By the way, beginner question:

What do I have to do to rake in the PoS reward?

Do I have to have the wallet opened?
How long does it usually take with 1000 RADS until I hit the first PoS reward?

Thanks!

Thanks, I did. It does not say though whether I have to have the wallet opened.
To get stake, your wallet must be online and unlocked for staking.
Your coins must also be mature "old enough" to stake.

It's good for the network to keep the wallet open, so I have it in auto-startup when my PC is on Smiley

one thing people don't talk about is the POS on this coin

Rads has very unique POS Reward system while its only 1 coin per block (1440 coin a day added to supply)

with Rads more people start to use the Smart Chain, POS reward can be much greater than just 1 coin ..

"The Radium that is contributed to the network becomes incorporated in the next block's stake reward"

i have found blocks with 3.8 coins not just 1

think about it if 100 people Decay next POS block can be 101 coins while not effecting inflation

How unique is that ?

Radium is currently priced in at a $330,000 USD marketcap.

2.6M coins at 0.0003 BTC each. A currency that works parallel to a data layer which provides decentralized and advanced services on the blockchain- constantly being improved and further developed. Why is this coin so undervalued? I have said it many times- not enough exposure. The meagre amount of individuals that are thoroughly aware of what Radium does is relatively in the 2-figures (less than 100 people).

The price fluctuations experienced today and previous times is just an example of what a relatively small amount of BitCoins can do to the price- which can be caused by anyone.

The price of Radium has grown exponentially since its inception early last year. This exponential growth was caused by more and more people knowing about Radium and what it is capable of. And that number of individuals is still extremely low. What happens when a few dozen more people hear about Radium's SmartChain technology? We would then probably see another wave in price movement as those individuals secured positions on the market.

Radium is in a fledgling state on the market. It is Factom before the Chinese investors bought in. It is EmerCoin before Microsoft endorsed it. It is Ethereum before people realized how undervalued it was. What will be the spark that drives Radium to the top 25? Perhaps a simple Poloniex addition?

Some food for thought.

Take care,

JJ and tm are doing nice work, so i think poloniex will add RADS sooner (low supply, new features of smart chain).

CPU Web Mining 🕸️ on webmining.io
I added RADS to the Arbitrage alerts on http://www.freestaking.com/arb

Compares prices from C-CEX and Bittrex and will give an estimate on which prices are available. If none are found, it will show you the Market Spread instead
Great, thank you for the addition. Smiley

Can add it to Twitter bot too, if there's any interest in it

RADS has as good (if not better) of an idea as Emercoin or Factom. Don't be surprised to see it with a similar market cap.  Smiley

Build 37... you must be testing like a mad man Smiley

You have no idea ... ugh.  I built a new class that handles all the database management, and was able clean up a lot of redundant code.  Issue was, it required code changes in about 70 different places.  Now though, it looks so much nicer and cleaner Smiley  ( and it may be a tad faster too)

JJ

its great to see such a large amount of development, radium actually has useful features too, it has the potential to be one of the biggest coins of 2016

New relational database scheme is working! Happy dance!

The GUI still needs a bit of TLC, but the under the hood code is much cleaner and happier. Smiley
Yes, a lot of nice progress is being made with the SmartChain.
On my end of development, I am working towards creating a very useful branch of the SmartChain. It will utilize Smart Transactions and SmartChain smart contracts to create an environment for decentralized domains and web servers.

Sounds awesome guys! Keep up the awesome work!
