If you hate gambling that's your decision but I can't figure out why you decide to create a topic on this, are you trying to change the mind of many others? It seems you gamble with the money that you shouldn't have use and you lost it, just accept your defeat and be humble about it, you don't need to hate.
After all no one is forcing you to gamble, it's your own decision, instead of hating it's wiser to figure out what you did wrong, do you even think about the possibility? Next time use what you can afford to lose, your irresponsible way of gambling is what leads to your hate for gambling.
Gambling with what you can afford to lose won't hurt you or makes you become a useless person, have it in mind that there is a higher chance you will lose the money, so limit your amount of money to what you can afford to lose.
You have some very, eh, "original" ideas. You seem to be under the impression that those who don't enjoy gambling are cynical losers. Unfortunately, my dear buddy, things aren't always as simple as you make them out to be. To gamble is not always to lose money or to feel "forced" to do so
Possible explanation: they despise gaming because of the social and economic problems it causes. Like how it can lead to criminal activity, exploitation of the poor, and the promotion of a "get-rich-quick" mentality. Perhaps they've experienced the devastation it causes directly in their own families. A very distinct picture is emerging from my pen, don't you think?
Moreover, in regards to "responsible gambling,"... Sure, that's a line everybody can recognize. But have you ever considered how the boundaries between responsibility and irresponsibility may become hazy in the eyes of an addict? To put it another way: "Hey, you can play with fire, just don't get burned!"
The topic is like OP's sarcasm, why if he hates gambling why does he say if it's hard to quit or not? since i have read everything they have said, it has confused me a bit, because it seems to be something written to be dark humor, or to make fun of people who have had problems with the game, but in very conceptual terms, when it comes to leaving a particular game things are not so easy, if a person takes an addiction it is difficult to quit , responsibility and many things that have personality are quite debatable, but in a healthy sense I could say that quitting is not easy , just You have to stay somewhat away from the game and do other activities to entertain Yourself.
