The memory speed must be 1750 MHz or higher. 1500 MHz is crab.
I have a couple of ASUS cards that were originally 896&1500. After unlocking to 1024 and changing the straps they give ~14Mh/s ETH.
However for sure I agree that if you have several options it's better to take 1750 ones.

its enough 2gb ram or should be 4gb ?
For ETH you need at least 3Gb

many thanks for your answers guys !

So ok. It's better to get 1750 ones, ram must be at least 3gb. What else guys? Wink Is it hard to tweak the cards and increase mhs to 14?
also, are you buying these cards locally or trying to buy from some sites ?if from sites, maybe you could recommend any ?

I am total newbie in mining world.
So guys, as I understood rx 560 are not bad cards for mining eth, but I saw that there are several types of rx 560 cards which makes big differences.
So which card with what specification is best to increase mh/s to 14 or even 15 ?
Choose cards with 1024 shaders and try to avoid cards with 896 shaders.
For instance, Sapphire cards:
1024: 11267-00 and 11267-01
896: 11267-18 and 11267-20

However, some of the 896 can be unlocked to 1024.  Wink

thanks.
what else? Is it enough to get rx 560 with 1024 shaders to get 14mh/s ?

alright, thanks for info ! Wink

I  believe RX560 is quite and good card for mining right now.

15 MH/s for 130 euros, Rx 580 armor 420 euros in Portugal it´s very big price for this card.

How exactly do you get 15 MH/s?
It's interesting to me as well. Yesterday I've bought several RX560 with Hylix memory. Using timings from bits.media forum I've managed to get ~14.2Mh/s ETH. The cards can work with the same timings up to 14.5-14.6 but with no stability though.

Is this just for ETH or other algos as well? I am trying to understand whether the custom timings work overall and increase the performance or they are good just for certain algos?
I searched a bit through the bits.media forum but couldn't find specific thread for RX560, only found 570/580. Can you please advise?

RX are good for Cryptonight (XMR/ETN...).

The Micron strap RX560 ... 15,2 eth ... 480 xmr :
777000000000000022AA1C0073626C41B0551016BA0D260B0060060004061420EA8940AA0300000 01914292EB22E3B16
or use OneClickPBE.
Seems, Clem is using a paid strap from Mattthev.
@Clem, is your strap is different than the above one?

Yes for the Hynix one i confirm is the timing from Mattthev (can't achieve stable rig without his timing) (so i will not share it)

For Micron  that the one. You can push MEM on micron from 2200 to 2300 (pretty stable) but if you want to reduce PWR better to use

(HiveOS OC configuration) COR: 1125 DPM:3 V:850 MEM: 2200 and gonna give you 480H/s for ~35W.

Add option -h 896 if you use claymore for XMR.

Hi Clems,

I have 6 RX560 4Gb Sapphire cards,

I copy your strap from 1625 to 2000 in my bios and flash 2 of my GPU and run ati patcher. I started claymore with cocre clock 1125 and memory 2100. GPUs start mining about 15 - 15.1 MHs but they worked only for 2-3 minut and crash.

Any advice what else I should change in my settings?

Thank you

Try MEM 2080 and if not working reduce MEM... Seems your card is not supporting high memory.

I am now getting
300H/s on RX 570  2174 on memory +36 Power Limit
136.5H/s on RX 560 1800+ Memory +20+ Power Limit
Is this good?
55-57 degrees temps

It's running ZecMiner64 from NiceHash.

My RX 560 took forever to actually get over 8.8Mh/s It finally went to 11 on its own. (It then switched to ZecMiner, so I sort of know how to clock it for that)

I use:
AMD A10 6300 @ stock clock, 3 out of 4 cores mining XMR @ 45-47H/s with Claymore_Old on MinerGate pool.

You'd have better cpu hashrate on XMR with 2 core setting affinity to cores 1 & 3

1xstealthx1, which drivers do you use?
Have you turned on the "calculation mode"?
Do you use AB? If so, what version?
Did you try to overclock in the WT?

I am not interested in Modding Bios/ just want to tweak it.
I'm afraid, there is no way to get good hash rate on AMD cards without changing bios.

I can't even get over 8.8... I'd say your doing well.
What setting do you have without bios modded?

Hi, i have ROG-STRIX-RX560-O4G-GAMING , and im new at mining, i only manage to get 13.1 on ETH.
Can someone explain to me how to get more if possible for these card. I flashed card bios, on stock it gives me only 10.5.

My RX560 random a few hours later started showing 10.5/11Mh/s
but clocks still don't really change anything.

I just started yesterday and I am confused regarding AMD cards.
I mainly know how to mine with Nvidia on ETH Claymore 10 (but everything else I am dumb with) (I got GTX 1080tis to almost push 39.5Mh/s+ (stable for over 4 weeks) and GTX 1060's 24Mh/s+

My RX560 4gb Asus Strix are getting exactly what Nmc09331 is getting 8.8 Mh/s  but with stock or OC. No matter what I put it doesn't change anything ever.
I think it was mining ZecMiner64 but Nicehash switched it.  I just thought I am supposed to get 10-11Mh/s No matter what I do its stuck at 8.8 Mh/s  (is my card bad? it was open box)

My RX570 4gb MSI Armor is currently mining ZecMiner64 (Nicehash chose it)
Stock or any power limit 0 and below I get 249-255H/s
with My Oc I get better results but I don't know why this miner likes Power Limit raised (Please tell me howmuch is too much...)
RX570 getting 285-288H/s (Is this good? I see people talk about 300+ but i don't see any of the settings for it)
Msi After burner
-+25 Power Limit (I want to go more but I want ask if it makes sense or not, like will the extra performance screw up my card or my electric bill?)
-Core Clock 1100-1200 I think doesn't do anything on ZecMiner
- Memory Stable at 2100-2190  (2210+ i already know isn't good)
- 55-57 degrees low temps.

I am not interested in Modding Bios/ just want to tweak it.
What is the best RX570/560 get and what changes should i make? (besides bios mod)

Hi All
I started mining 2 days ago and this is my very first post.

I use:
AMD A10 6300 @ stock clock, 3 out of 4 cores mining XMR @ 45-47H/s with Claymore_Old on MinerGate pool.
Radeon RX560 4GB OC @ 1970 mem clock mining 8.8 MH/s with Skunk (prospector) on NiceHash pool
Radeon RX560 4GB OC @ 1970 mem clock mining 8.8 MH/s with Skunk (prospector) on NiceHash pool
Boards are on the Mobo (ASRock FM2a75 Pro 4 (4x PCIe)
Mining alternative: 290H/s on XMR on each card on NiceHash
8 GB RAM
120 GB OZ SSD
400w PSU
This is just an old gaming rig with 2x 560 I bought for mining purposes, to learn what all this is about.
I have limited cryptos knowledge.

The temperatures are nicely low.
CPU runs at 50-51 celcius (only 3 of the 4 cores mining, it reboots otherwise).
GPUs at 55-57 celcius for the card next to the CPU and 52-54 for the other one.
I have them on a regular ATX case with open side.

I read nicehash had some issues a few weeks ago, and I don't know what other pools/miners/systems/wallets/etc to use.
After a few days of reading I made 2 wallets on 2 different places, and I am mining into them half-half.
I have not been able to mine Etherium since NiceHash says equiash and daggerHashimoto has lower returns on my system at least right now.

So my questions are:
1) Nicehash says I will mine about 16-18 USD per WEEK depending on the algorithm. Is that acceptable these days for my setup?
2) I have another 2 PCIe on my Mobo. Should I buy a better PSU (600w?), add 2 more rx560, and rise everything?
3) I use stock roms on both RX560. Is it worthy to use a modded rom? Will the extra returns compensate the trouble/time/risk/heat/power?
4) Should I abandon NiceHash and mine with another tool/pool/etc? What do you guys mine on a 4G 560 currently?
5) PLEASE PM me any first week advice you may have.

If you need more information or screenshots I will be happy to provide.

Thank you all :-)
