Well , I connect it all because of such a market as it is now , many are afraid to invest in the crypto currency itself that it brings losses now, and the ico can bring even more loss!

There are many ICOs out there, but more than 50% of them fail.
From my analogy, could this be the reasons why ICOs fail?
1. Being too complicated:
If you want investors to favour your ICO, make sure they understand your coin offering. Be concise yet interesting, creative yet not too ‘techy’ and try to explain concepts from scratch. Of course, the detail you go into is likely to depend on your target audience.
2. No unique Use case and lack of creativity:
The reality is, ICOs are not straightforward and with new ideas and concepts arising daily, you need to get noticed and that means coming up with some unique Use case
So, before a developer even attempts to launch an ICO or enter the crypto world, ask yourself: "What will make investors choose this particular ICO over a competitor’s ICO?"
I believe the list continues.

What you say is not wrong, but there are many other factors can causing ICO to failed.
The most factor from my opinion is, many investors has been scammed with ICO's in the past.
So the investors will think 100x more if they want to participating in ICO, only choosing the trusted ICO.

I think the reasons why the majority of ICOs have failed during the last year is the fact that there were too many fraud projects that have scared investors and made them to stop investing in ICOs.

A lot of reasons why ICOs fail, some are as a result of lack of communication from the team, inexperienced team, lack of detailed road map and the viability of the project. Some of these can send the wrong signal to investors.

Till date I still wish Ethereum can start dealing with crap projects running through erc20 blockchain ,take a look at tron for example ,they are able deal with scam projects running on tron blockchain ,but I guess its not possible on ETH, many ICO projects runs on erc20 and many of them are scam, almost 70% of cryptocurrency investors always invest in ICOs rather than coins and many are already disappointed, ICO is failing because of too many fraudulent activities

many icos teams are only involved in fundraising, but they should present to investors a good project that has developments on the market even an aggressive advertising campaign can help

well ,, for now a lot of ICO come without pure idea,, wich mean only a copy from the past project
so, a lot of investors didn't interested with the project,, then the result is a lot of ICO fail

I think more than half of them fail, and I'm almost sure that this is mainly due to the product itself!

When the market conditions are red until now it is certainly difficult to succeed even though it is supported by good products, the biggest factor that makes market red is too much ico so that the competition becomes very tight.
Difficult for people who are into short term profit, but it's not for those who have the right patience.
We know the current situation, we have to understand it and make an appropriate action, ICO is a good way to invest in start up project
and it's understood that they are new in the market, and actually in the past there are coins that increases a lot but that's all hype
because if you will study the project well, it's overvalued and market sentiment really affects the price and that's what is happening now.

Ofcourse lack of investors this is the only one purpose that many of ICO projects get scammed and failed because of they don't reach the minimum amount of money they need to use in the project.
I think they're just trying to cheat money from investors and they don't develop their projects. In the past 2 months I have seen many projects like that, they ended ICO in silence and never informed about listing and updating their projects, so investors left away from ICO
There is a lot ICO which do something like that. Only know softcap and then not develop their project, maybe that is why it is affected to another ICO that actually really want to make progress for their project but lost to ICO that only use hype to make them famous.

Most ICOs fail because they have poor marketing strategies which do not normally create an effective awareness of the project despite how good the product may be. Others may also present an idea which appears not practicable or a repetition of an idea which is already on the market.

There are many reasons why ico failed, for example the lack of investors involved, the less competent team or the lack of promotion from an ongoing ico, if all of these are able to be repaired, surely ico will be able to run smoothly and achieve its target, hopefully this year there will be improvements for ico so that in the future it can run smoothly

ICO failed because difficulties in raising funds would certainly be a problem that often happened. Before you determine the project you want to follow, you better do research. Looking for projects that have sales that have achieved Soft Cap. And not only that you have to see experienced teams and developers.

First of all i would like to say that if there are 3.000 ICO projects, there are only 100 ideas mostly. I mean many ICO's are starts on the same idea. Unfortunately too many stolen whitepapers and using in different project again and again. I heard that one scammer using the same whitepaper in 4 different project and stoled peoples money. Howmany people reads the whitepaper before investing? Not too much right.. I am calling the scammers, please stop, you are killing our market, you are killing our hopes..
Indeed, there are so many new ICO that are just copying another existing ICO that seems to be success.
What needed for new ICO would be a unique project that hasn't been created before.

Therefore, it is not worth investing in ICO now. Many ICOS fail because the bear market and investors have lost interest in cryptocurrencies.
Shouldn't they return money to investors if they fail to reach softcap? That means it doesn't matter what market condition is, they will either raise enough money to start with project and investors will earn or they will fail and funds will be returned to investors.

There are diverse resend why ICOs fail and one prominent reason is that some ICOs are just obvious money grabs with copied project, if a team cannot even come up with an original idea, then they deserve to fail.

Yes let say your right but still have so many ICO which succesful and belong to top on the CMC. Different team and different technique and that affect how they handle the project. ICO is mixed some is great and other is a scammed that most fail because they been reported on the time Ico exicuted.

for me the cause of ICO failed many factors that influence. one of them is development and also less creative innovation. other than that the sales token does not reach the specified target. lack of partners to attract many investors.
