NVIDIA is reportedly set to unveil its new RTX 40 SUPER series in January 2024, with the 4070 SUPER taking the lead as the first card to hit the market. Sources suggest that NVIDIA will showcase the new series at CES 2024 during its Special Address livestream. While board partners are expected to reveal their designs shortly thereafter, the 4070 SUPER, in particular, is projected to be available starting January 17.

Hello everyone, maybe this question is off-topic, but please tell me why social media constantly compares the 1080 Ti card with other video cards and says that 1080Ti is one of the best cards in terms of price-performance ratio.  I want to build a PC and I wonder if it is really that good. It is old, isn't it?
A lot of 1000 series video cards have been used in mining, and it is difficult to find a 1080 Ti video card in good condition. I would buy a used rtx 3060 video card for gaming and mining.

It will be interesting to see what demand is out there for these cards. I don’t think many people are mining alts yet but they are profitable so I would imagine it will be difficult getting your hands on one of these cards. Might have to watch Best Buy inventory and hope to get lucky. I know I’d like to grab one of these for testing in January.

Nvidia produces a mysterious new powerful professional graphics card for the Chinese market only
The latest list of drivers for Nvidia's professional graphics cards included the addition of support for an RTX 5880 Ada Generation unit. The only problem is that this exact item doesn't actually exist yet – meaning it could well be a product the firm has created specifically to sell in China.

The product's model number is incredibly close to the flagship board, designed for professional visualization, according to Tom's Hardware, and could be designed to skirt around trade restrictions the US government imposed in November.

The US blocked Nvidia from selling the latest graphics cards based on the 5nm AD102 GPU, meaning sales of the high-end Nvidia RTX 6000 Ada workstation GPU – an extremely powerful GPU – and the GeForce RTX 4090 were banned entirely.

NVIDIA to split RTX 40 launch into three dates, RTX 4070 SUPER coming first, RTX 4080 is last
ITHome have combined rumors from multiple sources which paint the picture when one should expect NVIDIA to unveil and launch the new RTX 40 SUPER series.

Rumors suggest that NVIDIA is set to unveil and reveal initial details about the upcoming GeForce RTX 40 SUPER graphics cards in a ‘Special Address’ during CES 2024 on January 8th. This speculation has circulated ever since the company confirmed its intentions to host this event. The latest information indicates that the company may introduce first SUPER cards just nine days after the announcement, with at least one SKU scheduled for release.

Nvidia reportedly creating new RTX 4090 D 'Dragon' GPU to comply with US export regulations for China
According to WCCFTech, the RTX 4090 D will be available from add-in board partners in China, similar to the RTX 4090, with no indication of a Founders Edition model. Pricing is also reported to be "similar" to the RTX 4090's old price in China — i.e. before the restrictions caused prices to shoot up — though it may be a tad less expensive to reflect its lower performance.

According to reports from China, the company will only be able to export the RTX 4090 GPU to China and other countries within the same group for a month after the restrictions were initially announced. This means that, unlike the data-center products such as A100, H100, A800, and H800, the RTX 4090 can still be shipped to China, but only for the next two weeks.

According to the latest information, multiple AIC brands have confirmed that the RTX 4090 series will be completely banned from sales in the country after November 17th. It is advisable for everyone to purchase and cherish them while they are still available. […] It is reported that, in order to sell more units before the ban, various graphics card brands are increasing their shipments of the RTX 4090 series.

NVIDIA RTX 4070 Ti SUPER packaging design has been leaked
The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER is reportedly an update to the existing Ti model, boasting 8448 CUDA cores and utilizing either the AD102-175 or AD103-275 GPU. It’s expected to maintain a power requirement similar to the original ‘Ti’ model, which stands at 285 watts. Additionally, it is rumored to feature increased memory capacity, with suggestions from other sources indicating a launch with 16GB of GDDR6X memory.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Ti quad-slot prototype GPU hits eBay, well, kinda... its I/O bracket

NVIDIA's teased GeForce RTX 4090 Ti prototype graphics card has its I/O bracket hit eBay, where you can have a piece of the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti for $25.
NVIDIA has its flagship GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card on the market with 24GB of GDDR6X memory, but there was a prototype GeForce RTX 4090 Ti made with a gigantic quad-slot design... and that I/O shield has just hit eBay.
Why is the RTX 4090 Ti prototype a quad-slot? That's because NVIDIA was playing around with something truly different with the prototype of the GeForce RTX 4090 Ti, which had a PCB design that was turned 90 degrees. It meant that the board was parallel to the motherboard, which would've been really interesting to see happen, but it would provide far more efficient cooling. We were to expect power numbers of somewhere between 600W and 800W of power, according to multiple leakers.

NVIDIA RTX 4090 exports to China to be banned after all
Several reports confirm that the U.S. export restriction on the leading RTX 4090 graphics processing unit is set to be implemented on the scheduled date of November 17th.
In a new SEC filing, NVIDIA confirmed that new export licensing restrictions have been implemented for their high-end data-center products, which prohibit the shipment of these products to certain countries, including China. Notably, while the initial October 17 SEC filing mentioned the RTX 4090 GPU, a subsequent filing on the matter omitted any reference to this card. This has generated a fair amount of speculation and reports (our included) suggesting that the RTX 4090 may potentially be excluded from the restricted list. That is not the case.

NVIDIA RTX 4080 Ti incoming
Leaker claims NVIDIA is working on a faster RTX 4080.
MEGAsizeGPU, a highly reliable hardware leaker, has hinted at the possibility of NVIDIA introducing a fresh addition to its graphics card lineup, named either the RTX 4080 Ti or RTX 4080 SUPER. According to the tweet, the final designation remains undecided. Given NVIDIA’s apparent departure from the SUPER series in the RTX 30 series and the absence of a Ti variant for the RTX 4080, it appears more likely to be named RTX 4080 Ti.

The ASUS GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 16 GB & 8 GB Dual graphics cards have been available on the market for a while now but the company has launched two brand new revisions which have a unique feature.

M.2 uses 4 lanes and their prototype had 2 m.2 slots. It might be useful to free up some lanes on a rig for more GPUs.
