I will understand when Roobet ceases promoting itself as the casino that respects the anonymity of its players.

Smart play on words now they changed it to "Incognito" instead of "Anonymously". So now you can hide from other players but not from Roobet itself

They discreetly changed only one word... Nicely played. After all, someone is reading our ramblings here.

They are being a massive a$$hole for not issuing any official statement about this. I guess they think that it is better for new players to be 'pleasantly surprised' after depositing on their platform.

As a business owner then you wont really be having no choice but to deal with it even though this will oppose total anonymity but do we really think that they do love such changes? No its not.
It is just they do need to comply or else you would close your business.
^ That is right, once a gambling casino becomes heavily regulated, there must be a KYC verification, they have to make the process of reputed gambling sites and becomes legitimately operated with heavy regulation that following the government's law in order to follow their jurisdictions.
Nevertheless, the only simple of having KYC is this, (to save you and also themselves), that is how will work the know your customer. then as I said, it is our choice now to choose which gambling sites that suit to us,.
This is an online business, what none of you realize is the simple fact that if you are registered in a place that makes KYC a legal forced thing, then you can move it anywhere you want. There is no problem being in that nation, as long as you register your company in some other nation. So go get a curacao or whatever license, and then keep ruling roobet without KYC requirement and that would be fine, nobody would have to give you KYC and it would go on without a hitch, but if you live in a nation where KYC is forced by you in the law and you apply that to the business because "it is the law" that means you are giving up right away.

Just register it somewhere else, there are plenty of places all around the world where you can register a casino, and then you would not have to be forced to get KYC as well. To say that they have nothing they could do is just naive.

Sad to see these changes since I enjoyed gambling in Roobet now and then. Looks like this crappy KYC change is permanent in this site.

Does Roobet just became regulated by a government very recently or they have been regulated by a government for a long time? I'm quite curious since they didn't require kyc before.
I don't think they have been regulated by the government for a long period. This was probably a recent change and they had to comply screwing over a major portion of gamblers who prefer to play anonymously without providing KYC.

This has to be understand by some gamblers because Roobet is being regulated by the government and stop comparing this to other site who are also regulated under their Curacao license, Roobet might be on a different situation right now, we all have to follow the law after all and if you feel unsafe with KYC, you still have the choice so don’t panic.
I get it now why they implemented a mandatory level 1 KYC to all Roobet accounts. Does Roobet just became regulated by a government very recently or they have been regulated by a government for a long time? I'm quite curious since they didn't require kyc before.

It has been said that this has become Roobet's policy which is part of the law, so the implementation of KYC may be necessary.
I'm sure roobet gamblers will win a big multiplier and then after that they will withdraw now will the drawer do KYC? of course with big money they will do anything for me it's safe if roobet hides the user's identity safely for me this is nothing wrong roobet will definitely do its best

That will be their business because no one knows in the future whether the popular crypto gambling site will be the same as roobet because of the existing regulations?
^Let them be, it up to the gamblers now if they will be preferred to reveal their identity to the Roobet team.
This is also in my mind that should KYC is on a big-money withdrawal, just like if there is wanted to withdraw thousands of dollars, but that is their choice, it is now a part of them to have KYC verification. If you are a small-time gambler that could afford only a small fund to gamble or probably just you want of having fun, probably KYC will really bother you.
If we are talking thousand dollars in withdrawal then theres no doubt that majority of gamblers would definitely do that KYC and thats for the sake of money and trust would only comes next in line.
Just like what others been saying that regulations like this would really be common in next years because government wont really be that blind on letting these businesses would be out of their grasp.

That's the problem that even highly reputed casinos face whenever they start asking their customers for KYC as customers start thinking that the site is not interested in paying him and is doing everything against him to stop him, but that's not the case with every site out there. There are some decent websites which even try to hide each of their customer's personal identity but what can even they do when the pressure is too high from the higher authorities?

If those who are against the KYC are very active players at roobet, then I'm quite sure roobet will consider to do something.
But if most of the complains are coming from this forum member who are not even playing at roobet, there is no good reasons for roobet to consider about the complains.
I am not an active player in Roobet myself, but that doesn't imply that my feedback doesn't matter. This sudden implementation of KYC out of nowhere with varying levels is concerning and what's more concerning is that some gamblers are actually encouraging this crap.

Your example regarding KYC in exchanges is wrong. Why? It is completely possible to deposit and withdraw amounts within a certain limit in popular exchanges and stay anonymous at the same time.

I do hope that other popular crypto gambling sites don't follow in Roobet's footsteps by implementing KYC out of nowhere.

I got an email from roobet but it's weird they use a different text
I also checked the email address so sure it was an official email , is this normal?

Roobet is on an Space theme as of the moment and that's why we received that kind of email. Actually, when I received the email I check the sender details right away and to see that its legit, it makes me laugh because this is how Roobet seriously take every theme they're into. Working with their art contest right now, and the space theme really looks challenging also can't afford to miss that opportunity to win some extra bonus that's why I'll play.

i also received this email and like the new promotion from Roobet, it's just that what makes me a little annoyed is the "promotional code" that is distributed by Roobet on their official twitter account, i always to be late "lol". (Good luck to everyone playing in this new space theme)

Its expected that there would be some drastic changes into these platforms
knowing that they are regulated by the government and specially this one involves multi-million in inbound and outbound transactions then this isnt something that government
cant just ignore and they are just following on whats been asked even though this would really be making some impact into their business.

Is there a reason you expect gambling platforms to undergo drastic changes in terms of KYC regulations? There is an AML policy in the EU only if funds are transferred in larger amounts (I do not have the exact data, but I think someone stated the amount of at least 2000 Euro).

While I don’t know the laws for other parts of the world, but Roobet states in their ToS that players are bound by the laws of their respective states.

If the casino has cleared stated in its TOC the policy of their working then you are not left with many choices and KYC is one of them on Roobet. If you want to cash out huge profits to your wallet then you surely need to approve your KYC documentation first of all.We as gambler like to be annoymous but it wholey depends upon the company operating roobet that whether they want to make changes in their conditions if there are applications of thousands of players across the platform. But if you have any difficulty in such case then there are some private casinos providing withdrawal facility without KYC and you are free to use them. They want to operate as per the rules and regulations of geographical jurisdiction in respective areas they are operating and that's why they impose certain restrictions on players like KYC,block of VPN usage and area restrictions. There is nothing much you can do except making suggestions to the team members on the forum.

Yes, the email appears to be genuine. I saw a similar tweet on their official Twitter page:
But why do they go to Twitch after clicking the submit and comply button?  1 week ago was their last live and there is no upcoming schedule yet ... They were just gimmicking to change the text because Mr. Roo is in outer space, he's an Astronaut now.

I think those who are not here on the forum did not hesitate to confirm their identity because we know that Roobet is known for their raffles and giveaways on Twitter as well as those who often participate in their promotions.

Each country does have set of regulations it might differ on some aspect or key areas but theyre bit common when it comes to regulating any business or industries specially if it do involves
big amount that do comes in and comes out.For some country then yes they might be only looking or just setting it on a certain amount but we know that not all would be having
the same rules. This is iwhy these drastic changes would always be next in line or shall we say that in high probability it will really be tagged alone with these platforms.
