With overpriced 570s and 580s i think that 560 is better choice
I'm seeing the RX560 at much less than half the price of the GTX 1070 for example (I can't find RX 570, so can't even compare to that)

What are you hashes guys? Anyone managed speeds over 14mh ?

Several did, according to their posts Smiley Some of us are near 14mh. For me 14.5 - 15 MH/s are not doing well on more than 2 cards rig. If the modded bios is on all 6 cards the miner crashes after few mins, but yeah the total hashing power per card is over 14.5, but not stable.

Wow ! 14 MH/s is an awesome performance ! And in case it is not stable at around 14 MH/s, downgrading to 13 MH/s would still be something great. You are now making me considering buying one Grin !

thanks to @priviet for sharing his bios mod

WORK on Shappire RX 560 4gb itx non OC without 6 pin connector, i get 14.2xx mh/s per card with 60w power draw and about 65° with 70% fan speed.

Hi Brad,

Can you please share how many RX560 Sapphire you have and what AMD driver you use ? As I tried @privet mod and it's all fine, getting nice MH/s, but after 2-3 mins the miner crash with error GPU# hangs in  OpenCL call exit.

I'm suspecting some motherboard issue, as the 2 PCIx16 slots are behaving very strange. When all 6 cards are connected the PC is really unresponsive, when I remove 2 of the cards which are connected to the PCIx16 the things are much better, anyway I have to test what's wrong there, but curious about how many cards you have running with the bios and for how long + what driver you use ?

Thanks in advance.

I have 6 cards running on a Asus z270-P with driver version 17.5.2 from about 4 days, stable

Hey ! May I ask you where you managed to find cards at this price ?

Thanks !

www.eprice.it  i bought at 130€ per card

Hey brad,

Can you share what PSU you use and how many WATTS it is ?

Cheers

I modded the bios successfully and increased the mining speed to ~14.xxx mh/s with the following settings:

bios mod:

1750 timings -> 1875, 2000
max memory clock 2000 -> 2200

amd radeon settings:

gpu clock -> 1125 (underclock)
memory clock -> 2000
fan -> 100%

ASIC is 65% and 75% so they run 60° and 53°. Memory is Micron 4GB.
Could push the memory clock further now but I'm satisfied and let them work for 48h.

I think they could do 15.xxx mh/s but with much more power draw and heat dissipation.

And disable crossfire in amd tool, enabled by default!

Hi, thank you for your hints.
I have some problems trying to flash my bios:
- I back up my original BIOS using AtiWinFlash v.2.74
- I modify the bios putting the new values using PolariBiosEditor Master 1.4
- I save the new BIOS into a new file
- I put the new BIOS on the RX 560 using AtiWinFlash v.2.74 again

But....
whatever I try to change in the BIOS, after the reboot, the ATI driver stops to recognise the ATI card...
WHERE AM I WRONG ?

maybe is it a checksum problem (this may be the reason why the driver doesn't see the card anymore)

Thank you in advance

Smiley

I think its answered few hundred times on this board alone...you have to patch your video drivers
to recognize your card with modified BIOS

Edit: you can download patcher here:

I made test on ETH especially for you))  on Epoch #132

That's on 460 or 560? Because i've 10 rx 460 and +3MH/s per card would be awesome Smiley
Can you pm the stats you used plus bios?

bouth 30 pc. of Sapphire RX560 4GB. you know what that was the best buy. For that moment price was 104 Euros for card.BTC

Rigs are working very stable 4-5 weeks. Each cards give 15.1 mh (Eth/Etc/Exp/Msc) + 110 mh/s DCR

I would also really appriciate a copy of that bios/settings, i have 16 pcs of this card incoming (price 110 euro)

I getting 13.1 mh can you share with me bios mod ?

35ºC you must live in north pole...
i think rx460 could do similar results. I'm getting 11.8 mh/s out of the box. no oc, no bios.
Somehow You are right Smiley I put my rigs in refrigerator ))
I did unlock, overclock and bios on rx460. I could get only 14.5 mh/s for Solo mining. On dual they are very unstable.
But, RX560 are better in performance and stable.

could you share your BIOS? Owning RX460 and also 560, before two weeks I had 13mh/s on stock with the RX560 now I have only 11,9mH/s a Kind of strange. Maybe it's caused by the Driver. Which one are you using?
Could you please also provide you OC Settings for both Cards?

Interesting...care to share your full command line?
 I tried exp too, and can'd do better than around 12.5
on exp or eth (have similar numbers for both), however I can
 reach dcr 360 with almost no drop on eth/exp performance
with -dcri 60 in command line

Edit: my mistake assuming everyone uses ETH for speed testing, but
at least I learned something new...EXP actually seems good option
for people with slow rigs mining to exchange wallets with big cap
on ethereum (0.5 on Poloniex, for example)
