Hey I’m just asking some simple questions here, is that okay? You may want to refer to my prior comment for more clarity. Thanks.

Given that you got an answer to your question and that any further discussion is redundant, maybe it would be wise to lock the thread? It is usually something that is logical to do in such cases, but unfortunately it is rare to see that possibility being used. Just don't tell me you didn't know that option existed...

You're absolutely right Lucius. I'm locking the thread now. Have a good day everyone.

There is only one way to rank up on forum which is by gaining merits on your post which you have already received so you just keep doing it in the same way making contributions to the forum and you will automatically rank up to next rank. You can through all the links provided up to check for full information.

But if you have any doubt or you want to search any thread best is to use https://ninjastic.space/ and you can have lot of information related to post, merits or forum related stats.

Or you can simply have Google optimised search with your keywords adjoining bitcointalk at last like this :

Code:
 Merit and rank bitcointalk

But another advice to you is to spend some quality time on forum gaining knowledge as you have already been here from long time and still having such doubts is not really expected.

I know about the pumps. Or bumps? Super pumps? Super bumps? That is if you are consistently posting your rank goes higher and higher? Shoot, I need to just ask Chat GPT 😂 would love the feedback though. I’ll admit I’ve been on here for years and still don’t fully understand how it all works. Someone can you please post the thread for it? Thanks!
Making several post doesn't even guarantee anyone of having 'em merits... It only increases the chances of anyone getting merited by every means.... Therefore, it entails that the post quality and quantity could create much more chances of getting merits....that's the idea behind it.
Don't give me the impression to suspect this account as a traded one -- and most likely in the hands of a leafyhead dude, that's inexperienced about the forum and it's modifications...cus I don't seem to see any reasons why an OP with a senior member account should be asking questions like this, rather appalling!!
One of the reasons why I keep striking against deleting major tuition threads; if we've got them and something of this magnitude has happened, think about if we never had any?? (Rhetorical though)

2018-2023, 5 years running on Bitcointalk, weird, I dunno.

I read the OP's post several times because it seemed to me that he was not serious with his question and it seemed to me that he was confused with the threads bumps in some parts of the forum. If a Senior member is confused about some basic features of the forum, don't be surprised by beginners who seem lost in their first days or weeks.

By the way, it's a bit strange to me that the OP has the will to ask such questions, considering that he didn't exactly have the best week in his life - he allegedly lost his job and a close friend, which would have much more serious consequences for me personally - but I'm glad that he still looks at life on the bright side.

Yes, it has been quite a rough week. Disregard this ignorant post. All the answers were there, I just needed to look. Was mainly confused on the super bumps. I came across some thread that really laid everything so good a while back but forgot about it. In terms of ranking up I of course know how that works and have been fortunate to get some good merits for my posts. I want to contribute more to this forum in a wholesome way. So please excuse me and any rants that I make or ones seemly very stupid 😂 I’m trying to sort out a lot of things in my life right now, but I appreciate all of your comments! The ranking system on here is very legit, and I like it a lot.

OP, if you chat with a ChatGPT robot, for sure it is a man-made thing that uses the LLM system which has flaws and limitations, And RLHF who plays a role in ChatGPT he can give answers that are unclear and not in accordance with human questions.

To find out everything on Bitcointalk, in the future don't use ChatGPT, use search, as below.

No need to ChatGPT for that. You could get answer to your question with a simple google search or reading the pinned topic on "Meta".
FAQ: Everything you need to know about forum 'activity, account ranks and merit

Take note that bumps and super bumps are different things and they have nothing to do with determining your rank.
