I think if you keep winning numerous times you tend to do relaxed gambling which cannot cause addiction. But probably, if you win once lose twice, as percentages I assume, you can be lot more into it. Winning couple of times can make you feel like "I should play more and try harder so I can win big" mentality. But that mentality cannot be true in gambling cause its mainly luck based... Strong "will" is necessary to not be addicted to gambling.
What's required to not get addicted to gambling is discipline and self-control, if you have these two things, you will never get addicted to gambling. Your discipline will not let you go across the limits you've set for yourself, and your self-control won't make you gamble more when you don't need to and it will make you stop at the right time which will often save you from big losses and it will also prevent you from losing what you have won already in that session.

So, if someone is about to start gambling and they don't want to get addicted to it since they know it is dangerous, they should first see if they have got these two things in them, they should practice for a week or so and then see if they are able to do it, and then they should continue.

Addiction comes when you lose a little amount of money every day and winning a huge amount of money after a couple loss. that's where it starts it's based on our emotion. When we think that we're making a lot of money through gambling we think that we're actually always winning without thinking that we already lost a lot of money upon playing it everyday. in terms of playing recklessly it mostly comes after a you win some and you constantly losing that's where it starts because you wanna feel that excitement again that feeling of winning. So you tend to bet higher in order to get your loses.
That is just one part of this whole pie of reasons why someone could be addicted to gambling. There’s no primary reason why people push for more wins besides greed, there’s no other reason why people succumb to gambling addiction than loss of control over one’s self. If you find that you’re able to master these things you’re sure as shooting would be able to gamble as much as you want without the fear of ever getting addicted to gambling getting on to you.

Gambling addiction doesn’t just come from getting small wins and belligerently wasting the money over and over again, there are a plethora of possible cases that could lead to gambling addiction. And it’s your job to make sure you don’t fall victim to these schemes.

maybe sometimes experience or good self control will not guarantee to continue to be a healthy gambler and also sometimes professional gamblers will still be emotionally defeated and fail to control themselves but as long as experienced gamblers who have good self control know how to avoid gambling if the atmosphere or conditions that are not good so as not to lose control when gambling.
for example, if you are an experienced gambler, but you know that your physical condition is angry because of some problem, and when you want to gamble, you always remember that if you are in an emotional state and gamble, you will definitely lose more money.
However, if you have experience, self-control or good self-control will be able to prevent you from having the problem of losing money at gambling because you will know that it is enough to gamble and you should stop before things change. And indeed professional gamblers may also experience loss, have an emotional impact, and fail to control themselves. But he can prevent a big loss that might occur because he can quickly realize his mistake to get back on track quickly.

And when we can be responsible gamblers, we won't try to over-gamble and will remember that we have boundaries that must be maintained. We also won't try to gamble in an emotional state because we know what the impact will be on us, namely we can use more money because we are provoked by many things that will eventually make us lose more money.
good self control, responsible gambling and a positive mindset are the main factors to make a better gambler so that any negative influence that can affect a gambler can always be ignored with a broad mind. with this, gamblers do not need to be too ambitious to think too much about the difficulties of quit gambling or how to avoid gambling, but enough commitment and consistent self control, I do not think I will bet recklessly. if a gambler has that kind of commitment Im sure they can never be provoked or emotional because he always has a way to avoid those negative things.

That's right, every gambler is required to have some self-control, if they don't have it then it is very possible for them to fall into gambling. We can see a lot of cases that occur about those who put too much ambition in gambling, all of them end up with downturns and some even get stressed. Well, it's actually not too difficult to deal with problems like this, just agree with yourself on some limits that they should do when they experience for example defeat and at that time try to stop and rest first. Believe me, most gamblers are addicted because they put too much hope for a win, but on the other hand this is gambling. We have to be healthy gamblers who know what we are doing, gambling operates under the human consciousness so it is not strange if they lose a lot there because they do it based on emotions.
Would really be just that common sense that you should really be needing up that kind of control on which it is really that part of human senses and other default stuff on how to deal with things around you. We know that each person is really that different on each aspect when it comes to behavior and insights that they do see in a particular thing on which reactions and possible motives would really be mold up along the way. In speaking about winning in gambling then it is really that normally giving out that kind of boost and confidence on the time you do able to hit up. Its normal that your mind would be telling you that "you got this" on which this would really be that a driving force for you to play even more and wont really be minding nor caring about on the losses that you do have earlier because those stress and anxiety would definitely be wiped away on the time that you do able to hit up a single huge win or something significant. This is why we should really be careful on what we are dealing with if you dont like for yourself on experiencing some common future problems.

Completely.  Greed while winning is a hard thing to separate yourself from.  I always say it's terrible to win big real quick.  Better to gamble for a long time before your first big win because you will understand how quick it can go if you aremt careful.

That's right, every gambler is required to have some self-control, if they don't have it then it is very possible for them to fall into gambling.
The problem starts when gamblers face a lucky wave on their gambling session. So all the self-control is gone to give place to euphory and greediness. It's addictive to win, because it triggers the release of large portions of dopamine in our body. The pleasure is unspeakable, and they want more and more of that, until they start facing severe losses, then it's too late.

What OP said make all the sense for me, because personally I've already felt that for real and it's really good, although we have to fight against that feeling to not develop a serious addiction. Anyway, every moments I've won in gambling are memorable for me. I have them with a kind of nostalgia and magic...

Based on my experience, gambling addiction may develop and grow in anticipation of future profits. It does not matter whether you have tasted some wins or not, but the fact that beginner gamblers are hunger with money and profits, then addiction will easily come to develop. However, in some gamblers, they only develop gambling addiction once they have experienced potential profits. Because they feel that if they continue gambling, there will be more profits waiting for them. That’s when reality sucks when all they gained are losses.
Winning is primarily the major concerns of every gamblers in the system. We strive harder every day to make sure things go smooth for us, some days are profitable while some are buildup losses which will would bounced back to the space to recovered. It's routine, our every day activity. Gambling addiction starts with the mindset of the gambler, they begin to grow in every single opportunity of witnessing or grabbing a win from the system. We should be able to control ourselves and mindset when the winning comes, because we can do irrational functions when it's triggered.
You've got it somewhat right, but let me break it down for you. People in the gambling industry naturally desire to succeed. However, some of you complain about the losses as though they were some unavoidable catastrophe. You should have known from the start that losses are a part of playing
This "addiction" you mention, where people lose control when they succeed? It seems to me like a justification for being weak. Real victors are capable of handling both highs and lows. This may not be the place for you if you are unable to manage it. I support responsible gambling since it's a beautiful game of skill and nerve, but if you're going to participate, DO SO. Stop complaining and change your perspective

That for real, if you experienced the win better to be wise and not to let the greed of aiming to win more controls you, like how the topic state it being reckless when you think you can repeatedly wins will surely harm your finances, the wrong mindset or impression that in gambling you can quickly double your money or you can win more is something that will continue to battle inside you. The more you understand the risk and wisely handle it, the better you may get a good outcome. But the more you engage and recklessly continue pushing for more luck, the higher the chance that you may suffer a huge defeat.
That's the point if we can be wise in playing gambling and when we win, it's better for us to stop for a moment to reduce tension after getting a win because we are very happy and want to repeat the moment again. But by resting for a while, you can think there will be no other luck, especially after getting that big luck. You also won't be careless to continue playing gambling because everything is enough for you to get your win. There are still many other times to play gambling so you can be aware of stopping immediately and prevent another defeat. We also have to remember that the risk of loss will still exist as long as you play gambling and that is why, you must limit your gambling time and in using money to gamble.

Though what you said is not wrong, that anticipation actually increases when you have already witnessed something of similar nature before. So when a gambler has won something when they first started gambling, they will always be hoping to win more, and that anticipation makes them gamble even more which in most cases leads them to addiction. After some time, they just can't stop thinking of the future wins that might never even come since it's gambling.

That hunger for huge profits is not only found in newbies in gambling, but those who have been gambling for years also have the same hunger and eagerness to earn a lot of profit from gambling and that is exactly why they have been gambling for years but never won anything significant.

Because of their greediness and addiction they continued to play gambling for thinking they can win the game or hit the jackpot without noticing their losses was already big, and that's very sad truth.
It's a human thing, greed that can't be separated from human beings if you don't really learn to control it, because people do that, there must be a reason out of curiosity that makes you addicted and greedy to want to win big, but the fact is that you can't get it at all. there is a big loss, so the behavior of greed and addiction is the thing that is most inherent in the human being himself.

I think it's difficult to get rid of it if you can't control it because if you can control it you will avoid addiction and you won't be greedy when gambling, at least you know when to stop gambling and know when to gamble, that's why it's important to control yourself and be responsible when gambling don't have to chase big wins.

I also think so, for me a person who is going to fall into addiction does not start when he has a winning streak <...>

I would think that the addition begins is when you have a losing streak, because in the winning streak the player is fine, he is calm, he knows that things are going well for him, but in a losing streak things get ugly, the person does not He accepts that he loses so much, he says that it is unfair or that even worse, he lacked money to recover everything, because he already knows how to play to recover what he lost, this is a mistake that addicts make all the time, when you lose you create that need to win to win back, or in retrospect, you create that way of playing anyway because the casino shouldn't beat that person, and fighting or seeking revenge with a casino is the worst thing to do.

In addition, if the person in question runs out of money, he will immediately look for a way to get more money, and that's where a problem starts silently, but you have to pay attention, that's how it starts, and the player when he gets that money , play and lose again, the despair will be greater, because you know that with more money you could have recovered, and that all develops into a difficult problem, which if it is not cut on time, with whatever reason or method, things end very badly, and that is not the idea or what is sought.

I think you are wrong on this. What the OP is talking about is the scenario of someone who gambles for the first time, and what you say is true but when he has been gambling for a long time. So someone who has been gambling for a while and has developed addiction or other problematic behaviour if they have a losing streak will try to chase their losses, go for more money or even borrow it, but someone who is starting out and losing money gets bored and doesn't gamble when they lose the money they have decided to gamble.

Yes, in fact it is when it happens for the first time, but it usually happens that when there is a first time, sometimes you have the luck of the newbie, as it was in my case , the first time I entered a casino at once I got around of 2mBTC, and that was in less than half an hour, almost without thinking, after this I rested for about 1 week, then I came back, and it was when one makes all those mistakes, and if by chance I had not controlled myself it was very easy to have fallen in addiction.

Normally, when a rookie makes any bet and has the winning round, before entering any kind of indication of addiction, what he experiences is a set of strong emotions and what he does is expose himself to continue betting, but I think that in the midst of all this, take care of that balance you have earned, because for many it is the first time to see so much money , so if you take care of it, of course if you let yourself be carried away by that if you bet more you win double, or if you feel very lucky to bet it all, and if you lose it, you'll be bored and I don't think you'll go down an addictive path.

For me , addiction never begins for a novice if they have a round of good Warnings, I think that is something that is unlikely, however we do not know if the novice can fall into another state , that is, if they are drinking alcohol, it could be that I lost a little in the north, my focus is that he is superman and if I lose control but that is already due to other aids , which is not within the normal framework of the game , for me an addiction does not start there but after several sessions of games in a row , because it makes or creates the need to Continue playing and earning money, probably money that has been lost , Apart from this I think that it can also cause a type of addiction if the person focuses on only recovering losses, that is where there is the problem and that is where people can normally fall into despair, thus earning a direct path to addiction, but created by a need , it is what becomes more Logical.

If you are onto gambling for the first time it's not possible to get addicted to gambling because you haven't tasted what winning feels like, you will be consumed by doubts and uncertainty.

Early winning especially for new gamblers will give them the wrong idea thinking that this is the right place to stay as they thought that gambling would make them rich. They'll never know exactly what awaits them in the next couple of these of gambling. Many speculations arise and base on my experience, especially these online games, there is a sort of manipulations as we usually win on the very first day and this is a trick to help you encourage to gamble and spend more. And after a short happiness and winning, worse things happen and that is an absolute lose.

Gambling is not a get rich quick type of scheme. It's a form of entertainment with compensation on the sides. You will be lucky enough if you get to be successful because of gambling because while it is possible, it rarely happens. People often think of gambling as an escape route to poverty or other sort of financial problem. It's not. It could even dig you deeper to your grave if you can't manage to do it properly. It'll never make you rich the moment you get addicted to it. You need to have specific goals, fund allocation, and limitations to reach what you are aiming for in the very beginning. Do not become obsessed on chasing winnings because it could make you lose everything you got.

If you think that you will make a lot of money on gambling, then you clearly have a very poor understanding of how casinos work and your chances of winning. No, I'm not saying you can't win. You can win a huge amount of money that can completely change your life, but the probability of that happening is very low.  I would advise you to study gambling a little deeper and maybe then you will reconsider your views on this entertainment and will visit the casino not to win a large sum of money and for the emotions of the game of chance and expectation.

Well and actually in my opinion for this problem does not have to see whether the gambler is experienced or not, because as you said sometimes those who are experienced also often experience these things. Being fooled in a gamble is very possible that anyone can't realize that they are gambling based on emotions. Previously I also said that in gambling whether or not someone is experienced or not will not fully affect, because everything will return to a person's personality. If the person has a person who is easily emotional or provoked then whatever control they have prepared will be useless, they will almost forget all of that and gamble according to their lustful desires.
But if I look at the example you gave it is very possible, meaning that it is true that experienced gamblers already know about certain conditions that they will face because they have experienced it before, so it is possible for them to think it is better to avoid it when they are emotional than to lose a lot for the umpteenth time.

Best thing to adopt is when you learn from your experienced, and that's the big edge of those experienced gamblers who manage to learn how to control things while inside gambling, knowing the set limits and try not to exceed helps them to prevent big losses, though still not a guarantee that they won't lose but it lessen the chance that they will burn all of their bankroll.
Learning from experience is a valuable lesson for everyone, especially for people who often gamble because by studying the losses that have occurred, they can learn to reduce the number of losses and will not repeat the same mistakes. But we know that not many people can do it because those who are used to gambling still want to win so they will continue to gamble. And that's why we have to know the limits that we set and always hold them so that we don't experience those big losses and can still smile even though we lose because we know that one day we will be able to win like everyone else. And when we win, we must remember ourselves and want more wins because it will be difficult to get.

That for real, if you experienced the win better to be wise and not to let the greed of aiming to win more controls you, like how the topic state it being reckless when you think you can repeatedly wins will surely harm your finances, the wrong mindset or impression that in gambling you can quickly double your money or you can win more is something that will continue to battle inside you. if we take 100 people who play games of chance and ask these 100 people why they are playing, most of the 100 people will answer that they are playing because they want to have fun, so if we ask them if they are happy when they lose, we will hear answers like : NO. but that is an obvious answer. now if we make a little comparison about fun. one person has 50$ and goes to the beach and spends it all on food, takes pictures and buys some things and goes home happy and with 0$, another person takes 50$ and goes to a restaurant to drink beer and eat with friends and takes pictures and come home very late and with 0$

another person takes 50$ and stays at home playing in some online casino, stays for a few hours and loses everything. when we put the three people together the next day and ask how your previous day was, the answer will be obvious: the guy who stayed at home gambling and lost everything in the games of chance will be sad and regret having played, if he had won he would be celebrating. so was he playing for fun or money? no doubt it was for the money. Nobody likes to lose, and it's precisely because nobody likes to lose that when people lose they play even more to recover everything they lost.

and with that they become addicted to gambling, people start to isolate themselves from the real world, they get depressed due to many defeats, that's why even if they won they wouldn't stop playing, because they want to win more, games should be seen as fun, something people look at and know I'm going to bet 10$ and if I lose it's okay and in the next game don't think about the 10$ you lost, don't bet for revenge and don't bet to recover the 10$, go back to bet 10 $ as always

     -     Your explanation was very nice ang I liked  it so much actually. Your point is good and should be one of the habit of an individual gambler's purpose. So that in the end we won't get any depress like what you had mentioned in the above. but the reality happened in the most gamblers they won't listened to other's advice ang reminders.

Because of their greediness and addiction they continued to play gambling for thinking they can win the game or hit the jackpot without noticing their losses was already big, and that's very sad truth.

Addiction goes sideways, it's not when you only win before becoming a victim of it, you can play and be at a loss and when you have the intention of recovering from the loss, you can also become addicted in that process, gambling will have your attention in that period, nothing else will matter to you again and that is how addiction starts, you can the first game and lost the rest and be in that loop forever until you take a break and you can lose and continue to lose until you also wake up from that slumber.

There are many scenarios that can increase addictions; there are people that are influenced by other gamblers winning tickets and they make up their minds that as long as people win, they will also make that money from gambling, their minds are made up and hardly you can change those people back to default, it's not only after they win addiction can occur and the ridiculous thing is that they will never accept that there are in wrong paths, addicted to anything is deadly.
