ICO is the easy way in the crypto to collect the Ethereum from the innocent investors who have entered very recently and don't know the cheat ico person but they are investing in the ico without deep knowledge of project and invest without any study after that ico run away from market so now ico are fail due to this reason.
for me personally the reason for ICO failed because it was caused by the crypto market itself, so investors were reluctant to invest because almost all if they had entered the exchange the value would continue to fall.
