I don't think it is possible that Ripple can be the next bitcoin, bitcoin technology is old but until now it's still efficient. if you want to compare it might be like ETH / BNB. but whatever this is I don't think about the next bitcoin. I am confident that Bitcoin will always dominate this cryptoqurrency market.

As we all have seen ripple has been quite strong these past few days and with all that it has done over the past months compared to most other currencies and the launch of xrapid is actually starting to show in its price.
There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?

I have seen similar statements many times, but I believe that Bitcoin will be alone and no cryptocurrency can become the second Bitcoin. The fact is that Bitcoin is the progenitor of cryptocurrencies and for a new Bitcoin to appear, it should only be a new direction. And so in the field of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is one and will be it until the end of its days. As for Ripple, I believe that each cryptocurrency has its own place and it was created for specific purposes. And therefore, Ripple or other cryptocurrencies cannot become the second BTC.

I'm not sure about that man, there's no next bitcoin, riple is a riple and bitcoin is still bitcoin. what will distinguish it is the selling value of the coin itself. I'm not sure there will be any coins that will replace bitcoin itself. in my opinion Bitcoin cannot be replaced by any coin.

It is impossible for Ripple to be the next bitcoin base on demand, supply, value and uses they are different and Ripple is very far in bitcoin. XRP is just good for sending transaction very fast and the fees is too low compared to bitcoin but it doesn't mean that it will like bitcoin or be the next bitcoin, I doubt it.

I can't find any reason to consider Ripple as the next bitcoin. I also don't understand why some people sometimes consider other cryptocurrencies as the next bitcoin. Bitcoin has become one of the most popular and accepted cryptocurrencies to date. The volatility of the Bitcoin price and the way in which its price has risen has more potential than any other cryptocurrency. Observing the price stability of Ripple and its past value, it is easy to understand that Ripple will not emerge as the next Bitcoin. So Ripple should be compared to any other cryptocurrency but it is not compatible with Bitcoin.

Ripple has nothing similar to bitcoin and it won't be the next bitcoin. There are many tokens that are competing with Ripple to establish a global payment system. It's hard to replicate bitcoin as it's prime advantage is trust and decentralization while Ripple is a simple token that is years old but yet to take any ground. While newer tokens with more advanced technology are going to challenge it.

Time will let you how much popular is ripple unlike other crypto currencies it does not use block chain, XRP is official firm that has earned the trust of numerous banks and banks are increasing their investment in XRP.

The key differences between XRP and other coins is XRP is a centralised version of decentralised technology this will definitely make people to invest for long-term and it has a bright future as well.

No, XRP is far from bitcoin and it is impossible for this digital currency to become next bitcoin. All I like in XRP is the fast and very small transaction fee than in bitcoin but in value, XRP is too far to bitcoin. Also bitcoin has a limited supply with higher demand. XRP even with higher demand , the total supply is also higher compared to bitcoin.

Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, while Ripple is a decentralized transaction network and also has a digital currency called XRP so, it is very difficult for XRP to match Bitcoin let alone beat bitcoin as one of the largest digital currencies in the world today, in Regarding price, XRP is very far from the price of Bitcoin, so, it is impossible if this could happen now or in the future because I think Bitcoin will never be defeated by any alt coin.
True, and this should also be known by newbies who often speculate with a joke comparison between Bitcoin and Ripple, even though it is very clear that the two are very different, both in terms of level, price, supply and system as well.

Ripple is not decentralized. Plain and simple. We should not be comparing Ripple with Bitcoin because for me, Bitcoin is king. No coin can overtake Bitcoin that is why this is the only coin that I invest in. Next would be Ethereum, which for me is the only contender for the title King of cryptocurrencies.
Agree, i also not really like rippe because it's centralized coins. no one ever can beat bitcoin. bitcoin is a coin that makes the crypto and blockchain space known more than ever. And not only that, because almost all altcoins even follow the movement of bitcoin in terms of price

It is very strange to make an analogy between bitcoin and ripple, because they are two completely different coins, and in my opinion ripple will never be able to resist bitcoin, because in my opinion they have not equal forces.
Yes, both of them do not have the same power and in this case it is clear that Bitcoin is a very strong coin and it would be very strange if someone made a comparison between Bitcoin and Ripple, because Ripple is currently very difficult to increase in price, while Bitcoin is very easy to the price goes up, although the decline is also very easy, so Ripple is not on the same level as Bitcoin.

Ripple might be the following USDT as they are supported up by the banks. It is concentrated, in spite of the fact that it's anything but a negative thing yet there is an opportunity for market control which is a disadvantage to certain financial specialists. Given that they can make their coin or to constantly gracefully the market, request won't be high without a doubt and that would be a contention to its cost, obviously for the financial specialists.

Ripple will only have a title as a good coin but cannot compared as bitcoin. Bitcoin has a huge market  cap 50-60% of whole market. In other hand ripple is a crypto which works for banking system.

Well, for me it's not gonna happen. Why? Because Ripple is just an altcoin and it will remain altcoin forever. Bitcoin is the most supported coin in almost all exchanges out there even here in my country all exchanges prioritize Bitcoin on it's launch. Ripple on the other hand is a centralized crypto and that is one of the problem enthusiasts and investors are taking into consideration which is the privacy. We are here for decentralization so I don't think a centralized coin will ever replace Bitcoin on it's throne. Ethereum can't even do that anyways so it sounds too good to be true for Ripple.
The thing with ripple is the total supply that's just so high it's unreal tbh. it just doesn't make sense for ripple price to go up otherwise it will eat up large number of crypto market share. Ripple price as of now is already the best price point. Not too much not too low. idk why people keep asking who's the next bitcoin while bitcoin is not gonna go anywhere anytime soon and you can't ignore the fact that everytime ordinary people mention crypto it's bitcoin that what they meant.

I don't think so. In my opinion it's kind of not possible. Bitcoin and ripple fundamentally very much diffrent from each other. Bitcoin the first crypto of these all crypto market. It Is decentralised. It loved by people and all the support come from community or people. It has a huge market cap like it has a market cap 50-60% of whole market. In other hand ripple is a crypto which works for banking system. And it's kind of not decentralised. Cause it backed my many banks and big institutional investors. And the market cap is big but not like bitcoin. So it's relly hard for ripple to cross bitcoin.

I really wonder why someone will want to compare Bitcoin and Ripple side by side, the comparison is awkward. How can one compare a centralized project aiming to curb cross-border payment issues with the pacesetter of crypto (Bitcoin) which is decentralized and fits into all sectors with regards to acceptability. We should never compare any altcoin to the king,, BTC, it doesn't really make any sense at all. I saw a couple of threads about "the next bitcoin or Bitcoin killer" lol, makes me laugh so hard since it looks more like baseless illusions.

If XRP does not have acceptance then it will not have that dream price!

It is also a crypto that has a very high money supply, and the foundation has a large amount of XRP.

This is a fear for investors.

If this is not changed, the new prices will not arrive ...

XRP Price should be at least 3$ in 2020
Everything can happen on the crypto market. However, Ripple is not a cryptocurrency as we understand it. Therefore, it will never replace Bitcoin or Ethereum. Ripple, however, might be used in the future by all banks. It is very fast and convenient in transactions.
