Husbands and wives working together as Jesus works with the church with love and forgiveness and comfort and taking care of each other. It's not about slaves.

Men had more than 1 wife at various times, I don't remember if it talks about women having more than 1 husband.


True happiness is knowing you're loved by Jesus and will have eternal life forever after this world passes away. People will never truly be happy until then. This world is falling apart, people are getting sicker and sicker, and violence is on the rise, and natural disasters are going to get worse and worse. Everyone is addicted to something (that's not happiness), chasing after money (it leads to unrest). You can never have true peace until you realize all the chasing after addictions (and money is the big one), is not going to give you peace, only Jesus can.

God didn't make hell for sinners. People came up with the word hell.

Women are supposed to submit to their husbands (who they have chosen to marry). Boys are supposed to submit to their mothers. As a women, this is inconsequential to me. If you know the right context the bible talks about.

I don't believe in burning in hell. When the bible talks about hell, it's translated from a word meaning roughly the grave. Without having a relationship with Jesus, your life will be spent in fear, anger, lust, greed, and it's not healthy. Working for money, is pointless, because money can become pointless, and when you die, you can't take it with you. If you die and have a relationship with Jesus Christ you get to live forever and never be sad. Sounds pretty great to me.

You must obey The Man. Just try doing something that you can't do. The Man gave you the ability to do only the things you can do. You can't do the things that you can't do because The Man didn't give you the ability to do them.
