strong enough in the last few days it doesn't mean it will change bitcoin or will be the next bitcoin. not even for ETH. your prediction is a little over the top.

If the price of ripple reaches $ 10, then the total market cap value of the total supply will be $ 1 trillion and I think this is too big because the market cap value of the entire cryptocurrency market is currently $ 390 billion. I think that if the price of ripple returns to $ 1 is good enough for investors because the current trend is not looking good for altcoins
Yeah right, I'm really not sure the XRP price can go up to $10, that's a huge price for Ripple which has a lot of supply. Even though their current development is very good but if a coin which has a lot of supply like XRP it will be very difficult to reach $10. In my opinion, reaching ATH ($3) is logical compared to $10.

Ripple to be the next bitcoin isn't gonna happen. Ripple once took the second position of ethereum. It was mentioned to be a manipulation to reach the top position, but the growth was quite a phenomenal one. As it partners with more and more number of private banks and financial service renders it is given an outlook of completely centralized one.

According to me, it have been partnering and getting into real-time usage which is must for growth. So with trust one can invest on ripple and it isn't the next bitcoin. Ripple will be always ripple.
Indeed, ripple were so far different to bitcoin. Ripple is an altcoin that once become a dead coin. Ripple will only have a title as a good coin but cannot compared as bitcoin. We can actual see what were looking for by just comparing its value. We all know that the second in line to bitcoin were ethereum, and from this case Ripple should defeat first Ethereum. And as far as i know bitcoin price were more than 10x higher than ethereum, so how much more with ripple.

There are many issues that ripple is battling at the moment, to say that ripple is the next bitcoin is a bit absurd, I mean ethereum is way better than the ripple, when it comes to usage ripple is at second place, but nowhere near bitcoin, so I think ripple should overtake ethereum before that conclusion and make a big move in the market, and clear all the cases being thrown to them.

I see Ripple as a coin that is quite stable when the price of bitcoin is rising. unlike other coins which are highly volatile. but I guess no coin that can replace bitcoin yet, even ETH.

What does it take to replace BTC?
Maybe I'm not very smart but I really don't understand the meaning of all these "who will replace BTC???" / " [N] is this the new BTC???"/"The BTC KILLER has appeared on the market!!!" and other strange and funny posts on this subject.

And it is not clear what exactly all these people want to see/get in order to finally replace the BTC that they have been trying to displace for so many years still without results

Ripple is a very good coin,
Many people may think of Ripple as the next bitcoin but in my personal experience I don't think Ripple can ever be the equivalent of bitcoin.
Because if you look at the total supply of two coins, you can get a lot of ideas.
Ripple's total supply is 100 Billion and bitcoin's total supply is 21 Million,
Also every year Ripple sells their reserved Ripple tokens to cover the costs of themselves and the team management.
So I don't think Ripple will ever be the equivalent of bitcoin.
 Thanks.

I like your opinion on Ripple, what this coin has achieved so far is remarkable. Despite all the negative news about Ripple, what you mentioned is ripple's partnership with many banks around the globe. I think this will be a good point for ripple to enter into a new position in this market. But it won't be able to pass BTC in the future.

I give zero chance for Ripple to be "next Bitcoin". In my opinion, Ripple has no bright future. It gives no sign of a real increase. It doesn't even get close to Ethereum in terms of market cap.

i agree with you if ripple is not the next bitcoin,
but the fact ripple become the TOP cryptocurrency in coinmarketcap list, its number 4 in coinmarketcap mate
check this https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/xrp
about the future of ripple, no body knows, but i believe this alt will always be in the list of TOP crypto in coinmarketcap

As we all have seen ripple has been quite strong these past few days and with all that it has done over the past months compared to most other currencies and the launch of xrapid is actually starting to show in its price.
There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?

I'm glad you are asking because you are not sure, and your hunch is correct it will never beat Bitcoin and whoever talk about that Ripple will beat Bitcoin are either working on Ripple or partners or bag holders of Ripple, that are very eager to get rich quick.
They have to get past Ethereum which is leaving Ripple by miles, but you can still dream, it's free to dream you know.

XRP is popular with banks and institutions after BTC I trusted ripple as the top rated alt unfortunately it's not upto the mark from the past two years.

Despite being the best centralised coin it is struggling to prove its capability, after analysing few research I believe It could reach $0.50 by the end of the year a short time profit is possible, let's wait and see.

Ripple is a good centralized coins without much volatility and there will be investors who might like those and we might see more centralized cryptocurrencies in the coming years as more companies are planning to come up with their cryptocurreny including Facebook and PayPal.
No coin can replace the reputation of bitcoin but since the core is struggling with scaling and if any of the fork coins comes up with a good solution then i wont be surprised if people starts using them.

I don't think so. Bitcoin and ripple aare very much different from each other fundamentally. Bitcoin is a fully decentralised crypto. And it's the first crypto to this space. It has the biggest marketcap. Almost 50-60% of whole markets marketcap. In other hand ripple is banking based token. And it's not fully decentralised. Cause it's backed by many banks and institutions. And it's marketcap is eventually small than bitcoin. It ranks 3rd 4th in the whole market. So it's very hard for ripple to compite with bitcoin. That's it

Ripple can't overtake bitcoin in the marketcap. Though xrp staying at good position in crypto market but compared to other crypto it hasn't done really well after dropping from it's ATH price. So base on this stats, I think ripple won't be worth 10 usd price soon. Even if it reach there in future, bitcoin will increase up more within that time.

Both of two, is good coin by their position. But comparing them with each others specially with btc, isn't good. ripple is centralized coin, with large supply. So ripple will never reach the price & dominance that bitcoin already have in market.no doubt, ripple has better ideas, has investors for its support, that  will take it to better position but it couldn't win if fight with bitcoin

Can't imagine how many of you there are on this forum - the xrp believers.
Ripple as company do a lot of good and quite profitable projects, collaborations here and there.
However, XRP still remains as dead coin - if you dont' believe me just zoom out chart to last 3 years.
Every crypto hype there was during past 2 years didn't give XRP second live, what could revive it now?

ripple company continuesly dump their token each month, to much selling pressure and unclear regulation from u.s make ripple loss their steam

ripple going to move other country with more friendly regulation, but do you think will attract more adopter/buyer?

total market diluted ripple is to much, their printing coin every day and dump on market.

eth only leader alt whom can side by side with bitcoin  Grin
