EVGA has invited members of the tech press to a closed meeting to announce the discontinuation of their graphics card manufacturing. The company has confirmed it will not launch GeForce RTX 40 series as well as future series.
EVGA will not be making cards from competitors either, such as AMD or Intel. The company has completely ceased making video cards moving forward. This decision will stand as long as EVGA has the same CEO, reports the media.https://videocardz.com/newz/evga-ceases-video-card-production-no-more-evga-geforce-gpusphilipma1957, are you disappointed?
In Russia, EVGA products are rare and expensive, we won't even notice it.
It's a surprise for me, and I think for all of us. EVGA for me is (was) the best partner of Nvidia.
I had some EVGAs and all of them are great gpus, without any problems
It was the first in my country to offer 3 year warranty, even if we need to send to US after the first year, but at least we had 2 more years of warranty, and the warranty always worked.
It's a shame for Nvidia to lose this kind of partner, the situation in Nvidia is not good at the moment, this is not their first loss.
I wish EVGA goes to AMD in a near future, but as they said, they are leaving GPUs, maybe they will focus on another stuff they already produces, like PSU, Motherboards, mice and keyboards etc
