In the original xRadon thread there was a mention that the protocol would enable decentralized storage. Where does Radium stand on that? Is this something that will be / is implemented? If so, how?
Currently, decentralized storage is not something that is being actively developed. The project team decided to go another direction, and focus on the SmartChain functionality.
Will there be a Linux client?
Maybe. Currently the SmartChain only runs on windows, but may be able to make a mono compatible version in the future.
This:
> I will continue to develop it and provide support as my time and interest allows.
Sucks. A successful project needs developer dedication.
Perhaps it is not worded the best. I can assure you of my dedication to the project, but I still have to make a living. Maybe someday Radium will be able to feed me and keep a roof over my head, but that day is not today.
Any uses-cases so far for Radium?
Sure! See this post.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.13672193Note that #3 is no longer in testing, and is fully implemented.
I will see about getting them added to the ANN.
Pre-mine?
No, it was all PoW distribution.
If you have any more questions, just ask!
