It's it's hard to quit any form of addiction not just gambling alone, unaddicting yourself from an habit takes a lot of conscious effort, you must do your possible best to make sure you don't relapse. Quitting gambling isn't as easy as a lot of people think, it's easier said than done. As a gambler I can remember how many times I have told myself that I wouldn't get involved in it but I still find myself going back to it. The best way to stop gambling addiction is to start slowly, don't rush into figuring how you are going to quit instead limit the time you spend on it and also reduce your stakes. After a while you'd lose interest in it.
Perhaps this is the true way to get rid of gambling addiction. However, this option of self-limitation in the size of bets and reducing the time spent playing helps some players, but only if the gambling addiction is just beginning or is very weak. But this all definitely depends on the mental characteristics of a particular player. And this option of giving up games will not be able to help if the gambling addiction is strong and the patient cannot be cured of it without special treatment.
It all depends on the addicted gambler in question, if the gambler is ready to get out of addiction, no matter how strong it is, he can achieve it with the help of his loved once since he knows that he cannot make profit out of gambling and is only chasing his illusions,  but be ready to let go of all his losses.

However, there are some gamblers that don't accept the fact that they are addicted, such gamblers will be hard to help, because they will not succum to it. Some gamblers know that they are addicted but because they have lost so much to gambling and have become frustrated, they feel cheated and don't want to stop gambling because they still believe that someday, they can win back everything that they have lost. This is the worst set of gamblers, because they prefer to die in their addiction.
The problem is really the player's self-esteem in the question of whether he is addicted to gambling or he thinks that such an addiction does not exist and he can get rid of such a passion for the game at any time, as soon as he wishes. Some players do not admit their addiction even when everyone around them clearly sees that outside help and treatment for addiction are required. But such a person simply does not take seriously serious warnings from his loved ones and continues to play, although in practice he cannot stop.

To me I don't think gambling addiction is hard as the way most of you take it to be . It all about your mindset though you have the ability to stop yourself from that addiction, many folks do stop gambling due to countless losses. While some is due to winning big, but just have this mindset that you're gambling for the fun not the money , and there's time for everything, so set time , you can gamble whenever you are free and always know when to stop to avoid going over board or going beyond your budget.

For an addicted gambler, quiting gamble can be hard for them unless they encountered their worst experience like losing their whole life saving on gamble. However, many gamblers can not stay long enough to tell their losses story on how they lose their savings, so they end up taking their life by themselves.

I still support you guys.
The more we stay in a casino that's the more we lose money, so for a gambler to reduce his chances of becoming addicted to gamble in future the gambler need to spend little time gambling.

Quitting gambling can be easy for some and can be impossible for some, but to me it's very normal that a man can let go of any harbit he is into including gambling if he is not addicted, because it's only when a person is addicted that it's impossible to stop, even when he is seeing the negative effect it's having on him. So in a situation where the person is addicted, for him to be able to quit gambling, he needs to get engaged with an activity that he fancies more than gambling, so it's not really an easy task to do if you are a gambling addict.
Unfortunately, for some players who are initially prone to developing a gambling addiction in a strong stad, which can be considered a mental illness, it is simply impossible to give up gambling without the help of specialists in the treatment of such addiction. This can sometimes be compared to a deep stage of drug addiction, when a temporary cessation of drug use at some point still ends with a patient's breakdown and the beginning of a new cycle of drug use, even despite the substitution of methadone or similar treatment with powerful chemicals.
By the way, this treatment itself is very traumatic for the patient and can even lead to irreversible changes in the psyche on the verge of losing common sense by this patient. Treatment of gambling addiction is often forced to be done by specialists using a similar method. Of course, this is done in some very difficult cases of such treatment and is expensive, so not all gamblers can afford it.
Indeed, forced treatment can cause irreparable harm to the brain of an addicted gambler. Treatment must be careful and gentle, and the player himself must at least want and wish to be cured a little, otherwise everything will be in vain. The minimum desire is the beginning of the path to healing because the player should not think that everything will happen by itself, this will also require significant efforts. And even when he goes through the entire course of treatment, of course, he can break down.

Nevertheless, I always believe that the player must understand his mistakes himself, this is real and the most effective method, the only question remains how to lead him to this.
It is also impossible to achieve this simply by persuasion, scandals and instructions from relatives and friends. I think that the realization that such a player is definitely diagnosed with gambling addiction and that he definitely needs to be treated comes to such a player from somewhere inside himself. And persuasion from other people can certainly help such a thought to appear in the head, but only slightly. It rather happens simply as a flash in the brain. Or as enlightenment, you could say. And this thought will only work to remove gambling addiction when it is truly born in the player's head something like this.

When we are dependent on something then stopping is clearly not easy including gambling because there is nothing easy in this especially when we are in a state of dependence and stopping it quickly then it is clearly very difficult.

But on the other hand, everything depends on the intention because indeed stopping gambling or stopping anything can all be done if the intention is really to stop and not halfway so that when trying to talk about whether or not the answer lies within ourselves considering that this is a matter that needs to be resolved by ourselves because although other factors such as the closest person or treatment to a psychiatrist can also affect but the focus is clearly on the will so that no matter how difficult it is we can still survive and stop from gambling (gambling addiction) that is done.

Like programming a machine, refocusing the mind. Instead of shutting it down, you're installing a new operating system that prioritizes work and handles data differently. Transformation, not substitution, is the solution. Finding what fascinates the mind as much as gambling is necessary. This music? Art? Fitness? Coding? Whatever it is, it must be followed with similar fervor as gambling. Enhancing the mind's palette is the goal, not replacing one focus.

And its gradual. There's no overnight answer. Rewiring the brain's reliance becomes easier with each day without gaming. Progress, not perfection, should matter. Growing new interests helps the mind let go of gambling, leading to a better, more balanced life.

It was purely based on the every gamblers, because I had some friends who can able to control their game in the gambling site.It mean they will play if they like yo play or they quit on their demand. But if the gambler had loss the funds, surely they get addicted to the gambling site. The selective addiction will it affect the life of the human being, but addiction to the drugs, gambling and criminal activities will leads to the big loss to the gamblers in the real life. The gamblers some time get addicted to gambling like they get addicted to the music,it’s very hard for the gamblers to get away from the gambling addiction. It will take huge time to get away from the process.

It is something difficult when it comes to quitting a particular addiction, when the addiction exists it is not easy to quit, nor can it be cured overnight, I am not an expert, but I know that each person assumes their own way of doing things. And depending on your personality, you can generate different ways of healing, if you are a determined person who has a lot of control over himself, you will get out of that problem a little faster, but in general, addictions harm, harm the person in general. or financial, in friends and lastly in their family, for the reason that when the person dedicates themselves to detoxification it is very difficult according to the degree of addiction they have.

It is not easy when it comes to gambling addiction, I have seen what the detoxification of a drug addict is like and that is something impressive, it is very strong and very hard for the person, sometimes there are some who can't stand it and they have to to look for the drug once and for all, for alcohol things are also very hard, but they have to do things to overcome it, but always in the hands of professional people, because they are the person's reactions, some become desperate, they hit themselves, Many things happen that are quite strong, just in the movies that sometimes happen, one realizes that the detoxification process is the strongest step of the person.

Now, I have not had the opportunity to see a person who has been addicted because I wonder what their detoxification process was like. I have seen that in order to overcome they exclude themselves from the casinos, but that is a drastic decision, but perhaps due to the They went through a lot, because they don't want to fall into that again, I think that this addiction has a lot to do with when the person is not capable of having their own control of emotions or anything, it is something hard, but I think it is is the real reason.

Good for you then, I mean most of us probably should quit gambling not really completely for sure but at least just gamble moderately and of course responsibly is already enough I guess, as long as you dont really play where it is excessive it is still a good past time for some and might as well entertainment for people. I dont really gamble a lot but I really think that gamble doesnt really do anything that is good, for sure you could really earn a huge amount if you are really lucky but it would just make you an addict if you get deep into gambling to the point where you are already playing just to win the game and earn money that is when it gets out of control for sure people because you are starting to put money and money on it because you expecting to win already which could be a bad thing leading you to risk more and more money that should not be a risk, or probably just making wrong decisions instead of just investing it and putting it to a much better investment than gambling.

In the first place, we should not treat gambling as a source of income, it already discusses multiple times, that gambling has a really big risk, and putting money on it could easily destroy you, let's just say that it is difficult to make a consistent source of income on it because winning has a concept of luck, so it is almost impossible to always win, at some point your going to lose the game, or probably going to lose more often than winning.

Diverting attention by looking for other activities to get our minds used to not thinking about gambling is one of the easiest things for a regular gambler but it will be very difficult for gambling addicts because gambling addicts need lots of ways to stop gambling.
getting used to prioritizing other things that are more positive for me is very good because without stopping gambling if we have limits and know when is the right time to gamble and when is the right time to stop gambling and in various ways I think this method is better because having these limits provides a lesson for us to be able to stop gambling at any time to appreciate the small wins or big wins we are experiencing.
Well, if we are to be frank, there is no better way a gambling addicts get free from gambling addiction if they don't find a way to get their minds off gambling to focus on some other activities they are also most interested in.
To understand more clearly, I think we should try to understand what addiction actually is, in a lame man's explanation, we could say that, it's getting our minds or brains to a state that, it can no longer do without something, and like we all know, when the body is weak, the mind or brains controls it.
So, for a gambling addict, his or her mind had grown more power than his or her body can put under subjection, so in this state, the mind now controls the actions of the body, and for such a person to become free from that gambling addiction, his or her mind or brain is the primary focus, ones the mind is made to focus on other things and not think about gambling anymore, it simply means the fight against that gambling addiction is won.

I have exactly the same position, I rarely play lately because I don’t have enough time for it. I prefer betting on sports, especially boxing, I have several favorite boxers and since they rarely bet on my favorite champion several times a year. Sometimes I also bet on football, but this can only happen if we are watching a match in the company of friends and someone there will also bet, then the viewing will be a little more interesting.I have no thirst for the game because I have very little free time to get completely involved in it all.
This is actually a good escape goat when you're trying to quit gambling. When your time isn't enough to gamble and you'll eventually learn that to yourself that you're not gambling much anymore.
Soon, you're not going to bet anymore because of how hectic your schedule is and on how you're going to be more busy doing more important things than gambling.
That's how you make yourself flee from gambling and it can be an easy strategy because you have other important things to cater.

Yeah, keep yourself busy and not to allow your brain to think about anything that relates into gambling, I think you will start to established good control inside your head, if you start to accomplish something eventually it will allow you to make things happen, quitting is possible for those who can control both time and money, the way they execute everything while inside gambling will determine if they are good in working with their emotin, if you can then you will continue to keep yourself at the safe side and avoid losing more money and time inside gambling.

Yup, it's not easy if the case of such person was already a heavy addiction, there are many factors which we can maybe consider but it's a self definition on how a person take his responsibilities, gambling can be avoided or can be stop if the person put limitation in each gambling session that they are involve.

Having a good alternative or a good diversion to keep yourself busy and not to fall into a heavy addiction.

Often those that are addicted describe their addiction as a sensation similar to being in love, and anyone that has been in love before knows how difficult it can be to get the source of your affection out of your mind, especially after a bad breakup, so while you are right, this is very hard to do, and most people going through a period of recovery will suffer setbacks from time to time as they begin to miss the days in which they could gamble with reckless abandon and not care about anything else.

That's how you make yourself flee from gambling and it can be an easy strategy because you have other important things to cater.
