The tax they deduct are so much than what we should be paying them for (probably goes on with other countries) There are at least millions or thousands of people in the country, what is going to happen to all that extra money? Yes, they serve us with a lot of stuff like roads, bridges and parking lots, etc. But sometimes it also makes you wonder if that is the correct amount you should be paying for. I just hope we get enough when we have our pensions.

Public facilities and infrastructure, such as: roads, bridges, schools, hospitals. Military defense and security, employee salaries, food and fuel oil subsidies, etc. We need taxes to finance it all, because government resources from businesses that are managed are certainly limited, and the public must take part in accelerating the construction of facilities and operational costs.

As you know, the federal, state and local governments have many tasks to address, which no one citizen can organize, settle and cover. For example, we need to spend on national defense, public safety, social security, training, and transport. Federal, state, and local governments undertake these tasks and the financial costs incurred by the taxpayer. This is only possible if each citizen, or both, has to contribute to the expenses. It's just that each of us has to pay taxes. Indeed, my child or family member or friend has received money (child allowance, housing allowance, unemployment benefit, class picnic funding, etc.). Man is social.  We are responsible towards society.  One of our social responsibilities is to share the burden of the society well beings.  As stated by the OP roads; transports; education; above all security are the services which Governments need to be assured to the people of respective countries.
For meeting above expenditure they need funds.  Taxes are only resources available with the governments.

So it is our responsibility to pay taxes honestly to help governments provide above facilities.

But it is not so simple.  Everything is not happening in such a great manner.  Dishonest corrupt leaders / officers have been diverting the funds to their own pockets instead of using it for public welfare.  Billions of dollars have been stolen by these corrupts.  And the public even after paying taxes has been deprived of the benefits they deserve.

After seeing corrupt leaders officers; traders too have started them.  They are always busy finding the ways how to cheat the government by non payment of taxes.  

So a vicious circle of corruption has started.  Only honest leaders can save the countries from the clutches of these corrupts.

Indians are lucky who have found Mr. Narender Modi as their PM.  After his taking over the seat of Prime Minister things have started changing.  Corruption at higher levels has been controlled though may not ended.  If Mr Modi is in power for few more years; the picture of India will be some different.

So by quoting above example I just want to say that taxes if paid, collected, utilized honestly; can really make this earth a beautiful heaven.

In my opinion, it is better to invest in studying the planet Mars, than on an endless arms race and permanent local conflicts, and even global wars.
And taxes still have to pay, nowhere we will not get away from it. If we refuse to pay taxes in bulk, it will be even worse. Then we will have to defend ourselves against armed gangs, if everything collapses and anarchy reigns.

Tax services should be reformed to make it more flexible to reduce defaulters and tax back directly. It is also important to know that paying our taxes makes us better citizens, helping build a stronger nation for its citizens and the future generation that will follow. Though tax evasion is considered unlawful, there are means which can be developed to resolve such acts without having to get to court. However, a stitch in time saves nine.

In every country it is mandated by the government to pay taxes and it is indicated in the government law. If we do not pay taxes the government might sue us for not paying the taxes and the surgers and penalties are even much higher.

Taxes are good, we truly need them to be able to live in a country, where it is worth to live. However, our government for example steals so shamelessly, while others live from a very low budget. So it is not an easy topic.

To developed countries government required money where we give them via paying taxes.
Ever know why some government is looking to banned cryptocurrencies? Because the government needs money where we spend them while buying something if we use cryptocurrencies we won't pay any taxes.

Organization of the people! That's not as hard as we think it is. When there's a huge need for something, people get together and help each other. Taxation is theft, and is more so in some countries than others. When multiple ministers of a particular country in the middle east got caught with shoe boxes full of money buried under their lawns, the peasants said "They work hard, they deserve it". Ignorance.


Dubai's an example of how rich will always rule from their almighty position because they have such high standards to enter their level of living. They continue to separate themselves by widening the gap so they will always be untouchable up there.

This is called the progressive taxation and you are taxed according to the rise in your income. Besides, this is something that the state has to rely on if the economy is not in a very good shape.

It actually shrinks the gap between rich and poor of a country and has been a good portion of the GDP of almost all the countries except Dubai where it accounts to only one percent of the total GDP. In countries like Norway, taxation contributes up to 30% to the GDP. This is the reason why the living standards have been so high in countries like these.

Well honestly, paying tax will help our co citizen in their lives. Taxes are made to support the economy and also the status of each people living in a particular country. But sometimes taxes is not govern so well so the tendency is that those official take their power to abuse it by getting the taxes .

in theory for paying taxes everything seems quite utopic and makes sense. In reality those taxes are not used for those pure reasons and are being distributed unfairly to fill some pockets.

I don't mind paying taxes, but on the condition that my tax payments would go to help the people. The state constantly introduces even more aggressive tax rate. All this reminds me of the movie "Time", which starring Justin Timberlake. An interesting film, I advise you to watch!
