Though individuals have their life to live, people feel that as humans they are, the have the right and privilege to do whatever they like not minding the implications or adverse effect of such exhibition, smokers are liable to die young was written by tobacco companies in charge of the production, the state it categorically so that a smoker will understand that he or she has been warned and if anything occur in the process is to your detriment, talking about quilting smoking, this where difficulty comes in, building this habit is easy but quitting is almost impossible because of it's addictive nature, health wise smoke is a gradual killer, it gradually breakdown your body system, at a time blood vessel is been blocked and the liver which is for filtration starts malfunctioning in such a way that fluids that are suppose to be excreted will now be retained in the body, this is why most times people leg and hand keep rising because of the inability of the liver to function minimally, please smokers figure out a way to quit.

That's a very nice move and milestone  Cheesy since you have quit smoking for months, most if not all causes that would have caused severe diseases have already been eliminated. Surely the amount that was spent in actually deterioration of your health can now be used for investment and other spending which is really cool. Hopefully God willing you will be able to stay away from it. It's alright to be tempted but just like we don't get addicted overnight, it takes times, similarly the habit to stay off addiction might take time before you can get rid of all thoughts and temptations!
One cannot quit smoking as quickly as one learns to. and it is a bad habit and people can hardly leave bad habits. op's plan is very good if someone can implement it it will be very profitable for him.  But I doubt how many can do it. i don't think op can do a continue by itself.  Money is earned to spend and live a nice and happy life. so we cannot live a fresh life if we only think about savings in all cases. so while op's plan is very profitable, it won't be possible for everyone

I truly despise smoking, drugs, alcohol etc, but it's easy to see why so many people around the world are addicted to them. They truly do help steer you away from the day to day stress of this crazy competitive world.

Everyone are aware of the perks of quitting smoking, but only some have the willpower to actually go through with it.
It seems like that's not the right thing to say because in my area there are many people who really want to stop smoking and other illegal drugs, but there are few here who have succeeded in quitting it all. Because their abilities and approaches to quitting smoking and illegal drugs are very different and very few are successful even though they all have the same intention to quit and not try again in the future.

That's true, because that's what helps them get rid of stress, especially those who work at night, most of the people I know who are addicted to cigarettes and alcohol are the night shift sched workers. I just can't explain how smoking helps to relieve their stress if it is one of the reasons for developing whatever disease they can get from using it?
Cigarettes and alcohol will not actually relieve stress for any reason, because someone who is addicted to cigarettes and alcohol will actually be more stressed when they cannot buy cigarettes and alcohol for themselves to consume at any time. I consider these two things just to calm the mind for a moment and nothing more than that even if someone has worked a full day with a lot of work pressure.

For smokers this problem cannot be removed from their lives, because those who are addicted to cigarettes find it very difficult to stop smoking, so you are very lucky because you have never tried smoking so your health is always maintained, especially with the problem of alcohol, this is certainly very dangerous for our health. So smokers can't stop yet and there is no definite solution for now.
Who says there is no solution and you can't stop dying? I agree that it is not just difficult, but nearly impossible to quit smoking. Even a person quits, he will see people who smoke everywhere, he will see cigarettes are being sold in each and every tiny shop. He could still see ads; see people who smoke in movies and etc. Hard to quit when everywhere a person is being reminded about smoking.

I have heard that Allen Carr's Easy Way To Stop Smoking book helped many to quit. But it helped, people that I know, only to quit for few years. Then they got back. People were motivated by pregnancy's, babies, but as soon as baby is born and routine starts, they return to smoking. Btw, after observing those people who quit, I havent noticed any significant change in their health or finances.

I'm sure they are influenced more by their surroundings than by what they see on social media platforms or they are just trying to start an addiction, there are reasons why they smoke but behind it all is poor health.

Actually, it is not easy to get rid of cigarette addiction because they will definitely have a lot of time for therapy or rehabilitation. This also needs the support of close relatives or people who advise if not then those who are already addicted will find it difficult to quit, because if you are addicted, you will forget anything even though there are risks.

I think cigarette addicts can quit if they really have a consistent intention, because as far as I know smokers who have been said to be addicted they will not be easy to stop smoking But you are right in saying that quitting smoking might save money,  because what I know is that someone who has smoked does not look at the price of the cigarettes they like, as long as they still smoke they will buy them even in difficult circumstances.

I also doubt they can quit smoking by just watching motivational speeches,  in my opinion motivational speeches are more directed towards entrepreneurship, but if for smoking I think there must be a desire from yourself first And quitting gambling also in my opinion can benefit us from health, because of course everyone knows smoking is damaging to health, especially with our lungs.

Because any thing and any change can only be changed when they have a strong will and desire in themselves, smoking is a habit that can make a person addicted because it can make a person dependent to keep doing it, as some smokers I know say that smoking can increase enthusiasm and calmness in themselves, I don't know the other reasons but that's definitely one of the reasons I heard. And I think there are levels of addiction experienced by smokers, where I see one of my two friends where he doesn't worry too much when he doesn't have cigarettes but my other friend he is the opposite where he feels anxious and worried when he doesn't have money to buy cigarettes and from that I can already conclude that smoking seems to have become a part of life for those who are already addicted, and however I think it is a problem that is difficult to overcome if it is basically a habit that they like.

It's true that if to stop directly in my opinion it will not work completely, right you say effective steps to get rid of the smoking habit can be to reduce smoking consumption, maybe every day used up one pack of cigarettes, well try to reduce it, for example one pack of cigarettes for two days for example. Well I think smoking is a very bad addiction for a person to have. I feel bad for a person when I see him smoking because we know how he is choosing to harm his own body. To be killing his body just because he has an nicotine addiction. 

But that is the addiction and he can not stop his cravings to smoke. It is bad habit and is expensive to be a addicted smoker. And smoking around children is not a good thing to do at all.
I don't really care about people do with their life, the decision they make,  but what u don't like us addiction because it is always destructive.  If addiction does not destroy you health wise,  it can make someone fall financially, that is why I feel very worried when I see people who are addicted with cigarette or alcohol because of the dangerous effect.it has. Addiction is never a good habit it can make one not having a good plan to make something good with money.

Just only what addiction can cause o the health, it is good for people to be very conscious about how they go with lifestyle like this because it can cause very dangerous damage that may lead to beyond repair.

Quitting smoking has two big benefits, and I've been doing it for over 3 months. And both can be said to be long-term investments, apart from long-term health, the money used to buy cigarettes can also be used to invest and I invested in Bitcoin.
In one month I can spend approximately $90 to buy cigarettes, and the price of the cigarettes I buy is around $2/pack for one pack a day and sometimes more than one pack.
And by quitting smoking, I was able to increase my regular monthly Bitcoin purchases from a portion of my monthly salary as well as $90 per month in cigarette money.
And I definitely felt a difference in my health and also saw a difference in my Bitcoin holdings after increasing my purchases, and I wish I could do it forever. Honestly, even though I don't do it, sometimes I am still tempted to want to smoke again when hanging out with friends and also at certain moments.
And the strong reason I stopped smoking was because my wife likes to nag me if I smoke at home because I have small children, and over time I decided to stop smoking. And previously I tried it several times but failed, and now I haven't smoked for more than 3 months and I hope I can do it forever because it has two extraordinary benefits. Well, I'm going to say that quitting smoking could really help you to save your money

You know, I dont think that quitting smoking is going to change former smoker financial condition dramatically. People focus only on the total amount saved during a long period, while pay little attention on expenses. For example OP said that he spends $90 monthly, which is $1080 per year. I am 1000% sure, that if he quit, he wont find extra $1000 in his pocket by the end of the year. He wont put those $90 by the end of the month in a piggy bank. That $2/pack he has mentioned, he would spend on something else. Cut of coffee daily. Buy more gas at gas station. Extra bottle of beer next time he does shopping. Anything. Easy to say that if he quit he would be $1k richer by the end of the year. Hard to resist spending money and saving them purposely during that year.

I have done something of such savings. I have switched my TV/Internet subscription monthly from super fast to fast. That would save me around 15 EUR per month. And guess what, after I year of such savings, I did not feel any major difference. Like I spent money and run out of them by the end of the month, and it continued to be like this.

My comment was addressed into a bit different direction. Think about this. People write here that after he quits, he will save money, but like we figured out, he wont find that thousand in his pocket by the end of the year. Those $2 a day will slid away like nothing. If smoking isnt killing you for 100%, and OP did not complain about health, then for obtaining those $2 a day, he has lost a few minutes of joy or happiness. It is wrong to make such comparison, but still. Those few minute with yourself and your thoughts, that little pause from other activity, that little moment of happiness (if he wasnt happy, he would not have even started smoking, right?) cost only $2 a day.
The amount wont really be that significant on what most people been saying about saving up the money in regarding with those vices on which having $2 a day then it wont really be giving those indeed thousands in the end of the month. Somewhat i dont really agree into the idea on having some smoke on easing out yourself on frustration or having simply that happiness. When it comes to addiction then there would really be no exemption to this and when it comes to expenses then we do know that there would really be allocation with that and this is something that wont really be avoided specially if the addiction is really severe.
When it comes to benefits then health woudl really be something that would really matter rather than on with that money. Health is wealth and it is really just that right that you should
really be putting up focus into that if you do really want on having that kind of non problem when it comes to health.
