It seems to me better to invest only in LTC. The price of Ripple is falling all the time and I very much doubt that by the end of the year the price will grow 2 times. 
Both Ripple and Litecoin has been doing greatly in the market of late with litecoin even outperforming other digital currencies at some point.

In my own opinion, Litecoin is better than ripple because the statistics in the market says that ripple is only growing because of the hype of the market while LC has more investors in the market.

I think I like Litecoin better as it's still community owned and transfers are cheap.
I heard that lots of Ripple are centralized so it defeats the purpose of decentralization.

I think that both these coins are promising, but Litecoin recently stuck in place and no news about it is not heard. I think that is worth invest in Ripple, this coin I find more promising.
They are both very popular, but I would invest in Litecoin, because of all altcoins is second only to Ethereum (source bitdegree.org). Litecoin fixed some drawbacks of Bitcoin and now is one of the best altcoins.

I would choose Ripple, it offers very fast transactions and low fees. Litecoin is not recognized in some countries, user rights are not protected, etc.

Ripple is almost a centralized coin, It has a big supply and it is the third-ranking crypto coin regards coinmarketcap, But I would not prefer Ripple. Because Between Ripple and Litecoin, Litecoin is far better than Ripple. Litecoin is a very strong and stable coin than Ripple. Ripple shouldn't stay in the third place in crypto rankings.

Both coins can go up. But it seems to me that the more reliable coin is LTC. This is a strong project that I like for a long time.
Both is good. But if ur looking for an increase of value to hundreds of dollars by the end of the year, go with Litecoin. Ripple is mostly a long term thing. Besides Litecoin has the second most secure blockchain, next to Bitcoin. It’s almost identical to Bitcoin, so any trust and adoption rate of Bitcoin should bleed over to Litecoin.
