There are many ICOs out there, but more than 50% of them fail.
From my analogy, could this be the reasons why ICOs fail?
1. Being too complicated:
If you want investors to favour your ICO, make sure they understand your coin offering. Be concise yet interesting, creative yet not too ‘techy’ and try to explain concepts from scratch. Of course, the detail you go into is likely to depend on your target audience.
2. No unique Use case and lack of creativity:
The reality is, ICOs are not straightforward and with new ideas and concepts arising daily, you need to get noticed and that means coming up with some unique Use case
So, before a developer even attempts to launch an ICO or enter the crypto world, ask yourself: "What will make investors choose this particular ICO over a competitor’s ICO?"
I believe the list continues.
Additionally,
I think one of the reason ICO fail is, the project not transparent about token sale (My experience). Why? Because if the project not transparent, many investor will doubt to choose the project and thinking like "this project scam, fake, or etc". So for all start-up project, i suggest you to transparent if will applicating ICO for fund raising Wink And dont forget to always update social media, for help investor to learn your project concept Wink

The reason for most ICO failure is that the project is false and unoriginal. Many ICO just get investors' bitcoins in the crowd raising stage.

It is impossible to say unequivocally and immediately that it is falling, it is worth considering that it is being adjusted against the background of some important events and trends in the market, and if there is still no accurate news on the tokens of some projects, the bearish trend can not. Only large exchanges and support from the community are a factor of growth or stability.

The most important thing is the greed of the developers because they are to blame for the fact that ICO ends in failure, it seems to me that people must understand that in the crypto currency industry there is always a risk of losing your money

The more difficult it feels to choose an ICO project that can be successful and not fail. Especially when there is an ICO project that was deliberately made a scam. And one of the causes of the project could fail is because the sale of its tokens did not meet the target.

Only invest what you are willing to lose. Dont put your money all in one basket. Proper financial planning is important in every investment we make. Try looking in in SafeCrypt.io. A high security exchange that has high standards of quality and every piece of software is being tested multiple times before they make it publicly available.
I spent some time to study SafeCrypt ICO. I think this ICO could become one of the best this spring, because of several reason:
 1. This is cryptoexchange. And this cryproexchange has some advantages compare to existing ones: instant transactions, lowest fees, absolute anonimity, large select of crypto assts and others.
 2. They lead very good ICO policy.
 3. THey have Adequate and reasnable bonus rates.

The major reason for the failure of ico is because too many people lack the knowledge and experience to develop the project but they jump into ico because they see it as chance to settle themselves.

The reason why most ICOs fail is because  the service or product does not have a market demand. Before launching an ICO ensure that you find an audience base for it as well as a real need for the offering. Also the idea has to require a token economy. A lot of ICOs are selling tokens just for raising money. These projects may fail as time goes by. Potential users want to see projects that have a defined market as well as future utility.

the reason why the ICO fails is because the ICO does not have a good promotion, so people do not know about the ICO and maybe the ICO does not have a new idea (just like the existing ICO).

I thought some reasons make ICO fail
- Experienced team in crypto field
- Bonus for everyone
- There is no real need
- Quality of community discussion is low
- There is no sign of the large floor will list ICO tokens

There can be only 3 reasons for the failure of any ICO. These are:

1. Project is not unique in nature
2. Marketing tactics (such as bounty campaigns) are not well managed
3. soft-cap and hard-cap kept too high.

I think the reason behind why the ICO fails is due to poor performance and not efficient services which is a really a big factor in order to become a successful in this particular field of industry.

Many ICOs fails because they dont have unique product and just copying early project. Beside that, many ICOs fails because they can not gain trust from investor and their project not run like their roadmap

ICO's fails probably because they do not have mature ideas and thoughts, so the ICO does not work and tokens do not sell as expected

I think 90% of ICOs fail, because participants did not understand the value of the project or the project was not feasible

when you start the ICO, you must take into account that the project should be of some use, and tokens should be used in project management. investors also need to see a proven business concept, active community participation and a team with the relevant competence. this, in fact, is the factors that determine a successful ICO. The reverse side of the medal is the result of the failed ICOs.

For now it's difficult to explain why most ico's fail, in my opinion because too many Ico are only made to deceive people, because that's why most of it. That's 55% so that's why Ico fails too much In any business, because the percentage of campaigns that make losses is too high for now, but If we take the scope of startup, only one project out of ten survives there, bad in the field of Ico as given to the media.
