I got that email too, but that’s for new orders. My order was placed in January at 5k per U6.
Back in early January I spoke to them to order four U6 kits for my farm. Basically 4x6 bundled together with power supplies. Hotmine emailed me back asking for my shipping address and told me my order was confirmed, and that they would reach back out early February to collect payment and ship. They never did, so I emailed Hotmine again and they delayed it to mid February. It is now the 17th and nothing from hotmine. I dont think I will carry out my order at this point.
Strange. I just got an email in Russian from them about their x6 and u6 both being available starting Feb 20th. price quoted was in both Ukrainian Hryvna and US.Hotmine X6 - 7 Th / s + - 5%
The cost in UAH is 39 200 (5 600 for the equipment and 33 600 for the software)
The cost in USD is 1,450 (200 for equipment and 1,250 for software)
Hotmine U6 - 28 Th / s + -5%
The cost in UAH is 164 600 (28 000 for equipment and 136 600 for software)
The cost in USD is 6 100 (1000 for equipment and 5 100 for software)
* The price includes a power supply for U6

I made a thread in the marketplace section to discuss/plan if we get enough folks. Seems the consensus is that a 10 piece minimum will likely be required. Discussion here:

They got back to me today to say they don't ship to the US currently and don't have a reseller here. If enough of us are interested we might be able to place a large enough order to make it worth their while, though. PM me if you're interested, I'd be good with coordinating (or buying in if someone wants a bunch and just needs a few people to jump in, either way).
Does anyone have any of these upgrade kits in hand?

finnaly, they replied to me (same prices)
correct me if I'm wrong, but If I understand right, they said that you must order 10 units minimum for international delivery, this is not applied for customer pickup in Ukraine

I was ready to pre-pay (in any form, be it BTC or USD), but after 2 weeks of conversation they ended up saying that they were "unable to serve an order". Kinda strange business model, to say the least.
I received an email from them recently.
As of 10/19, they quoted price of X6 kit of $950 USD, prepayment, with a 6 week lead.
No mention of the X5 kit.

I don't think so. That's a big ask, to prepay for a 6 week lead. A lot can/could happen in that time.

Well I think it's time to give up on this. It's a dud. To the trash bin S5s and S3s they go.

If they want to get more orders together, I'm game. I emailed them from their site and waiting for a response. I realize this could be used to upgrade my C1s, and I have a pile of them. So I could put in a big order for these if they work in an Antminer C1. They should. I think they are all the same boards and the C1s just had the water cooling blocks instead of the fins.
