If there is a new project present and can rival bitcoin then it is very difficult for us to accept because before bitcoin is also pricey and it takes time to rise to the current figure, but if ripple is a lot of interest and we can count on it will not be impossible to compete bitcoin and then we will just see the development of ripple and we hope it can be as we expect.

It's true that Ripple is great for investing, and it also has cheap and fast transaction fees. Ripple is also high volume and also popular.
But that doesn't mean Ripple can be the next Bitcoin, because Ripple is a centralized coin, it is very different from Bitcoin which is fully
decentralized. Actually there have been many coins that have tried to replace Bitcoin, but until now nothing has been successful.

As we all have seen ripple has been quite strong these past few days and with all that it has done over the past months compared to most other currencies and the launch of xrapid is actually starting to show in its price.
There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?

$10 sounds excessive. We did have $3 a few years back at the height of the 2017 / early 2018 frenzy... but the price fell back quickly. I do believe in the long-term potential of the coin, and they are one of the leaders in terms of integration with the real world. But I don't think this has anything to do with the launch of xRapid, which has been live for a couple of years now. I'm not sure about it being 'the next bitcoin' either, as the use case is entirely different. We do also (still) have the court cases with Ripple, which is probably depressing the price. Long term though, yes, if they can get through the legal stuff then the future looks promising. I just don't know about $10.

Sto drinking the Kool-aid. Ripple is the bastard child and the traitor of cryptocurrency. It was born out of opportunism of its founders to get rich. A centralized issuance, huge pre-mine in the name of Ripple foundation and its ridiculous wannabe tactics of cozying up to the banks are just some of the issues with it.
Ripple poses as a replacement to Swift by using its own token for transfers. This will never happen. The banks will come up with their own centralized coin than dole out their money to Ripple founders.

I don't see how ripple can be next bitcoin. The basic motto behind creation of ripple and bitcoin are completely different. One is created for emphasis on decentralization and the other is a utility token for a company handling payments.

No doubt ripple is Avery good coin. Many people like it. They have served many project update they promised m they have a good team and many investors and most of them are into banking sectors. And for many these is a problem. Cause ripple is not fully decentralised in this matter they are backed by many banks and money makings funds and and some how a part of it depends on them. This is why people in this community don't like ripple very much. But the idea of ripple and the future is very bright. So if you like it you can hold it.

I really don't understand on what capacity does Ripple stand as a rival to Bitcoin. Its rather amusing to see the post. Ripple is still far behind the reach of Bitcoin and may never get their till the end of time. Bitcoin is the unrivaled king of cryptocurrency and that has been since the inception of the industry.

Ripple does not have the task of necessarily overtaking bitcoin or taking its place. Both currencies can exist together and create a competitive market for each other, and thus increase the interest and value of each other. There is no sense that one of them would replace each other-the more coins there are, the more stable the market.

I don't agree with you. Bitcoin is bitcoin. There have  no next bitcoin.  Ripple is the next ripple. Don't compare with bitcoin. That's not mean ripple is not good. Ripple is very strong project and increasing very high. But i can't say it's next bitcoin. Bitcoin is only one. It's have no next.

I don't think that Ripple is the next bitcoin, as far as I know, Riplle focuses on financial systems like Paypal and is widely used by large companies for transactions or financial systems. bitcoin and Ripple are not the same, they are different from each other and certainly cannot be compared to each other.

Ripple becoming the next bitcoin, Are you kidding? In my opinion it is impossible, because we can see a lot of differences between the two cryptocurrencies, so that for Ripple to be like bitcoin, it is impossible even though later the price of bitcoin drops to be very cheap, of course there will not be a single altcoin that will be able to replace bitcoin as one of the greatest cryptos ever.

Im afraid it is not. Ripple is way more centralized than bitcoin, that's why i don't think Ripple can become the next bitcoin.
Anyone can mining bitcoin with their mining device, or mining farms but cannot mine Ripple coin.
Not to mention that many coin lost in Bitcoin circulation, causing Bitcoin become more valuable.

Ripple is a good coin in cryptocurrency and it is currently in a good position. Ripple's price has been rising very well in a few months. So everyone is now thinking of it as the next bitcoin. But Bitcoin has a very big position in the stingy market. I also hope Ripple reaches a better position in the crypto market But it is not possible to beat Bitcoin.

There are many coins that can be a good competitor of bitcoin, so why you chose ripple? Its a centralized coin while bitcoin is not.

I think its not going to happen. There might be other coins that can overtake bitcoin for having better functions but it doesnt mean bitcoin will become obsolete.

in which side ripple could be next bitcoin ? riple have strong community and supported by many company, but its centralized i  my opinion. there are alot new project that have better quality than ripple to be next bitcoin. bitcoin has special place in crypo market even new project occur in market.

Being centralized is one disadvantage of ripple. But we don't deny the fact that their tx fee is cheap and fast and they are very appropriate as payment method. However, being centralized, we don't know what will happen next if someone from their team sold their share or exited? So really far from being the next bitcoin.
limitations and the slow rate of increase in price seem to be running in place. Well, since I found out that XRP is a centralized coin, I think that the position of the coin will be very difficult to beat bitcoin, even ethereum. a few years ago, this coin was once the center of attention. however, I support the statement you said.

It will never be possible because Bitcoin is the best currency of all time and Bitcoin is spread all over the world. various organizations or businesses will now use Bitcoin, so the value of Bitcoin will increase and the number of users will increase. However ripple is a good token but will never come close to bitcoin Because there are many good currencies under bitcoin.

Ripple will never come close to bitcoin just because it is centralized. No one will trust their money to another person for safekeeping and at the same time have no guarantees against falling prices.

I don't think so ripple can become the next bitcoin actually no coin can be the next bitcoin or replace it .As  Bitcoin is far more liquid, with much larger volumes than every other altcoins. Bitcoin has the largest developer ecosystem with more software and more implementations than any other altcoins. So Ripple the next bitcoin? My answer is no.

ripple is in the top rank of cmc now, nothing can replace bitcoin, and i think xrp is not a good alt too, there are still many who will surpass it in the near future. there will never be an alt that can replace btc as the king of crypto.
