Forgive the question but I did not see it answered in this thread... how might one earn/gain R2B2? If I can understand, the eventual aim will be to phase out Rubies by burning them, so it would seem there is no longer a way to earn them. Will there be a similar method of "mining" R2B2 as its predecessor?

So the old dev has nothing to fo with this new one? The old devs has done a lot of great things for Rbies I hope the new one can do the same I'll be watching for more updates,I wonder what would the old dev thinks about this take over?
We worked together to change Rubies to R2B2 in order to provide greater options and blockchain stability, this was a joint effort, and we passed the project to them. All is good and positive

Anyone went thru the swap process?
I did. It's kind easy and fast. Message "DD" with nxt address at http://moneypotsupport.com and sent rubies to burn address then received the new asset.

Hope a positive solution to this issue will be found soon: I have RBIES at Livecoin I'd like to withdraw and swap to R2B2 but unfortunately withdrawals are "temporary unavailable" at least for last 10 days.

There's no date that's been decided, as the two coins will run side by side. Basically, you can hold/use either, neither, or both. And you can sell RBIES at any time.

R2B2 will follow the path of RBIES except the dumping, for those who have some RBIES, swap now and hold some more time then you will be rich later.

People need to realize that this project is backed by a very professional, business minded, very driven person and supported by people with the same state of mind.
Solid project with solid road-map.
2017 will be a good year for R2B2, mark my words.

Rubies was very good to me. If I understand correctly Rubies can be converted to R2B2? If so I'll go buy some up on to it right now, if not I'll put some BTC down to rent a miner and have at it.
