpose and it needs to have something unique
you also need to look if the coin is undervalued and have a lot of room to grow
if all criteria are in the coin in my opinion it will be worth investing.

With time and study, you'll notice that you can loose a lot of money if you invested in a lot of coins without any criteria, because with time, some coins will die, lose more than 50% in a short period of time...
With a good coin you can be more confident and with time you'll have a good portfolio, with a few coins, but less risk

Well both of them have pros and cons. Personally, with the worsening market conditions, I prefer those in the top ten. But I chooses some below just to play around and see how it goes.

Well everything is in the web right now. So you can just research or what we call DYOR here.
Such of like everyone top currency is good quality if you can invest in right time basically everyone holders want good profitable then their choice high development currency. So no need to worry for mention that go cmc and search best currency for your holding.
New altcoins will be the most profitable more than old altcoin projects unless they don't introduce something very different, many altcoins are bad to say the truth but few new projects are better
I normally invest in at least 2 altcoins at the same time out of which one will be a top ranking altcoin which is underrated like Tron, ADA etc and the other one will be a new altcoin which has a proven development team and a good concept. Top ranking altcoins will be profitable during bull run and new altcoin requires good concept and little bit of luck. I would suggest to go with one each.

Actually quality and price will be my choice in choosing altcoin, I have altcoin which currently may not have a good price / under ICO price because it is still listed on exchanges that have a small trading volume, but good product quality will always affect the price, both now or in the future, because there is no instant when new projects register their tokens in exchange, there are always down price and will go up when many people want their products
Remains dependent on daily volume and is connected to the main market that trades the coin. Quality is more important because prices always adjust to BTC trends. If apart from the things I mentioned means it requires a different strategy because the coin volume tends to be very low, it takes longer to see profits because it will only monitor how much the quality of activity of their community, and also the development of the project.

It's very tempting to buy coins that are low rank with constant development, but there's a risk involved because we never know if it will gain enough support to get into the top, whereas coins that are on top are more secured because they have already had community support, you really need to study your option, I prefer investing on top coins in the market.

For investment, quality. But for daily trading, price and quality. If we trade low price coin for day trading, especially with high volume, will be easier for the coin to get high amount of percentage in profit, but in case the coin pumped. For me, both are really important, every strategy we should know to get profit in trading activity.
