It's not strange at all actually. Roobet is one of the most popular crypto gambling sites out there which is why their team aren't very active in this forum anymore just like Stake's team.

This forum isn't their top priority anymore like it once was, but it's still a priority for them considering their regular contests and ongoing signature campaign.

For some reason, the current images just show Bitcointalk image proxy error, which does no good for advertising purposes. The OP (absolutely-positioned) has been offline for a while. Maybe he could log into the account to rectify the image links.
I remember this suggestion was made before but the announcement post was not fixed. Maybe Hhampuz no longer has contact point to absolutely-positioned and the person in charge of marketing from Roobet team and have conversation with Hhampuz, did not or forgot to forward this information to the person who owns @absolute-positioned account.

Actually yes since people somehow speculating to see some good updates just like what they post on X.com or in their social media pages. But it seems that they are confident that their thread will continue to run good and they just let their campaign running here.

Also I think everything is fine here so they didn't see anything need to change for a while since people still satisfied with things they have done. What's important here is they are still running good marketing campaign since with that we can still see their presence here in forum.
It is obvious that the focus of advertising campaigns has shifted to social networks, streams, influencers, and such a way to once again remind about yourself with a new informative post on the forum has apparently come to be considered too insignificant an advertising method to attract customers. But it should be noted that the target audience of such forums and such topics as this one is very interested in receiving news from a casino that they are familiar with. This also somehow contributes to communication between people, and at the same time, good mentions of a casino when communicating with a person unfamiliar with such a casino potentially help to attract a new client.
I would not ignore such advertising methods as simply regularly updating specialized casino topics. Including this topic.

Maybe if lots of people will encounter this kind of issue maybe they will find a good solution for this issue. But since this is rare situation I guess they will just give a warning and that's it.
Yeah, of course it's a rare situation, but in this case we are talking about a fairly large amount of funds mistakenly sent to the wrong address. And I think that in this case devs casino should try to figure out how to try to return this money to the client. Although of course this seems to be a classic case, when as they say "not your keys, not your money" and the chances of getting it are almost zero.

Yeah that's little off for that situation since for sure there's situation that we might create a mistake for sending those funds on wrong network and they should have proper solution to help their costumers. But what can we do right? if they have clear warning that they are not supporting other side networks that's why the only thing we could do is to be more careful sending our funds using BSC since so that we will not commit the same mistake made by the compromised gambler.
Everything need to be supported according to their Terms of Service, FAQs and guides on customer suppport for their staffs and users. For big and common cryptocurrencies for example on ERC20 or BSC, with same addresses, they can support users very easily. However there are other things to consider as risk on the platform and its hot wallets. If user made mistake with transaction on wrong blockchain, and it's for a shit token, it's risky for Roobet team to engage with such.

If there are warnings from Roobet team when a user submits a withdrawal or gets a receiving address, user is fully responsible to read the warning message and be careful by checking details before finalize it to Roobet team or a trade partner.

I appreciate if Roobet team can consider support on users to recover fund mistakenly sent with clear terms and charged fees, that can be expensive too. With these support terms and expensive charged fees, users will no longer be able to complain and they have to change themselves to be more careful.

This is what I don't like, if they are not supporting bsc then the transaction should not go through so that such mistake will not happen. Is it that the blockchain  needs more advanced developmental system? The blockchain developers should improve on this to avoid sending funds to another network. I did a similar transaction in Ton network. Now in Ton network, their is a memo tag code  which you have to add when you are  sending to the receiver's address. But didn't notice it because it was not added at the initial time and I made the transaction, it went successfully but I didn't receive it. So I have to chat up the two parties involved and for weeks the funds were reversed to me. But I don't know that can happen here since this is casino and they are saying that they don't accept BSC network and that is your funds are gone because they can't do anything to reverse them since they themselves don't operate with the particular network. But if they are using the address, they suppose have the network. Let them do things in fear way.

Hello, I have an interesting situation with RooBet.

I made a deposit by mistake to wrong network. I sent 3.1ETH from my metamask wallet bsc network to their ETH wallet, now the money is hanging in their wallet but on bsc network.

I am attaching all the data:

I wrote to their support to connect to the wallet and send the money back. But they replied that the entire system is automated and they can't help.

Is there really no way out in this case? if these wallets are assigned to some exchange, then the exchange could send the money back?

I understand where they are coming from. The fact that that ETH has stayed in that wallet for all those months without moving means access to private keys to the addresses is near to impossible for security purposes

Maybe you could try pushing them to adopt the BSC network as well. ETH network fees ares still so high anyway.
I remember my deposit to Stake.com where I forgot to include a tag for my deposit, but Stake.com managed to resolve it for me, although it was on a different network or blockchain in my case. When it comes to tokens like this being deposited, it's really hard to recover them. It's better if it's the actual coin because it can still automatically deposit into your account. From what I know, your address for BNB and ETH is the same, like on Stake.com, so even if you send it to the wrong network, it will still be credited to your casino wallet.
I think it's been quite a while since we all advised this player to contact the casino's customer support and ask them to solve the problem once again.
The BTC bull run has turned his ETH into a very significant amount, which is certainly too much of a shame to lose. And of course it's worth continuing to insist on returning this large amount.

So, the only option now is that a moderator on this forum, who has contacts with higher-level individuals at roobet.com, might be willing to help me resolve this problem for a fee.

Customer support belongs to that team in Roobet company.

For sure they will not be entertained for that matter if they ask the help of forum admins since provably that they will take care first the current activities happened in the forum rather than spending some time on things that unrelated to them.

Also I guess its wrong to call out those unrelated personalities in this case since they are not the one who can solve this issue. Better to direct their concerns on their support so that they would get those answers that they want. The affected user just need to follow up his case to notify them and also get some update on his case. Roobet is good casino so for sure that any legitimate issues will be handled well.

Just as user above mentioned, Doge, LTC, Trc(usdt), XRP, SOL and POL. All these network are also cheaper while using them to make deposit and withdrawal from some of the gambling site that listed these coin to their sites.

Yeah. It seems like this is the most reasonable and obvious explanation for the difficulties with adding payments to BSC in this casino. And you are absolutely right that devs believe that the cryptocurrencies that Roobet.com uses and that have acceptable small fees, such as TRX or DOGE, are enough. LTC is also a pretty convenient cryptocurrency. And of course, cases like those with users who mixed up blockchains are extremely rare.

Indeed, I am however imagining what next could happen once that amount in that address keeps growing all the way to let's say $100,000  Grin Would they finally think about getting it back to the victim?
