Oh yeah for that one I agree but unfortunately so far there are no local young players who can be relied on even on the top score list dominated by European players including top assist. Besides, on the one hand we understand their target not to prepare national players but for business or marketing we know what their target is in 2030 so they will prioritize European players clearly get more attention. Currently Saudi Pro League is dominated by outside players so if they force local players, they will be unable to compete and the team has the potential to lose more points I am sure this is one of the considerations for them.
Previously Al-Taawoun was one of the clubs that used a lot of local players and they can compete in the top 3 but lately their performance has declined, yeah is a team that uses local players is only able to compete under Al-Nassr, Al-Hilal and some other top teams can't expect more. Actually they could have applied the rules that each club must have 60% of local players but that will have an impact on their initial plan for example limits in bringing European players.
SPL wants to be broadcasted and be seen worldwide and this makes for the rapid purchase and push for European stars who'd cause focus to gradually be shifted to their league. If the local players are entertained, then there'd definitely be no room for this hot caked stars in Europe and in the long run, it won't give them the focus they want to get. All things in the SPL currently occurs as a planned activity, and they are all working towards a set goal. It's only a gradual process before the impacts are seen.
