Is it possible that this has to do with Customs Inspection, or internal problems faced by Ledger or Trezor?
If Trezor has not shipped the device by mid-December, there may be constraints on its production or licensing.
Trezor mentioned they're "facing some issues in the production" yesterday and since we don't know which production parts are the real culprits here, it could either be internal or external problems.

Because as far as I know, Safepal also did this in the early days of launching,
they complained about raw materials that were not yet available to make the safepal S1 V1 wallet Hardware Device.
You can tolerate such delays when you know they've just started their journey [you're dealing with a brand that doesn't have enough experience in this field] but with popular brands, it's a different story.

BTW, Safepal turned six yesterday and to celebrate it, they're giving away 6 more X1 models [source].

You have a point and this also applies to most of the other brands but lately, I've noticed most of the known brands tend to do nothing to stop new customers from purchasing the products that have production issues [e.g. Ledger has done it on multiple occasions in the past and now, Trezor is doing it with Safe 3 (they haven't shipped mid-December orders" yet, whereas Safepal seems to be delivering the limited edition devices ahead of schedule)].

But it depends on where they live, if it is close enough to the safepal head office I think 3 days is already the usual delivery,
normally deliveries that can be done around 2–3 weeks

-snip-
Despite not being a big fan of Safepal products, I have to admit they seem to have the fastest delivery times among known brands... This user received his/her "USDC limited edition" after three days only!

Because I bought safepal when I first launched with Free shipping and arrived in almost 2 months.

Currently, Safepal Free is still available.
But you have to do some tasks that must be completed.

Safepal can be purchased for only 10 USDC
Actually it's for FREE, and you only have to pay for shipping fees Wink
They are refunding 10 USDC after you received Safepal device if you did everything correctly swapping 35 USDC and doing all social media tasks.

This is not a bad deal if you don't have any hardware wallet, and Safepal X1 should be partially source available.
Just make sure your country is available for shipping, I think Ukraine is not available:

Safepal can be purchased for only 10 USDC
The limited collection of customized bluetooth open source X1 hardware wallets have the same features as the standard model (including the support for various networks and tokens), but come with unique perks to improve the USDC user experience. Additionally, SafePal will host a series of events and educational initiatives this year that focus on the utility of USDC in various applications.

For this campaign, users will be able to redeem these limited edition USDC hardware wallets valued at $69.99 USD by taking part in this first phase of this campaign from 24th January to 30th June 2024, and will only need to provide a redemption fee of 10 USDC (with a full rebate for it as one of the perks) to cover shipping costs.

However, I was unable to obtain information on the open-source code of the x1 wallet, have any of you managed to find information about it?
This is the dedicated "repository" for the x1 model, but it isn't fully open-source yet [they're planning to release different parts of it in stages (not sure when)].

I went to see the new Safepal X1 wallet on their official website and saw that on the site it is described as an open-source bluethoot wallet. The cost is not excessive and is around $69.99
I really like the design but it seems copied from ColdCard.

Regarding the latter part, I think it's a direct result of their close ties with Binance, as opposed to their latest hardware wallet.
That is also one of the factors, many new chains are supported by Binance and implemented also in Safepal Wallet such as Layer 2 Chain support ZKsync , Arbitrum, Optimism, and base.
For Core Network is not too hype, but BRC20 is very hype and has many users, which eventually makes the current Bitcoin network even more congested.

I was more interested in knowing if in the earn section, when you activate the stake, the coins remain in the wallet or are transferred to another platform,
I'm not sure if you already know the answer or not, but from a bunch of videos I've seen on YouTube, it appears to require a transaction for staking/unstaking so it definitely goes to another platform [unfortunately].

After Safepal released the latest X1 series of hardware, Safepal seems to be more serious in developing firmware by adding several new chains that are now quite popular such as Core Network and some BRC20 network tokens that are currently popular.

I completely forgot about this thread of mine, thanks for letting me know. Yes, I had already understood for some time that unfortunately to obtain a reward from staking you had to make a transaction! too bad, because it would have been much more interesting, but maybe one day they could implement this functionality

UPDATE SAFEPAL

After Safepal released the latest X1 series of hardware, Safepal seems to be more serious in developing firmware by adding several new chains that are now quite popular such as Core Network and some BRC20 network tokens that are currently popular.

Now X1 is a new hardware wallet that has a different design from Safepal S1 and S1 Pro.
And from the specifications are also different because the Safepal X1 now has a Bluetooth connection and no longer Air-gap (even though Air-Gap is safer).

All three Safepal hardware wallet devices both have the same firmware update.

yet another update on the blockchain, I believe that the problems on the energy expenditure of the hardware wallet are of little importance for the safepal team! who knows if someone from the team is here on the forum reading us! as for the staking they added did you get to try it?
Whether it's important or not, it's something to look out for.
Maybe Safepal will release their new wallet later, but I don't know when.
Certainly with more significant updates and the quality should be better.

They are too focused on blockchain updates alone at the moment.

For the ETH and BNB staking feature I haven't tried it yet.
But looking at the Earn >> Stake Tab it is available for Staking ETH APR 5%, BNB APR 4.08% and FLR.

ok thanks anyway, I was more interested in knowing if in the earn section, when you activate the stake, the coins remain in the wallet or are transferred to another platform, but since you haven't tried it we can only deduce

Firmware Upgrade

After several months without any updates, this time Safepal S1 got an update to Support ETH and BNB staking as well as Support Klaytn and Osmosis Networks.

As in previous upgrades, it seems that developers are still focused on adding the Blockchain Network and there are no improvements to some of the power usage bugs that are too wasteful and the appearance that may need an update.

ah I understand, since I had read about pancache and that if you put pancache in take you could make a good passive income, then I'm interested in the topic defi

just for that, but it seems a little complex for me

Yes! you can use the defi platforms without problems but you have to be a little careful on which platform you go to put your funds on, you could find yourself in a very nasty surprise. I personally used both pancakeswap and apeswap to rent out my tokens in the past, but now it's not convenient if you don't have a good amount of tokens to rent
