I modded my XFX560 4gb bios  getting 13.5MHS with core down clocked to 1050 and Memory at 2000. I'm going to let it run a bit for stability test. Maybe someone can tweak it more to push 14MHS stable  fastest I gotten was 13.7MHS

Edit: my mistake assuming everyone uses ETH for speed testing, but
at least I learned something new...EXP actually seems good option
for people with slow rigs mining to exchange wallets with big cap
on ethereum (0.5 on Poloniex, for example)
Excuse me, care to elaborate on this point?
What's about EXP that would be interesting to those with slow rigs?

On Poloniex, you can only transfer to wallet once you mined 0.5 ETH (used to be 1 ETH)
so transfer would occur about once per month (15 days now) for rig with 6 X RX 560
where all the cards chug at 14 MH/s.

With EXP, its all transferred to the wallet the moment its mined

A lot of people hating on the 560, I get it.

But, after a good tuned VBIOS flash, this card is producing a slightly better hashrate/watt metric than the 470/570. Some say this card is exactly half of a 570.

Seems like once you consider the $/PCIe-slot cost of the rig (minus the GPUs)...

570s needing 1200watt+ PSU
vs.
560s needing 750watt+ PSU

a 560 build could come very close to matching the break-even, some even say it beats, the Break-Even Days metric of a 570 rig.

Please provide full brand of the card, as there many 560 with Hynix which matters.

Edit: i guess it's powercolor, based on the uploaded bios?

Hi guys.

Did anyone succeed in RX 560 with VRam Hynix?

I've just bought some Powercolor RX 560 cards with VRam Hynix, 12MHs on stock bios. I tried edit bios by myself but no success at all, so I'm asking for help.

Here is my stock bios, every help is appreciated.

When the time goes by, it becomes more concurrent, and the screen begins to present small errors every time, even sometimes black screen for a second and returns to its normal state.

I come back to the Original BIOS.

Hi all!

I a newbie on this mining topics.
I bought 6pcs of Sapphire RX 560 4GB. With my friends we built up the rig.
We used Asus H270F motherboard we used 2pc of psu.

The windows find the 6 cards but after I start claymore one GPU hashing only 2.095 mh/s the others reach 12 or above. We tested the risers the cards the cables, we switching the parts everything! But the problem is always the same.

Have you got any idea what's wrong?

Can you tell me how can dual mining? If I use this in dual, the ETH hashrate will go down? How %?

Thank you!

unplug the monitor  and use  vnc or something to acces the computer

not always but lot of time the gpu with monitor plugin has slower than the others, it s also depend on resolution screen

edit : someone already reply Smiley

Search for 4MH/s problem (560 is half mining speed of mainstream 4x0/5x0 cards therefore Your's 2MH/s). Connecting HDMI screen to low hash card should solve the problem. Connecting through TeamViewer and disable/enable graphics cards in Device Manager also is doing the job.

Hi and welcome,

I see you're using claymore, so just open the RadeMe file to understand how to mine on dual. As for the low MH/s on one card, if it's still the same after reboot, try putting the DVI/HDMI cable to that card and removed. Should fix it.

Cheers

You're right, but I've noticed something strange with my other rig running on Sapphire rx560. When I'm replacing the bios with the ones downloaded from here, it gives different information about the bios (I'm using atiflash with CMD, where full BIOS info is visible). When I replace the original BIOS with such made by me (basically extracted the default bios ,made some mods and flash it back), the information about new and old bios is the very same, so you're right, there's difference among the same vendors, but for me, it worked. My modded bios is crappy, nothing happens when tweeking with AfterBurn and with the ones from here I got good hashing rate. Have to note that the uploaded bioses by privet are with already clocked memory and core.

Back to the MSI topic.

Here's the original ROM: http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=91214473661273445192

Here's my modded ROM, which is doing about 12 (dual mining):  http://s000.tinyupload.com/?file_id=00070263020219795327

If there's some who could mod the original, I would be very happy or share its modded bios for MSI. I see @cchouse did a good job, but he's no longer active Smiley

Even among same manufacturer and model, ROMs could not be compatible..in my case,

I have four Gigabyte RX560s, but two are Hynix and two are Micron memory, totally

different timings and bios is not interchangeable...so if you dont know what to do,

extract your BIOS and post it here so someone can eventually check for you

So if there's anyone with MSI RX 560 AERO ITX OC, who managed to get past 13+ mh/s with custom bios ? If so, is it possible to share ROM or settings on how you did it Smiley

Cheers

hi guys, i have two RX 560 one Sapphire  pulse Overclock  and MSI aero ITX, i read all post here but never has read wich GPU model you can make bios mod. Can you help me ?

All of them

Ok, but i tried use priviet's rom, but not work for me, what i could change? i will try my own rom

privet ROM is for Sapphire only, but indeed, after applying it, i got 14,5 per card, but this lasted only several minutes. Obviously either i'm doing something wrong or my PSU cannot handle the load. Anyway after privet's post there's another ROM shared, which is stable at 13,5, so you can try with it.

What are you hashes guys? Anyone managed speeds over 14mh ?

Several did, according to their posts Smiley Some of us are near 14mh. For me 14.5 - 15 MH/s are not doing well on more than 2 cards rig. If the modded bios is on all 6 cards the miner crashes after few mins, but yeah the total hashing power per card is over 14.5, but not stable.

Wow ! 14 MH/s is an awesome performance ! And in case it is not stable at around 14 MH/s, downgrading to 13 MH/s would still be something great. You are now making me considering buying one Grin !

13,5 is easily achieved with some of the bios mods posted here, for which I thanks the guys who shared their work.
