Saudi Arabia just sent a message to Iran saying “Yemen is a redline, do not cross it”.

Over the last week, the entire momentum of the war in Yemen has shifted. While previously pro-government forces were trapped within the port city of Aden, now they are pushing the Iranian backed Houthi militia in all directions.

And the situation is escalating. Conflict News reported that a significant development that is “actually occurring is far more remarkable, and strangely almost absent from the media headlines.”

They reported “ships adorned with UAE flags arrived in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden” which “began offloading armored vehicles. This started as small columns of vehicles, which could have conceivable been ‘delivered’ to the pro-government fighters, however has now ballooned into something completely different. Hundreds of vehicles including main battle tanks, APCs, AFVs and self propelled artillery have landed in the city, and joined the fight against the mainly Shia Houthi militias.“

The boots on the ground is estimated at 3,000 troops to aid in the fight against Iranian-backed Houthi forces....

There were a few blood moons seen over the last weekend, though none were expected from forecasters.

Welcome to more vaccine Wag the Dog.

First, we had to watch this news report several times before we could even determine that it wasn't a parody. Sadly we realized it wasn't fake. Yes, they DID just lock down an entire hospital ER for nine hours and divert patients to other hospitals over a case of chickenpox. We haven't seen this much fearmongering over a primarily benign disease since the Disneyland measles scarefest.

Hm. Could it be because the CDC whistleblower case is back in the news, with Rep. Posey asking Congress for a full investigation into why CDC scientists intentionally destroyed documents and misrepresented data in their own study which linked the MMR vaccine to a 340% increased risk of autism?

But the ultimate question is this: Why are we passing all this legislation to attempt to force people to take these CDC recommended vaccines and give these vaccines to their children like this agency knows best for us when the CDC obviously lies and omits data from its own studies in an attempt to cover up the dangers?

Super Typhoon Soudelor developed into the world's most powerful storm of the year Tuesday as it took aim at Japan, Taiwan and China after trashing the Northern Marianas.

The storm was roaring across the western Pacific Ocean packing wind gusts up to 220 miles per hour (354 kph) according to the Joint Typhoon Warning Center which rated it a maximum category five.

It was stronger than Cyclone Pam, the previous strongest storm of 2015, which killed at least 15 people when it slammed into Vanuatu, also in the Pacific, five months ago.

No deaths have been attributed to Soudelor, but it left a trail of destruction across the Northern Marianas where acting governor Ralph Torres declared a "state of major disaster and significant emergency" after it struck late Sunday.

Nearly 400 people were packed in emergency shelters after Soudelor ripped roofs off houses and left residents without power, water and wastewater services.

"I've seen multiple primary power poles down; I've seen cars flipped over the road; I've seen lots of torn roofs," John Hirsh, executive director of the American Red Cross in Saipan, told Pacific Daily News.....

Legionnaires’ disease has sickened 81 people in the New York City borough of the Bronx within the last month, and the numbers are steadily rising.
An outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease in New York City has left 81 people sick, with seven of those cases resulting in death, the office of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced late Monday.

The outbreak began in mid-July in the South Bronx and is believed to have originated in water from cooling towers. The disease — which is a form of pneumonia, caused by the water-dwelling bacteria Legionella — is acquired by breathing in infected water vapors and mists in the air. It can show up in air conditioners, showers, faucets, hot tubs, cooling towers, and large plumbing systems.

This is the second major outbreak of the disease in the U.S. in a month. A Super 8 motel in Washington state voluntarily closed in early July after three cases of Legionnaires’ disease were linked to the establishment, the Associated Press reported.

Also known as Legionellosis, Legionnaires’ disease results in an estimated 18,000 hospitalizations in the U.S. each year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, but experts say the number of people infected by the disease is much higher. “It’s a fairly common type of pneumonia in the U.S.,” board-certified infectious disease specialist Amesh A. Adalja, M.D., an assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, tells Yahoo Health. Adalja says Legionnaires’ disease typically represents about 5 percent of pneumonia cases but is often underdiagnosed because the symptoms and treatment are similar.

...What do you do with a bright kid who simply hates school and ditches it constantly? Like one Virginia mom, you might think the consequence of skipping school would be flunking your classes. Like that same mom, you might be wrong.

See, despite the fact that this woman’s daughter consistently failed her English assignments and even skipped the final exam, she was given an A for the fourth quarter so she would ultimately pass the class with a D. There were other instances of mysterious passing grades on her daughter’s report card, so the Virginia mom sent an email to her teachers, asking them to fail her daughter as a consequence for ditching school.

School is almost a month away, and when it begins, the new Ontario sex-ed curriculum will be rolled out to students as early as Grade One.

Ezra Levant of TheRebel.media talks to Dr. Nadine Nyhus, a medical doctor and psychiatrist. She has many grave concerns about the curriculum.

She says much of the program's "facts" are false and unscientific, while important issues about sexuality are left out.

For instance, the curriculum makes it sound like having HIV/AIDS still allows you to lead a normal life, but Dr. Nyhus says this isn't true. The program is less about science and more about pushing a political agenda.

Ontario’s sex-ed curriculum sexualizes young children, undermines parental authority and imposes the government's morality on every Ontario family.

As a medical doctor and psychiatrist, I am struck by the lack of accurate information in the province of Ontario's new sexual education curriculum.

Ethical practice of medicine requires that risks and benefits be communicated. I believe the same should be true for talking to our teens about sex.

1. Our teens have a right to know the truth about sexually transmitted infections:

the human papillomavirus (HPV) is the main cause of cervical, anal and esophageal cancer;

our HPV vaccine only protects against four types of the virus (30 per cent of cancers are not protected against);

you can contract HPV at your first experience of intercourse while using a condom;

anal intercourse carries the greatest risk of sexually transmitted infections;

silent chlamydia infection can cause infertility.

The curriculum is silent on all this.

The curriculum is misleading about HIV (the human immunodeficiency virus), saying "with treatment, the damage that HIV does to the body's immune system can be slowed or prevented," and that with early treatment, people with HIV "have the opportunity to live a near-to-normal lifespan."

2. Our teens have a right to know that if you are infected with HIV:

you should never have intercourse without a condom for the rest of your life;

you may have to adopt children;

if female, you will not be able to breast feed;

your ability to live in other countries will be restricted;

you will have to take strong medications (two to four at a time) for the rest of your life;

missed doses can result in treatment failure (viral resistant) so your life will be regimented;

the medication can damage organs.

This curriculum significantly minimizes the reality of HIV infection. This kind of vaguely optimistic information is perhaps part of the reason for some evidence that condom use is down and the HIV infection rate is rising again among teens.

3. Our teens have a right to know the research on the value of delaying sex:

the risk of depression and suicide attempts go up three times in teens who are sexually active;

skin of the cervix is more vulnerable to infection in teens (so there's a greater risk of sexually transmitted infections);

70 per cent of teens aged 15 to 17 are not sexually active (so not everyone is doing it);

oxytocin released with sex establishes an intense bonding that will impair one's ability to make a rational decision about whether a person is a healthy partner.

4. Our teens have a right to know about the risks of pornography. It is associated with:

increased sexual aggression/offences and acceptance of rape myths (for instance, that females like or cause rape);

decreased condom use and increased number of sexual partners.

We need to be aware that pornography in 2015 is different than it was 20 or even 10 years ago — it is more aggressive and degrading to women. I would hope that the "experts" writing a curriculum for our children would be more concerned about children than about supporting the image that pornography is fine.

5. Our teens have a right to know that an October 2013 RCMP assessment of sex trafficking reports:

the vast majority of trafficked victims are Canadian citizens, from all walks of life;

girls from age 14 to 22 are at greatest risk of being trafficked (so this information should be started at Grade 7).

The curriculum, which is supposed to be all about safety, does not mention this risk.

The research is clear that trafficking increases where prostitution is legal.

Premier Kathleen Wynne says she has concerns about the new federal anti-prostitution law, and she has asked Ontario's attorney general to review it.

6. Our teens have a right to be exposed to different world views.

They need to understand that this curriculum is written from a worldview that seems to present purpose as irrelevant and pleasure as primary. Our teens need to consider that many hold a teleological worldview, one which understands things to have a purpose. For example, the scientific documentation of oxytocin release with sexual intercourse would have the purpose of enhancing bonding in a partnership that will increase the stability of the basic family unit so children have a safe place to grow up.

A new curriculum requires transparency and true collaboration. The government needs to be honest about the complete inadequacy of this curriculum and withdraw it.

(NEWSER) – An archaeological dig now in its 20th year has uncovered the entrance gate to Gath, the ancient Biblical city of the Philistines and onetime home of the giant Goliath. Before the king of Damascus destroyed it in 830 BCE, Gath was the largest city in the land for hundreds of years, reports the Jerusalem Post. The Bible refers to the massive city gate itself, in the story of David's escape from King Saul to the king of Gath. In addition to the city gate, scientists have also unearthed an "impressive fortification wall," several buildings that include a temple and iron production facility, and what the Post calls the earliest "decipherable" Philistine inscription ever found—which contains two names similar to "Goliath."

"After finding a huge fortification, it’s clearly the most important city of the 10th and ninth centuries," says the archaeologist in charge of the dig, per i24. The long-term dig is part of the Ackerman Family Bar-Ilan University Expedition to Gath, a look at the archaeology and history of one of the largest "tells" (aka ancient ruin mounds) in Israel. The area in central Israel, in the Tel Zafit National Park in the Judean Foothills, has been inhabited almost continuously since the 5th millennium BCE, the researchers note in a press release. (Also recently discovered in Israel? A mask unlike any other.)

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — Three North Carolina men fearing a government takeover and martial law stockpiled weapons, ammunition and tactical gear while attempting to rig home-made explosives, according to charges announced by the Justice Department on Monday.

The men from Gaston County, near Charlotte, were arrested by federal authorities on Saturday after more than a month's investigation.

Walter Eugene Litteral, 50, Christopher James Barker, 41, and Christopher Todd Campbell, 30, are accused of stockpiling guns and ammunition, as well as attempting to manufacture pipe bombs and live grenades from military surplus "dummy" grenades, according unsealed criminal complaints released Monday.

The close to 60 pages of information compiled by federal authorities since July include allegations Litteral planned to makes explosives out of tennis balls covered in nails and coffee cans filled with ball bearings.

According to the documents, both Litteral and Campbell spoke openly about their opposition to Jade Helm 15, a series of ongoing special forces training missions in several Southwestern states that has drawn suspicion from residents who fear it is part of a planned military takeover.

In addition to ammunition for a long-range .338 caliber rifle, the authorities said Litteral purchased hand-held radios, Kevlar helmets, body armor and face masks in preparation for an armed resistance to the feared military occupation.

Litteral was also planning to purchase an assault rifle along with ammunition for Barker, whose past convictions for possession of stolen goods and cocaine barred him from possessing a gun, according to the documents.

The FBI began its investigation in mid-June after receiving a tip about Litteral and Barker attempting to make homemade explosives, and later began investigating Campbell based on similar information that he was attempting to reconstruct grenades.

Litteral was quoted in the documents calling his planned homemade explosives "game changers," and authorities allege he planned to test the devices with Barker in Shelby, North Carolina.

The federal conspiracy charges carry a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. In addition, Campbell has been charged with a separate firearms charge punishable by 10 years imprisonment and a $10,000 fine.

In addition to the FBI, agencies assisting in the investigation include the North Carolina Highway Patrol, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Federal Air Marshal Service as well as local police in Charlotte, Belmont, Mount Holly and Gastonia.

The men will remain in federal custody pending the outcome of detention hearings scheduled for Thursday. It was not immediately clear if they had attorneys.
