i can not understand why people re-use passwords, and those who do not understand that it is not SD who compromised their passwords.
Some are smart and know it before, some have to learn the hard way myself included. Then there are those who do not learn from their mistakes.
I think that the standard of computer skills are pretty high on this forum, much higher than the average on the web. it should make it unusual in this forum.

Indeed, I'm not investing a huge amount in SD due to the risk, my passwords are very secure - but you can never 100% trust server security even if the passwords are hashed

(But of course, you're best off using a password manager or sha256("super secure password" + siteName) as your password

There is a risk with the LastPass password as the key is encrypted online but requires 2FA and an enormous password to unlock/decrypt.

As an incentive, I'll certainly add more to the bankroll if you do add 2FA to the site. I'm sure many others will too... (No rush though, best to make sure its secure and tested well)
God forbid if someone just used a password generator and got luckly on one poor soul's account.

SD does not have that much of coins in their hotwallet makes it pretty safe with major investments. no one can take out larger sums of coins without SD must manually fill hotwallet and it becomes an additional control.
