Maybe localbitcoins or coinbase but some people lately are saying they are having problems with coinbase and their customer service. Possibly try circle to see if they can transfer to USD.
Localbitcoins is having default escrow while the selling the bitcoins. When you selling your bitcoins to your near by people or some one that time please escrow for both parties safety.
I have done selling through localbitcoins only It'd completely safe for me.

First bitfinex, and now coinbase? These are tough days.

Just wondering, would would be the safest way to sell your bitcoins? Is there any platform considered universally "safe" to convert BTC in USD through Paypal, or direct deposit or something? Thank you!

Recently I have found that uquid bitcoin debit card (plastic or virtual) is a good way to sell the bitcoins.

Since you want to link it with paypal I think it should work and make payments through paypal too.

Other way how to sell your bitcoin is selling them locally, buying physical stuff with bitcoin etc.

The best way to securely sell is to diversify your sale volume in multiple lower amounts. You can’t be always sure about the trust or reputation of other party and especially in the case of bitcoins where it’s all about anonymity, you won’t be able to trace the person you are dealing with.

So no matter how much one is trusted, you should always deal with care. That also applies even if you are dealing with satoshi (you never met him so you can’t trust anyone named satoshi).

Untill now I was using Yobit to convert my Bitcoins to USD but due to the issue in their USD withdrawal again I left that and now I am searching for another platform, I got the idea of Cex.io , I think i will use next that.

You can also try XAPO card, but they have some charges for each withdrawal and some additional charges if you withdraw in a different currency than the original card currency. You can check their website for complete fee details, but the card works quite well so for me and their support also usually reply all my queries within one or two days. So for my experience with them is very good but only feel fee is slightly higher side.

On CEX.IO, you are welcome to convert BTC to USD and withdraw them to your payment card instantly.

Thereby, you can use any VISA/MasterCard debit or credit card in any currency (incl. Payoneer, PayPal Debit MasterCard etc.), link it to your profile, and use later on to deposit and withdraw funds at any time.

Withdrawals might be of a higher interest for you, since you are willing to sell Bitcoins. We offer low fees, starting from $3.80 per withdrawal. And note that almost all withdrawals are made instantly, and you are able to use your funds right away. This is a unique feature on the market, and we welcome you to try it out.

Our exchange has been operating since 2013 and has won trust of many users. We are PCI DSS certified, so you can be sure about card data safety with us.

Let us know if you have questions.

Localbitcoins.  P2P for the win.  I only engage in transactions with entities i agree with or support. Circle and coinbase go further than they need to with regulation, i dont give them my business.

Localbitcoins is best TBH. You can go for either cash or get your funds deposited into your bank with this escrow.
Secondly, try bitfinex, they are too good to process withdrawals at times.

most safe way that i use sometimes, is to sell bitcoins to friend, family member, or anyone else in real life, and this way is pretty easy just it is hard to find person that wants to buy

ans if you want safe way then you really shouldn't try to sell them via paypal as buyer can get their money back after you sent him bitcoins, so this way is pretty risky

alot depends on the amount. if it's a big stack then you're best off going through a reputable otc broker like genesis global trading. even if you're verified exchanges might get funny with you if it's alot of money.

for smaller amounts then i'd go for somewhere like circle. i'm not gonna dick around with private buyers.

if you want a safe way to do that, don't even try to sell them via paypal as buyer can get their money back after they got bitcoins so that is not safe way at all and you shouldn't try it

i think very safe way is to sell these bitcoins to your friend or anyone else  in real life, or you can also try to sell them via bank as buyer won't be able to get money back

Posting trade advertisement through the localbitcoins.com website is the safest way of selling bitcoins compared to other bitcoin exchange websites.

You just gotta make sure though if you do place the advertisement its under a escrow option which most people know this but I`ll repeat it.

The non escrow options are people doing local transactions that meet up for cash.

As I mentioned before depending on the amount youre selling though.

Circle.com is easy and safe.
That's how I do it, but I'm not looking to remain anonymous.   If that were the case, I'd do deals on this forum or in person.   Coinbase used to be good, just like circle.

Localbitcoins or any of the famous exchanges would be the safest for selling your coins. Check out Bitstamp, and Bitfinex. Localbitcoin might give you a lot of different options to cash out.
