AFAIK most online casino has KYC. But it's not for every user of the site. If I am not mistaken, those users who only at/exceeds a particular amount in their balance should undergo into KYC. Not every member. Money laundering on casinos won't be easy. It will be really suspecious if the user just deposit, use internal exchange, and then withdraw all the time.
Nope, the KYC restrictions when limits exceeds are happening only in exchanges but in crypto gambling people who won 1000sBTC and withdrew it no obligations in the past and still happening on lost of sites. So players might be asked to provide KYC when they notice abnormal activities on their betting, deposit behaviour, and etc.
Honestly I don't get understand what you are standing for. I thought you wanted to implement KYCs on online casinos, but here you are opposing the idea of yours. Casinos has their way figuring suspicious acts on their site, and I'm sure they also are against money laundering. Nonetheless, I don't prefer to undergo KYCs on any online platform such as exchanges and casinos.

Well, that concept has not been successful on competitors. I prefer to remember Roobet as a single casino rather than a mixed gambling platform. The Bitsler and Stake have not successfully achieved the goal as crypto gambling bookies, Roobet will have a higher failure rate too, IMHO. Better to focus on development as a casino.
It is because each gambler and each gambling community have different interest and favorite in their gambling habits. You can not force gamblers who like to bet with sportsbook to make dice bets or join slot machine bets. They are different types of gamblers. Not all gamblers have mixed gambling habits.

I searched the 9 pages of posts from @absolutely-positioned and I did not find a single word on sportsbook so far. It is unofficial confirmation that the team have not yet shown their interests or any plan in sportsbook development.

In addition, manage different sub gambling areas on the same gambling site contains risk. If the Roobet team want to develop sportsbook, I think it will be better and safer for them to create another new website for sportsbook, not here, on Roobet.com. Example RooSportsbook.com, funds for that site will be separated from Roobet.com. Risks in turn will be managed better. Success or failure of that site won't be correlated with Roobet.com

This method was used: BitVest and 777 coin, Primedice and Stake, Bitcasino.io and Sportsbet.io.

The crypto industry continues to grow and more people know about crypto business opportunities are also increasingly open, especially for crypto casinos
Roobet only needs to target new people in the crypto world so this way they have a chance to grow IMO  Grin BTW we continue to talk about the sportsbook here, is there any indication the roobet opened it?
I don't know. So far, there is no single shed light about it. But maybe from the noise and request by the community, @absolutely-positioned will say about it for the first time. Wait and we might have a clear answer about it.

Well, until now Roobet has successfully run crypto casino even though there were many competitors before so if they can at the casino why not for the sportsbook
Apart from promotion there must be other ways to attract players, somehow they have to think about it.

Yeah, you do actually have a point because roobet was just a new player in town when everything is really on a competition on getting marketshare but it do still able to get a big slice up in the end.

Thanks to their active marketing plus having those decent bonuses and perks which had been offered which did really spark out people/communities interest.

For Sportsbook then they will surely making plans first and observation if they would do the same step just like when they do launch up their casino.

I think you absolutely right because adding sport bets does not seems to be part of their plan but it will be nice if they integrate sport betting to their platform so we their user can have everything in a single pocket since the pleasure had when I make my first withdraw on their site was awesome inspite the Bitcoin network congestion.
They might have some consideration on such step knowing that other competitors are having these kind of integrations with sports which would be a good add up into the site.

Sorry to mention out Stake on here but its an example on having both Casino and Sports betting. Roobet could have the same way too basing off on userbase then there
would be surely a demand.
There is also fact that it is a huge deal to add sportsbook and it may take some time. Primedice lived like 4 years before they spread to other gambling games and started a casino called stake, and stake was live for 3 years before they added sportsbook as well, so primedice waited like 7 years from start to adding sportsbook part, that shows you even one of the biggest can have some getting ready part for it.

Roobet could obviously add before 7 years is up, because roobet is a much better in high end tech development casino, but I think it is not like "okay let's add sportsbook tomorrow" type of deal, it takes months maybe even a year of getting ready for that release and even after release there could be few small problems which will be fixed eventually and become perfect, let's just give them some more time, they will surely have one in the future.
You absolutely right cause it does take some years before most casinos integrate another form of gambling game but judging by the much better high front/back end tech development and the level of the maturity service they provided  shouldn't be difficult for them to integrate sport bet.

Maybe it's not difficult compare to other who starting up but the question is does it really worth to implement here? Although it's good to have a good addition but if the users is less well maybe that's a lot of to take care by them. Maybe those things has been consider by Roobet team but let see the result of there's more ongoing discussion related to this request since if many will talk about it we can see it added in future.

In my opinion, it is not a big problem for them because everything can be solved by recruiting experts
The main focus is competition, we know that there has been a crypto sportsbook since several years ago and it is even known to many people
If it is not able to compete, of course it can become a failed project and that means wasting a lot of money.

As a business they would really study all the possible angles and things that could happen if they decided to add up a sportsbook and yes the competition is really very high and people will really be eyeing out first
on known sportsbook rather than on switching to other place but somehow having one in roobet will really be better compared to those who do run off solo or without any reputation background.

If they would able to see that there are some demand came from into its users then they might really be considering on building one but if not then they would rather focus
more into their casino which had been doing pretty well nowadays or until to this time.

No God or Kings, only BITCOIN.
Roobet has been running long in the market now, IMO, I think if Roobet wants to add sports betting, they should have done it before. Maybe it's not on their plan to add any, just my opinion. But still, everything depends on them.
Likely that's gonna come and who knows they will like to be Stake when they started I think sports betting wasn't introduced yet. Furthermore, it will be nice addition considering there are enough audience of Roobet for quite some time now thanks to that extensive promotions. Fingers crossed I am hoping it will come true.

Legit crypto gambling sites usually enforce KYC only when they detect certain abnormalities related to the user. Scam sites tend to enforce them as an excuse in order to prevent their customers from withdrawing their funds successfully.

Also, crypto casinos just like FIAT casinos enforce wagering requirements in order to prevent money laundering based on what I observed.

In this case, when the site steals users, it will impose the usual requirements, the KYC is indeed increased so that the data is safer and more valid so that there is no big money laundering in their gambling, in this case we know that fair sites will continue to provide services that are more reliable and valid. best to them but if the abnormality occurs then I think that action needs to be continued so that no cheating occurs so that it will remain safe for us and the platform.

This is the quote from the Roobet Video campaign thread.

However if you want to withdraw then you can do so today or throughout weekend. The fees are as low as 1.5 USD per transaction.. Its pretty low mate.

I would like to know if the roobet withdrawal fees are lower in weekends as compare to other days ? If so, what's the logic behind this ?
There are a lot more people who gamble on weekends. The logic is that, all around the world people work during the weekdays the most, sure there are few jobs that require you to work on weekends as well but most of the time almost all workers work that 5 weekday and that is why weekends are a bit more important, it is really not something weird here, that is the most common period and if you look at the wagered amounts you will see that on weekends it is a lot more.

So, the logic is that if people are free mostly on their weekends, then when will they gamble the most? They will gamble the most in their free time which we established as weekend already, so if people gamble the most on weekends, that makes sense to have a weekend lower withdrawal fee so that you could attract more people on weekends to gamble here instead of somewhere else.

Most of the centralized exchanges have KYC but casinos still allows the players to use their platform with no KYC until there is some kind of suspicioun activities. Tax avoidance is relavant too, if someone wants to avoid capital gains then they can surely use casinos to avoid it if they understand what they are doing.

You have almost answered your own question. In order to have the function of a legal cryptocurrency exchange, they would have to have an appropriate license in addition to the license of the gambling business. These are additional legal risks, additional need to request documents from users and so on. No one wants to do it, and there are many legitimate reasons for it.
Yeah, so my conclusion is Roobet may not have such internal conversion feature in near future which many people refuse to accept that. But it's more harm and they lose players if they impose KYC restrictions for the people who want to bet on their site.
