Your IP for your PC is 192.168.0.100,that is the IPV4.

Your default gateway is 192.168.0.1 (modem or router).

You need to change the miner to your subnet, 192.168.0.110 should work. The 0 is YOUR subnet, the miner is on a 1 subnet, you won't see it until you switch it to 0.Even the router/modem may not see it,but you get to it by your browser.

You will need to change your PC IP to 192.168.1.100 ,S3's default IP is 192.168.1.99.So unplug your PC ethernet from the router/modem & plug it into the miner.

Now just follow those instructions to change your PC to 192.168.1.101.

Now you can type 192.168.1.99 in a browser & change the miner to YOUR subnet,192.168.0.110(under network tab WAN section, use the edit button & save). When your done, plug the miner into your router(shut the miner off for 30 seconds & power it back up to make the changes stick).

& reset your PC to back to your subnet (192.168.0.100) & plug the ethernet back in the router. Then you should be able to type 192.168.0.110 & it should be there.

If you get a new router I'm not sure if it will be 192.168.1 or 0.Since your modem is a 0 subnet I'd assume it would still be a 0 subnet,I'm not an expert network guru.

Its is confusing, glad I never had to do it,Good Luck!!  Wink

Thats assuming seller did not change it.  A lot of times it was ran with a different IP and you need to look at device list.

I know when I sold my S3's I wrote instructions for my buyers with the IP address.  Made support on ebay auctions so much easier.

http://192.168.1.99/ should always be free to enter new bitmain miners to the network!!!

did you buy the new switch?

if yes, open an web browser and go to http://192.168.1.99/ after you do what i told you above

there you should find the webgui of the miner!

change the 192.168.1.99 to something else because all bitmain have this address when shipping to clients!

reset the miner! there is a hole and a button at the end of the hole. miner on and u keep that button pressed till the miner starts to blink red!

power off, wait a bit, power on

now is on default settings and u can access it via 192.168.1.99

here which is s3 ?

https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.picz.ge%2Fimg%2Fs4%2F1504%2F14%2F8%2F869f1b31a788.png&t=551&c=pc-yK71gjiF1zg

I'm got confused.
else question .
i will need ip change s3's except on other? i only s3's ip should will change if else other ip should will change ?

from where should i learn s3's what IP have ?

don't is http://192.168.1.99 because it s3 is used so was change IP.

and router is http://192.168.0.1 ip and is tenda.

Ask the guy you bought it from what the IP is  Wink

from where i will guess s3 what IP have ?

i know s3 IP is not http://192.168.1.99 because is used.

What is on that piece of masking tape on the miner,it looks like an IP to me  Cool

If not then look under "Setup IP address on your computer",it will work on S3.

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/setup-troubleshoot-bitmain-antminer-s1-180ghs-miner-344970

You will need to plug the ethernet into your PC instead of the router until you change the subnet to 192.168.2.xx from 192.168.1.xx

yeaah.

it tape was and write "s3 202" only it .

what is this ? Ip last number ?

Could be,but my used S3's where 192.168.1.99,most folks reset the miner to default IP.

Type in cmd prompt ipconfig & post it here,so we see what subnet you are on.....

red led means that is not hashing

try with the cable from your pc or laptop!

the red led should power off and green should light-up

don't working ?

what do i?

i don't have router yet.

With no ethernet cable,it will NOT hash (connect to a pool to mine BTC).Looks good so far though,no sparks,no magic smoke.

Hook up the ethernet cable to the port by the red LED & to your router & open IE or Firefox or Chrome browser on your computer, type in the IP on the top of S3 into the address bar.

Type in root for user & root for password.

Go to 4) Configuration, to learn the rest  Wink
