The recently launched RTX 4060 non-Ti GPU has already experienced a significant price drop within a week of its release. A Spanish retailer is currently offering the card at a price of €299.95, which is considerably lower than the official MSRP of €335 in the country.

The newly released RTX 4060 non-Ti graphics card has failed to make a strong impression among gamers, confirming earlier predictions. The situation is particularly evident in Europe, where gamers remain unconvinced by its offerings. In response to lukewarm demand, retailers across the continent have swiftly resorted to offering discounts on custom RTX 4060 cards.

In Russia, the RTX 4060 Ti still costs 420 euros and there is no demand, there are no prices for the RTX 4060 yet. Sales of this model have failed all over the world.

Asus Flaunts GeForce RTX 4060 Ti with M.2 Slots for SSDs
"Tony Yu, general manager of Asus China, has demonstrated a prototype of a GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card that not only processes graphics but can also carry two M.2-2280 SSDs. The product will be handy for inexpensive PCs with insufficient M.2 slots for SSDs. However, it is only a prototype for now.

In addition to Nvidia's AD102 GPU with 4352 CUDA cores and 8GB of GDDR6 memory, the prototype Asus GeForce RTX 4060 Ti graphics card has two M.2-2280 slots with a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface for SSDs, one on the front and one of the back side of the PCB. The card has a simplistic (and presumably inexpensive) PCIe switch, so the GPU (with a PCIe x8 interface) and drives (two drives with a PCIe x4 interface) get all the bandwidth they need to operate at their maximum throughput."

I think buying a 2-socket M.2-2280 SSD motherboard would be cheaper than buying a graphics card. On an M.2-2280 motherboard, SSDs will run cooler.

Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4060 goes on sale June 29 for $299

Gamers won't have to wait until July to get their hands on Nvidia's next Ada Lovelace graphics card. Team Green on Wednesday said the GeForce RTX 4060 (non-Ti model) will be available to order from June 29 at 6 am Pacific, and will start at $299.

Nvidia introduced the RTX 4060 family last month, which includes the RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB, the RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB and the base model RTX 4060. The latter will feature 3,072 CUDA cores, a base clock of 1.83 GHz (boost clock up to 2.46 GHz), and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory with a 128-bit wide bus. It carries a TGP rating of 115W.

Modern video cards often do not impress with some design frills, although if you wish, you can find adapters, including in different colors. Zephyrus went further and introduced the first 3D card with a pink PCB.
The RTX 3060 Ti really looks unusual because of this. At the same time, the casing of the CO for some reason is not at all pink, but white, although with a pattern. In addition, the casing includes a panel that covers the back of the card, which is why the pink printed circuit board is only visible at the PCIe slot and in the slots on that very back panel.

The price in Russia of the RTX 3080 video card is 46,099 rubles or $550. This is despite the fact that the recommended price is $700 and there are sanctions in the country. In stores, prices for new video cards are cheaper than in markets where they sell used video cards. But gamers prefer to pay $50-$100 extra and buy an RTX 4070.

MSI prototypes for the future of graphics card cooling look impressive and expeмnsive

"Assuming the next-generation of graphics cards will be more power-hungry than the last, we could end up in a pickle trying to keep them cool. I mean, look at the RTX 4090, it's already massive. Our PC cases can't take much more. But there's more to cooling than bigger and bigger heatsinks, and over at Computex 2023, MSI has shown off a couple of concepts it's looking into that can drop GPU temps by as much as ten degrees."

The YouTuber spoke to several sources at various retailers in both the U.S. and Europe, and the picture in every case appears to be pretty grim. It was Micro Center, for instance, that stated there was “zero” interest from consumers in the RTX 4060 Ti. This led to the retailer deciding against opening stores early, since — unlike with most Nvidia GPU launches — it didn’t expect fans to be queueing around the block to get their hands on the new card.

First, the GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB graphics card will appear, in July the same model with 16 GB of memory will appear. There is no other difference between the video cards.
The good news is, it's a $300 low-cost GeForce RTX 4060 8GB that will probably be on par with the GeForce RTX 3060 Ti in terms of performance.

Nvidia introduces $399 RTX 4060 Ti and $299 4060 without introducing a price hike.
8GB 4060 Ti launches May 24; $499 16GB version and 4060 follow in July.
Nvidia will fill out the 4060 lineup later in July; a $499 4060 Ti with 16GB of memory will sit in between the 8GB model and the $599 RTX 4070. A lower-end non-Ti RTX 4060 will also launch for $299, a small drop from the 3060's $329 introductory price for what Nvidia says should be 20 percent better performance; not a bad deal for the first generation-over-generation price drop we've seen from Nvidia in years. The 8GB 4060 Ti and 4060 are both pitched as 1080p cards, partly because 8GB of graphics memory is becoming a bottleneck in newer games at higher resolutions.

NVIDIA is getting ready to release its RTX 4060 series, which includes the RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB, RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB, and RTX 4060. The company intends to unveil all three SKUs this month, though only the RTX 4060 Ti 8 GB model will be available for purchase immediately.

The RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB and RTX 4060 versions are slated for a July release. The introduction of the 16 GB RTX 4060 Ti model comes as a surprise, considering the 128-bit memory bus constraint. Nonetheless, gamers can anticipate more frame buffer for storing high-resolution textures and expansive AI models.

NVIDIA wants to launch RTX 4060 Ti by the end of May

The launch process for RTX 4060 Ti has already begun, and things like press/influencer list submission have already taken place. NVIDIA is yet to commence shipping the cards to the channel on May 5th, which should explain why there were no new photos or the spec leaks in the recent time.

NVIDIA has not yet mentioned any price to board partners, so anything you hear elsewhere is pure speculation. However, the use of older PG190 board, limited memory spec to 128-bit bus and PCIe Gen4 to eight lanes could indicate that we are finally looking at a budget RTX 40 Ada graphics card. Hopefully, NVIDIA sees those SKUs the same way that we do.

NVIDIA found an overabundance of chips for the RTX 40XX in warehouses. We are waiting for cheaper video cards
Recently, rumors appeared on the net that NVIDIA has cut production of RTX 4070 graphics cards due to unsatisfactory sales. In this regard, by the way, the company allowed its partners to reduce prices for the new product. Apparently, the reason for this decision is an excess of chips in NVIDIA's warehouses. According to our colleagues from two publications at once - Wccftech and MyDrivers - the IT giant has the largest stock of chips among all major customers of the Taiwanese manufacturer TSMC. The company's current inventory is said to last 220 days, well above the industry average of 92 days.
